One of the tastiest meals I’ve had. I got the menu deal, which included the duck hearts, Basque hake, and rice pudding. The service was attentive and warm, making people feel welcome and at home. I highly recommend L’Etable.

Great restaurant in the center of Biarritz. Everything is delicious here. The staff is great too! They truly deserve their rank in the best place to eat in Biarritz!

We got he pork ribs from the regular menu and they were way too much for us to eat I think the portion on the menu of the day is a bit smaller. But the food was great as was the service. I heartily recommend this place, especially if you are hungry.

The main meal (duck, cooked two ways) was so big and delicious that I had no room for desert. Nice wine too. Staff were very helpful. I'd give it another half star if I could. 4.5/5. Can't give it 5...needed to taste the deserts...haha

My fiancé and I spent the weekend in Biarritz with our friends from Pau. We were having drinks at a bar a few blocks away and my friend asked the bartender for a dinner recommendation. He suggested L’Etable because it offered quality dining at a decent price. When we arrived, the host informed us it would be a 45 minute wait but the smells wafting from the kitchen had us sold. Everything on the menu looked incredible and we trusted our local friends to order starters. While it was my first time eating duck hearts, I don’t think anyone could make them better than L’Etable. They were truly incredible. I guess I was on a duck craze because I ordered the roast duck topped with foie gras cooked to the chef’s recommendation. It came out perfect, incredibly tender and bursting with flavor. Thank you L’Etable for one of the best meals of my life.

Best restaurant? Seriously? Not worth your time. Skip it! Bad food, old, outdated decoration, super expensive (for the quality you get). Seriously, don’t come.

Great country French. The duck hearts were amazing. Everything was perfect and having the chef serve you was the best part.

Very nice time, cozy, friendly and very tasty. Were very accommodating of surprise additions to the party. Excellent desserts to boot.

Yelp
We each had the snail salad and for main course duck breast. Both very large portions so recommend to share if you are not too verocious. The salad was quite uninteresting, couldn't really quite discern the idea behind this creation. The snails were a bit sandy and far too chewy/dry. Not my idea of how snails should be enjoyed. The duck breast with foia was cooked pretty spot on served with a potato-gratin and a skewer with mushrooms, peppers, squash. This was a very large piece of meat so we sorta regretted not just share one course. Anyway easily a four star dish but because of the salad a one star deduction. Service was very attentive and nice. The local as such a bit dull. Prices absolutely ok.

Yelp
The food was nice. Cute little restaurant that was open late. I ate: -Eggs mimosa (similar to American deviled eggs) they had a good amount of salt and paprika that made me happy. The greens it was served with were very fresh and had a light dressing - duck breast (medium) with black cherry sauce natural. The sauce was not as flavorful as I like, the duck was fine, and the layered potatoes needed more flavor to them. The dish was fine but not exceptional to make me come back. But it was a good choice instead of that pizza

Yelp
l´etable did not quite live up to the expectations I had. The service was very friendly and welcoming, the problem was with the food. Or rather with the sides that came with the (otherwise tasty) main dishes. While the grilled vegetables just lacked a bit of seasoning - the dry, tasteless cone of rice that also was on the plate just let the side down.

Yelp
Amazing service- nice, helped out with explaining a few dishes, and they had a sense of humor. The food is the best we had in our 2 week honeymoon in France. The charcuterie was hands down bar none the tastiest. Foie gras pate was stellar. Ate the steak for two and it was delicious. Creme brûlée and chocolate orange pie for dessert. Not too sweet, just perfect with a cup of coffee or tea ! Wish we found it sooner!!
