Camping at Letaba Camp in Kruger National Park was an unforgettable experience! The campsite is beautifully located on the banks of the Letaba River, offering stunning views and frequent sightings of elephants, hippos, and a variety of birdlife right from the camp. The facilities were clean, well-maintained, and conveniently laid out. The campsite had plenty of shade from the surrounding trees, and we loved the peaceful, natural atmosphere. There’s something truly special about waking up to the sounds of the bush and enjoying your morning coffee while watching wildlife along the river. Letaba also has a great little shop, restaurant, and an excellent elephant museum that’s well worth a visit. The camp had a calm, laid-back feel—perfect for relaxing after a day of game viewing. It’s an ideal spot for both first-time visitors and seasoned Kruger campers. We can’t wait to return and would highly recommend Letaba to anyone looking for a scenic and serene camping experience in the heart of the park.

Camped (glamped) overnight in one of the canvas tents and had an absolutely fantastic time. The tent was neat and very clean and had thoughtful power- end table power as well as interior, exterior, and path light switches. Also, an oscillating fan was provided. The patio and braai area were nice touches. The camp was beautiful and the common services were very clean and in good maintenance. I felt very comfortable using the ablutions. Camp shop was wonderfully stocked and had everything needed that wasn't packed The stew at the Tindlovu was excellent and its view over the river was sublime at sundown. Wait times for food was quite high (both at dinner and breakfast, we had finished our drinks well-before food arrived. Aside from the food wait (both meals we were the only immediate customers being served), the only notable downside was being mugged by velvet monkeys. They attacked our snack bag before we were even able to shuffle it into the room.

Wonderful spot on the banks of the River. Home to the Elephant Museum, which was very informative, ensuring you learn something new about the world's largest land animal. Accommodation was clean, comfortable and the perfect spot to rest after a day exploring the park. Restaurant provided good food and reception services were friendly, accommodating and helpful. We will definitely be back.

We have been staying at Letaba rest camp for several years in the June/July vacation. The camp is beautifully situated next to the river and the tents that is builded on the fence is easily and nice to stay at. The camp has a kids program with a night walk that is very nice and enjoyable for the kids aswell as the kids drive. The camp is nice and would definitely reccomend on your trip to the Kruger! Nice routes to drive when you stay at Letaba is to Olifants next to the river aswell as the loop next to the rivers. The elephant museum is informative and worth a visit!

Great views front rhe restaurant. Close to the Phalaborwa gate. Rooms are clean. Service is excellent. Be mindful of the vevet monkeys. Do not be intimidated by them, and don't ever feed them. Service is excellent. Some rooms can do with some renovations, but to be fair, they're not bad, unless you plan to stay in the room all day, which is not what most people go to the Kruger for.

I camped here. The sites are all right but the male ablution block toilets were absolutely rank, smelling of stale urine. The site wasn't overcrowded so it must have been a lack of cleaning. The rest of the camp was pleasant and well maintained.

Was camping there. Monkeys are a serious problem. They raid the tents and vehicles. Not pleasant to keep everything closed. None the less, nice environment and pool. Do spend rime I'm the Elephant hall. Very interesting. Also had great service at the resturant

Was a beautiful chalet we stayed in, but the beds were terrible. Chalet was clean and nest. Shower drains need to be cleaned. Our chalet was a 6 sleeper, on the fence, atmosphere was amazing.
