"Decadent Indulgence at Intimate Boutique Hotels Are you the sort of sophisticated sybarite who likes your R&R with a side of culture? If so, you’ve come to the right island. At Le Cap Est Resort, the onsite Spa uses indigenous materials like local cocoa, tea leaves, and ginger root to refresh and rejuvenate sun-kissed skin. Fine arts fans can relax by the pool at Hôtel La Suite Villa, where an extensive collection of original modernist paintings and sculpture accompany an infinity pool overlooking lush greenery and the Caribbean ocean in the distance. Both feature renowned Chefs. Life is good, non? Sponsored by Martinique"

The place don’t offer what you pay for. It’s old and the photos are misleading. You have nothing there not even an automatic vending machine. The beach it’s not nice.and there are plenty of algae. Overall experience Zero. Martinique it’s not a nice island or maybe you need to be french ton understand it.

Beautiful location. Great suites with awesome views of the sunrise. Great base point for exploring the Atlantic and northern parts of Martinique. The restaurant serves delicious food but is run inefficiently (long waits!) so consider eating elsewhere or getting room service. Poolside area is relaxing but beach is way too windy so head out to calmer areas on the island for your beach time.

My room was very tired looking. Broken furniture, stains on the sofa and walls, drapes barely covered the windows and the ceiling fan did not work which was necessary because the mosquitoes in our room were ferocious. We requested a fan but was told they had no more but promised to buy one for us which they didn’t do. Had the ceiling fan worked it would have prevented us from having to wear bug repellent to bed. The breakfast staff never smiled or said “good morning “. There were no activities and no shops, and their beach was so loaded with seaweed it unusable which forced us to go off the resort to find a beach on the Caribbean side of the island that has no seaweed problem. Dinner at the resort was mediocre. We had no choice but to dine there since restaurants on the island are closed on Sunday and Monday. The best thing going for this resort is their front desk staff. They were very helpful and friendly which sort of made up for how much this resort lacks. The General Manager needs to do a better job of taking care of this place.

Nice room, huge space with balcony. At shower room they dont have thing to put soap and shampoo. Boring breakfast as everyday is the same. Room service came with plastic Staff is not friendly nor smiles at all. The water was off more then 24 hours, we asked 3 times for boxes or something to keep water as we need to use toilet, they seem not care or pay attention on what we asked for. They should let us know before that so we can keep water in bathtubs. Beach is not nice as rocky beach.

Cap Est Lagoon is a nice resort on a peninsula with water views and protected swimming behind floats that protect the beach from the constant seaweed. The staff is always available to help. The resort is well run but is in need of constant repair as it sits on the windward side of the island. The restaurant is excellent and ladies enjoyed the spa.

If I could, this would get zero stars. I am currently staying here and I couldn’t feel more like I was in prison. Horrible service. The beach is full of nasty, smelly sea weed that hasn’t been touched for months probably. The food is poor, the staff is non existent. For lunch you have to call room service to get food, that is if they even answer the phone at all. Basically zero English spoken. The rooms are out dated, beds are lumpy, shower leaks and has a detachable shower head that is probably from the 80s. There is no cold water. Upon our arrival it was dark, the lady at the front desk gave us a map and said that’s where your room is. Nothing better than searching for your room at a supposed “luxury” hotel in the pitch black night with no help. We are trying to cut our honeymoon short because this has been a disaster since day one. We would rather have a staycation than stay here any longer.

Beautiful, quaint resort with very hospitable staff. Rooms were clean, quiet, and tastefully decorated. Private pool in room added a nice romantic touch. I don’t know what these other yay-hoos are talking about — best honeymoon spot on the whole daggum island.
