Camping at Letaba Camp in Kruger National Park was an unforgettable experience! The campsite is beautifully located on the banks of the Letaba River, offering stunning views and frequent sightings of elephants, hippos, and a variety of birdlife right from the camp.
The facilities were clean, well-maintained, and conveniently laid out. The campsite had plenty of shade from the surrounding trees, and we loved the peaceful, natural atmosphere. There’s something truly special about waking up to the sounds of the bush and enjoying your morning coffee while watching wildlife along the river.
Letaba also has a great little shop, restaurant, and an excellent elephant museum that’s well worth a visit. The camp had a calm, laid-back feel—perfect for relaxing after a day of game viewing.
It’s an ideal spot for both first-time visitors and seasoned Kruger campers. We can’t wait to return and would highly recommend Letaba to anyone looking for a scenic and serene camping experience in the heart of the park.
