Les Trésoms (Annecy, Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes) 1 Verified Reviews | Tablet Hotels

"The luxurious Les Trésoms, overlooking the beautiful alpine Lake Annecy, occupies an opulent and historic resort building dating back to 1930. Rooms come in a wide variety of sizes and styles, and have views of either the lake or the forests that populate the surrounding mountains. In the best tradition of alpine spa resorts, the site also includes the Le Pavillon du Bien-Être, where guests may enjoy the pool, hot tubs, hammams and sauna, as well as a range of treatments. The lake, forests, and mountains supply endless opportunities for adventure, including boating, skiing, and hiking. Guests may also enjoy the nearby city of Annecy, “the Venice of the Alps,” where you can find a number of historic sites as well as a wide range of leisure and cultural activities." - Tablet Hotels

We stayed in a Superior room with forest view. Our room, whilst having lovely decor, was the smallest we’ve ever stayed in as was the bathroom (one person at a time). ||The large outside veranda was nice and made up for the lack of inside space however the outdoor furniture very basic - nothing like the photos. ||Some of the staff weren’t very friendly - some were dismissive and downright rude . ||We had one meal in the hotel and the service was slow and below par for a supposedly 4 star Hotel. There were no bar snack options - we just wanted a sandwich or something light at lunchtime but we were told it was out of season (we stayed the last week in June) and to order room service but we’d have to eat it in our room. ||The waiter service for drinks round the pool was practically non existent. ||Annecy itself is beautiful and the views from the hotel are stunning. The hotel decor is lovely but let down by the cleanliness (dust on furniture, lightbulbs gone in chandeliers etc). ||The breakfast was buffet style but no one seemed to be checking whether anything had run out - and no staff around to ask. ||There is a short walk to the town but it’s through a forest area with steep slopes in places - ok for us but difficult for anyone with mobility issues. We took an uber most of the time - readily available and around 12 euros. ||Overall we did have a nice time but we won’t be recommending or returning to the hotel.||

It was a magical 3 night / 4 day stay. Loved the Art Deco style throughout. Our room had an amazing view of theLake with a large balcony to enjoy. The staff was friendly and attentive to every need. The La Rotonde, 1 star Michelin restaurant, was an amazing experience with superb regional foods. Excellently served and presented. The pool was well heated. Beautiful Boutique hotel overall!

Have just returned from a 6 day stay at this hotel. It has some really good aspects, but also some really bad issues that could quite easily be resolved by the hotel. |The good:|Grounds - Set in a lovely spot with picturesque views of the lake.|Pool - Superb. Nice temperature, great views.|Cleanliness - The hotel is really clean. |I think that's about it unfortunately.|The Bad.|Wifi - Hardly worked. So depressing, worked ok/sprodically when in the hotel, but rarely when outside on the patio - not at all by the pool. Having adequate WIFI is a non negotiable for hotels.|Rooms – The rooms are made up nice but this is all lost as there is absolutely no space to hang/store clothes! Worst hotel we have ever stayed in for this. There was only a 15cm rail for both of us to hang our clothes for a 6 day stay. No shelves for socks etc, we had to live out of our suitcases for our whole stay.|Prices – As an example, $16 euros for a beer. Come on, that's just taking the proverbial.|Service - So the staff were nice, but they were ineffective. I lost count the amount of times I had to wait 10 minutes at the bar, as staff were say hovering, they would finish hovering before they would then come over and serve me. Really bad. |Michelin stared. Due to the above, we decided against eating at the Michelin stared restaurant. I am sure the service for this would have been much better, but it would have made us even angrier for it to then return to normal the next day when we was at the pool !|Food - Menu was mwah. No snack bits you could have at/beside the pool|Paid Parking – Come on, they have an ANPR machine at parking gates that charges you 50 cents an hour – really? It just reeks bad taste. Charge me for the week or whatever, not for the hour. Feels like I was in a London car park.|We can’t recommend this hotel. If you have booked, don’t sweat it, just plan to eat out somewhere every night and you’ll be fine.

We appreciated the personal welcome and tour. If you book a room on the 3th floor, you will be wowed by the view on the lake. You can look at the stars from your bed. You also have your own jacuzzi. Breakfast is not cheap but you have a lot of options and freshly squeezed OJ. Parking just outside the hotel is free.

We stayed for 8 nights in a room booked for two people. While we didn’t expect a large space, the lack of storage was genuinely frustrating. The room offered only about 30cm of hanging space—enough for perhaps five tops—and two very small desk drawers, barely fitting a few items. When we raised our concerns with reception, we were told the rooms are intended for short stays of no more than two nights, and that had we called the hotel directly, we would have been informed of this. The response felt dismissive, lacking any empathy or willingness to help. We felt overlooked rather than supported. What made this more surprising was that we booked through Expedia, which listed a two-night minimum stay for this room. Nowhere was it made clear that the room was unsuitable for longer visits. As a result, we lived out of our suitcases for eight days, struggling to stay organised and constantly wearing creased clothes. ||The hotel also appeared to be understaffed, and unfortunately, it shows. The team seemed unhappy and stretched thin, which impacted service throughout our stay. We dined in the restaurant twice—on one occasion, we waited 20 minutes before anyone even took our drink order, and then another 10 minutes for the drinks to arrive. When we asked for an English menu the waiter replied that they had been handed out to others, I replied that no one had a menu at any other table to which the waiter angrily looked through the menus to find us one. We asked for salt that never came to the table and once we finished our meal and mention that the salt never came they simply did not care. ||Prices were also surprisingly high: nearly €12 for a fresh orange juice and €13 for a beer. While we understand that hotel prices are often elevated, the quality of service didn’t match the cost. Overall, we left feeling disappointed.

I wouldn’t even write a review had they not bombarded me with emails to do so. Room are delightful and quirky, but due to the nature of the building the bathrooms are steamy and smell of mold. The pool area is stunning, inviting, and peaceful. It makes you wanna be there all day and drink, but trying to get someone to serve you is…..exhausting. It’s almost like they don’t want to take your money. That goes for trying to eat there too, unless you wanna go by their rule. Go into town and stock up, just make sure it’s done before Sunday as the city shuts down.

Small but well equipped rooms. But one of our group had no working air conditioning. Others had attic rooms that were very cramped. Stupidly expensive for drinks. Some staff were amazingly good. Some were just rude and incompetent. Great location and facilities.

A wonderful 4 days stay at Les Trésoms. Initially only booked a traditional room as that was the only availability online, however we managed to get an upgraded room during check in - definitely recommend paying the extra for the stunning views over the lake. The room was spacious and beautiful. Service was amazing throughout, we had a few drinks around the pool, any queries we had were answered promptly. Breakfast was good with lots of fresh local produce - only slight disappointment was having to use coffee machines and not getting freshly brewed coffee brought to us. The grounds are incredible and the numerous facilities are all stunning. We did not have the opportunity to try La Rotonde restaurant as it was shut for a break but the views are again breathtaking - another time! Slight potential issues: there was a wedding on the last day of our day, so the peace and quiet from the rest of our stay was slightly interrupted - something to bear in mind on weekend stays. The walk into town is great using the little shortcut in the forest, however the way back is much harder on the steep inclines and the walk would not suit people with mobility issues or poor cardio.
