Les Trésoms Lake and Spa Resort

We had an excellent one week stay at this Hotel in Privilege Room 110 which had a large balcony and superb view over the Lake. Very spacious room with very comfortable King Bed and good walk-in Shower and jacuzzi bath. The Hotel staff all very welcoming and helpful. The Hotel has a path through woodlands which leads directly to the Lake promenade, which we used every day. The Hotel is around 20 minutes walk from Annecy town but this was very pleasant. |We like the decor and furnishings of the hotel. We had an inclusive breakfast package which we enjoyed. The breakfast had a good buffet, but we felt the cooked section would be better if it could be ordered separately. |Our stay was from the 30th August to September 6th. We did not realise that in Annecy, the summer season ends on the 31st August !!! - Very strange as the week we were there was still very busy, BUT all the complimentary tourist buses going to the SEMNOZ mountain and the local buses STOP on the 31st August, and there are no replacements. This was a big disappointment to us as we had planned our walking days there. These bus services are only for July and August, and had we known this then we would have booked our stay for that time. |However we did use the local bus services (2 Euros ticket takes you everywhere on that bus route) and walked every day around the town and lakeside, plus taking the City one hour tour and a boat trip. |We are very pleased that we chose this hotel and especially the Room, and would recommend a stay here of 5-7 nights.

We had a pleasant 4 night stay for a family wedding. Just be conscious of the location, whilst the view is spectacular, it comes at the price of being away from town and up a hill. We tried a few different options to get into town, walking (25min), shuttle booked through the hotel (EUR40) and Uber (EUR11-16).

The staff is friendly, the food is good - but has its price. Breakfast is good - but hot chocolate made with hot water and milk powder (sad for a mountain destination, where fresh milk should be close by) Spa is tiny -hence you need to reserve (and pay!) 20 Euro per hour is the charge. One hour might be ok - but its not worth spending more time there. (small sauna, small hammam, experience shower, unheated outdoor pool and warm balea pool) Change rooms small and creating waiting time. We did not book any treatment - just used the spa area.

Only a brief overnight stop but the stunning view across the lake from the bedroom when I woke up, could not have been bettered. So I very much appreciated the free room upgrade. Delicious dinner in the restaurant too. Thank you - exactly what I needed!

The only real positive about this hotel is the view & to a point location – everything else was a disappointment.||There were multiple hidden costs: parking came to over €40 for just two nights, breakfast wasn’t included despite this not being mentioned at check-in, and the spa cost €20 per hour. On top of that, the staff were boarderline rude and unhelpful throughout our stay.||The facilities were poor for the price – the WiFi didn’t work, there was no mini bar, no room service, and not even glasses provided in the room. To make matters worse, the room we were given looked nothing like the photos online. We were assigned a twin bed despite booking a double, and when we raised this, we were told it would be changed the next day. Unsurprisingly, it never was.||Other frustrations included the fire alarm going off at 8am on a Sunday with no apology, a late check-in time (4pm), and an earlyish check-out (11am) with no option for a later departure.||Overall, a very dissapointing experience. The view simply doesn’t make up for the lack of transparency, poor service, and substandard facilities.

We did not find the property to match the descriptions on our booking site or the hotel website. It was not private or secure. The bathroom doors are clear glass with a mirror across from it, not allowing privacy in the restrooms. (Two friends traveling) The exterior of the hotel door contains a light signaling to others when you were or weren’t in your room. We asked hotel staff about the two items and they suggested we move rooms and then decided not to move us. The booking site will not refund us because the hotel said they resolved the issue with the guests. We left after a few hours due to the discomfort and vulnerability of privacy and security. The hotel did not provide solutions. The advertisement on their webpages and their actual policies including the spa, breakfast, property etc are misleading and considered false advertisement. We felt mistreated and discriminated against from the moment we arrived.

This hotel was recommended by our daughter and son-in-law who stayed there a few years ago so we decided to book it ourselves as they mentioned the views were spectacular from the hotel, sadly that’s all that was spectacular as from the moment we arrived to the day we left we were left feeling disappointed in most areas apart from the view. The lady who checked us in was pleasant enough but we realised later that most people who were booking in were given a tour of the hotel and facilities but we were given a room card and left to our own devices to find our way around luckily the hotel is not large so we managed to navigate our way around. From then on it was downhill the room was pleasant enough we had a view of the lake which was stunning but the room was tired and the bathroom exceptionally small to the point it was actually difficult to sit on the toilet!!! As we arrived late afternoon after travelling for hours we tried to book a table for dinner but was told they were fully booked so we asked for a room service menu, it was such a let down there were about four items on there none of them being realistic for a meal so unless you want a seaweed salad or cheese or cold meat you will struggle to order food. We were not the only guests to struggle with the room menu choices after speaking to others it was a general consensus that they need to update with a few more realistic choices to suit most palates. We booked a table for the restaurant with reception in the morning for the next evening but after ordering a bottle of wine in the bar we had a drink and asked if the wine could be brought through to the restaurant and was assured it would be, we went into the restaurant only to be told there was no booking for us and they had no tables free that evening sadly I had to demand a table and refused to leave then after a discussion between two waiters we were reluctantly shown to a table, we then waited and no wine appeared so my husband went back out to the bar to retrieve our wine and no offer to carry it in was offered so poor show really. Our table was initially booked for 8pm and despite there actually being four empty tables!!! We were then ignored for a further 30mins before I asked if we could order our food, we decided against starters as it was getting late so went for mains but this did not appear until|almost 9.15pm. The whole experience was awful they clearly did not appreciate me demanding a table despite us having previously booked it and they made sure we knew this with their attitude, the food was just mediocre and again a let down. All I can say is rude staff, tired hotel but stunning views

Disappointing experience overall. The room, priced at €250 per night, was extremely small, with a basic plastic-fitted bathroom and visible signs of wear and damage. Access required climbing a full flight of uncomfortable stairs, which was particularly difficult given my knee condition, something I had mentioned at the front desk, but no consideration or alternative was offered.||The outdoor tables and sun loungers had no real view, completely obstructed by overgrown plants (not speaking about the trees, is normal|To see them ) .Dinner was equally underwhelming: the starters were of poor quality, and even the still water tasted off. We also paid €20 per person for the spa, but when attempting to use the indoor pool, we found the water freezing despite being told it was 30°C. When I informed the staff, the only response was, “We didn’t test the water.”||It was also impossible to get service at the outdoor pool area. We had to walk to reception three separate times before someone finally came to take our order, as the bar and restaurant were constantly unattended. This happened repeatedly throughout the stay.||The only positive aspects were the professionalism of the lady and gentleman at the front desk and the quality of the mattress. Everything else fell far below expectations.
