Leto Nuevo Hotel enjoys a truly beautiful location, on the higher part of Nafplio just above the old town. From there you can easily walk everywhere. Upon our arrival, the reception staff were friendly, offered to share information about the town, and even carried our luggage to the room. The Deluxe room we had booked was spacious, comfortable, very clean, and offered a nice balcony view of the Bourtzi.||From that point on, however, there were several issues that unfortunately overshadowed our stay. Parking near the hotel is almost impossible, since most spaces have been converted by the municipality into residents-only spots. As a result, guests are practically forced to leave their car at the port and walk 10–15 minutes with their luggage.||The room had not been properly prepared before our arrival. It was not ventilated and the heat inside was overwhelming; it took a whole day for the air conditioning to cool it down. The minibar also needed almost a full day before it could chill water properly.||Noise is a major problem. The windows are not double-glazed, so you hear church bells and sounds from the street below. The shutters have slats that let light in, and the curtains are thin without blackout coverage, which means you inevitably wake up at sunrise.||While the cleanliness of the room was excellent, the overall experience was poor, as the lack of proper rest due to the noise is a serious issue. The negative impression was reinforced by the fact that at check-out, no one from the staff asked about our stay, if we had faced any problems, or if there was anything we would like to mention.||These are not new concerns. They have been mentioned repeatedly, by myself and other guests, since as early as 2021. Having stayed at this property several times, it is disappointing to see no signs of improvement. The location is excellent, but the unchanged problems make the stay unsatisfactory.
