"Panoramic Views from a Prague Hill Top Letna Park, located on a hilltop in Prague’s seventh district just around the corner from Prague Castle and on the west side of the Vltava River, hasexceptional views of the Prague'snumerous bridges, the castle and all across the city. The park includes one of Prague’s most popular beer gardens, paths for running or strolling, and a number of iconicstructures such as the neo-Baroque Hanavský Pavilon, built in 1891, and the glass-and-steel Expo 58Pavilion, which won the Grand Prix for best pavilionat the 1958 World’s Fair in Brussels."

Great park with scenic views. I’d say it’s more suited for children and the elderly rather than young people or young-adults. That said, it still looks like a nice spot for cycling, walking, or taking your dog out.

A very underrated park with the best panoramic view of Prague! There are also benches where you can relax and order a drink. The park is most accessible by tram or on foot. If you plan a trip to Prague, don’t miss out on this one!!

I am glad not many people know about this place. That’s a literal gem of Prague. I first came across this place back in 2018 and have been going there religiously since. This tranquil atmosphere just makes you feel everything. There are not many people in more secluded and leafy areas, which is great if you’re looking for solitude. There are plenty of benches and tables to sit at and read your book. If you want a picnic, that’s where you’re going to go. People just seem to mind their own business and enjoy the city. I highly recommend it if you’re traveling solo. Just make sure you go there before the sunset as the area gets a little dingy during the night time. This place has a special spot in my heart and I will forever recommend it

In the park is a designated spot for photos; a scenic techno spot with locals and beer (great local prague vibes); lovely stroll in a park and then a beer garden with more scenic view. Must visit

Relaxing experience in a beautiful park. You can either walk, sit or lie on the grass, or go grab a beer at the Letná Beer Garden. Totally worth spending some time here. Great views of the river and the city.

Don't miss! Here I say it again! not to miss. A magical area, with an amazing view, with a wonderful atmosphere. Just get out of the noise of the city for a moment in the silence of nature. There are amazing photo spots there. Definitely worth putting it in your itinerary. A round of one and a half to two hours and back to the city. Gives wonderful energy for the rest of the day

Very nice park that feels separated from the city. Lots of walking paths and places to sit. If you have time during your trip and are trying to get your steps in this is worth a visit!

*A Stunning Urban Retreat for All Seasons* Letná Park is a breathtaking urban escape in Prague, offering endless opportunities for relaxation, exercise, and soaking in the city’s charm. Perched above the Vltava River, the park boasts stunning panoramic views of Prague’s Old Town, the shimmering river, and its iconic bridges—perfect for photos or simply taking in the scenery. The view from spots like the Metronome or Hanavský Pavilion is unforgettable. As a runner, I find Letná’s wide, well-maintained asphalt pathways ideal for a smooth jog, winding beautifully across the expansive lawns. These paths crisscross the park, making it a haven for runners, cyclists, inline skaters, and walkers. The park’s flat Letná Plain is especially great for easy navigation, but the real magic lies in the smaller, meticulously maintained pathways that dip into the river valley. Walking these quieter trails, especially in autumn when the leaves turn vibrant shades of orange and red, feels like stepping into a painting. The crisp air and colorful foliage create a heartwarming, almost magical experience that’s hard to beat. Letná is perfect for everyone—families with kids, dog owners, and even those practicing yoga or martial arts in the open spaces. I’ve seen people of all ages here, from energetic kids at the playground to seniors strolling or jogging, which keeps me motivated during my runs. The park feels safe and welcoming, with plenty of space for dogs to roam freely. A recently added lake cools the area and adds to the scenic beauty, complementing the centuries-old trees, flowering shrubs, and vibrant flowerbeds that make spring and summer visits spectacular. Summer brings extra life with the Letná Beer Garden, a shaded spot under chestnut trees serving refreshing Czech beers and snacks like fries or halloumi sticks (bring cash!). The beer garden’s laid-back vibe and river views are unbeatable. Events like the Letní Letná festival, with circus acts, theater, and music, add a festive touch. Sports lovers will appreciate the football and tennis areas, swing chairs, jumping springs, and open exercise corners scattered throughout. For those exploring further, Letná connects to Chotkovy Sady via a charming arched wooden bridge, offering a scenic route toward Prague Castle. This connection makes it easy to extend your visit into another beautiful green space, enhancing the park’s appeal for longer outings. The park’s proper waste management keeps it clean despite the crowds, and accessibility is decent with multiple entry points (e.g., Čechův Bridge or trams to Letenské náměstí), though some valley paths involve steps, so plan ahead for strollers or mobility needs. Letná Park is a year-round treasure, but autumn on those valley pathways is pure bliss. Whether you’re running, walking, cycling, or just enjoying the views with a beer, Letná delivers an unforgettable experience. Highly recommend!

Yelp
This city park is gorgeous during the fall, and offers wonderful views of the city year round. You'll have a fair climb up to the park from street along the river, but you can use stairs ir a very long ramp. The park has many fields, walkways, and benches. There's also a skating park area and a pond. It's a perfect place for a date, walking dogs, playing with your kids, or spending some time alone.

Yelp
Beautiful, cozy and really infromal place with everything you need for active / lazy relax :) Perfectly accessible by walk and public transport. Nice park to come with your friends, have a beer and picknick. Around Metronom is cool spot, expecially in summer where there are many events here.

Yelp
Letna's big beer garden overlooking the river and city centre is for me the best beer garden in town. Get your plastic cup of beer from the kiosk next to the beer garden and enjoy a sunny day on the grass or by the picnic tables. You can also buy a hotdog, sausage, kebab or quiche from the warm food kiosk during the summer. Drinks and snacks are very affordable and the huge park is yours to enjoy for free. Perfect for sports and picnics cause there's a lot of space. In case you're looking for the perfect post card shot of Prague centre, Vltava river and the bridges, just walk along the river side of Letna park and you will have plenty of photo ops.

Yelp
Great views and a huge beer garden, what's not to love? The park has 2 playgrounds for kids, including one that is fenced in and dog free. Paved routes for biking and rollerblading as well as plenty of green space for picnics. Make sure to check out the metronome, which used to be the location of the world's largest statue of Stalin.

Yelp
A sprawling park with great views of the city. easily accessible by tram or just walk, it is just up the hill from prague 1. there are a couple of places serving drinks and snacks and the beer garden overlooks prague's old town. the park is open all year and is always popular on a sunny day(because the sun is rare in this country).

Yelp
Ah I absolutely love this park, and I went on a grim rainy day as well. I was reaching the end of my time in Prague and knew that I needed to stop at Letna at least once. It's very easy to access if you're too lazy to walk--just take the 18 and get off at the stop before hradcanska and you're pretty much on the edge of the park. Great views of the city, ample green space--def one of my favorite Prague parks.

Yelp
This park so far is my absolute favorite in Prague. Great for running, walking, jogging, roller blading, taking the dog for a walk, or any other outdoor thing you imagine. There is the Metranome statue which replaced the Stalin statue quite a few years ago and if you are lucky it will be turned on and moving during your visit! This park is huge with many trails and paths as well as stunning views of the city. Looking for that photograph you have seen for sale on the Charles Bridge of all 3 bridges together? Well it is your lucky day because this is the spot they are all taken from. There are multiple amazing photo vantage points here, my personal favorite being the one next to the metranome of the whole city. Great place to spend a nice sunny day in the center of Prague with a picnic. For best results take a tram to the Cechuv most stop and cross the street to the bottom of the stairs and walk up. A great workout and the fastest way to the metranome. A must see for first time Prague visitors and locals alike.
