It was absolutely amazing! Great staff, awesome accommodations and just the best experience overall! We got the full board and the food was great every time. We really were being spoiled, due to the amazing staff. Location is amazing and the hikes we did in the morning were great and Jack, our guide, was amazing with telling us everything we wanted to know. The game drives in the afternoon were also great and everything was perfectly cared for and amazing as always. The accommodations were amazing, we could almost see the animals from your bed, the most amazing view for the second you stand up. Nothing short of absolutely amazing

It was absolutely amazing from the start till the end. Great staff Lukas, Jack, Josephine, Mohalalo and cleaning staff. The accommodation and the view was picture perfect. The best experience overall. We got the full board and the food was excellent each and every time. We have been really spoiled thanks to each and everyone involved. The game drives in the afternoon were also great and everything was perfectly cared for. The lodge itself was amazing with an awesome view!! We have also enjoyed the splash pool. We will definitely visit again

After an exciting drive up to the top of the Soutpansberg mountains in the northern part of Limpopo, a hidden valley unfolded in front of us. Green, lush and draped in a mysterious mist. We had landed at Leshiba Wilderness – an eco-lodge beyond our wildest dreams and that does not cut back on creature comforts. As we are always looking for other places with a green ethos, Leshiba is a true gem. Entering the Venda Art Lodge, we were surrounded by art pieces and sculptures made by the now famous Noria Mabasa. It gives a sense of not only staying at a lodge, but in a living art museum. We were warmly greeted by the lovely staff Luckas, Joyce and the team, manager Lara and owners Kathy and Peter. The visit included art and more art, stories about medical plants and stories from the past, making this not just a visit with breathtaking views, but also something that only great people can give. People who are truly proud of their land and what they have achieved. Thanks so much for a fantastic visit at Leshiba Wilderness

Everything about it was fabulous. Joyce and the guides made our stay unforgettable. From the most stunning views to the most fabulous food, not forgetting the great massage. I would recommend this to everyone who visits South Africa as one of the top of my lists !!! At least 2 days to be able to enjoy the peacefulness and the beautiful animals ! Thanks again idil and I had the most wonderful stay ❤️

We spent a night at Leshiba on14th October 2023 - what a wonderful experience. The accommodation is unique, they thought of every little thing, from warm water bottles to the nicest shower gels, the finishing touches are of the best quality, an outside shower and an inside shower, a fireplace, a huge bath with a gorgeous view of the mountain, gowns and slippers, the bed was very comfortable with clean white cotton linen and everything in the room was perfect. The food was out of this world. The meals were fresh and delicious and they even catered a gluten free birthday cake (thank you for going the extra mile). Our two game activities were amazing - a game drive and a walk to see the bushmen paintings. Jack's knowledge of the bush was awesome and his passion was very obvious. A massive thank you to the Leshiba Team - Joyce, Isack and Jack (they people we had the most contact with) BUT also thank you to the team in the background, housekeeping and kitchen assitents - you made us feel like family and we got really spoilt. Kathryn and Peter; THANK YOU.

We had a wonderful experience at Leshiba. Every staff member we encountered, from the driver to ladies at reception were delightful and eager to help! Just being in the Soutpansberg was wonderful for a start, and Leshiba offers the best that these mountains have to offer. We stayed in Hamasha, and it was a perfect choice for a family of four. We had thousands of hectares to ourselves, and all we could hear were the sounds of nature... nothing else! The fauna and Flora of the Soutpansberg is so unique and special. We constantly heard the calls of countless different birds, the calls of the Purple Crested Tauraco being the most memorable. We did a couple of hiking routes, and can't wait to go back there to do them all. The views of the majestic mountains and cliffs are forever in my heart. Leshiba was the highlight of our trip to South Africa.

We found a little piece of heaven on earth at Leshiba Mountain Retreats in the Soutpansberg Mountains last weekend. Do yourselves a favour and make a plan to get there! Apart from the stunning accommodation, delicious food, and friendly, attentive staff at Leshiba Mountain Retreats, it was awesome being out in the bush again. The game drive is highly recommended (you may just get a pleasant surprise) and the cycle track - although not for the faint hearted - is beautiful.

A magical place with a really kind staff (Joyce took time to chat with us et show us her life here). It was our second time here in Hamasha and despite of the distance from France, we'll be there soon in their new lodges... Breathtaking views, serenity, peace : everything is here!
