L'Etoile des Mers

Etoile sur Mer is an dining experience that brings the freshness of the sea to your plate. The concept is brilliant, with fresh fish on display at the seafood counter right in front of you, allowing you to select your catch while watching the chefs prepare it in an open kitchen. It’s a perfect blend of transparency and quality. We started with the oysters, which were a delightful choice, setting the tone for the meal. The Tuna Tartare and the Grilled St. Pierre were absolutely outstanding. The tartare was perfectly seasoned. The atmosphere also deserves praise, as it's relaxed and allows for a leisurely dining experience. We’re definitely looking forward to returning to Etoile sur Mer to try more of their incredible seafood!

Restaurant hiding behind the seafood shop. Actually all seafood comes directly from that shop. Chef prepares all meals just in front of you. Was amazing to see how whole fish is skillfully transforming into delicious tartar. Great place to eat in Deauville!

+++ Nice concept. We choose and buy the seafood like in a market and they cook for you and serve you in the restaurant behind. Fresh oysters. The mashed potato was very good. Not expensive - - - The bulots were not fresh

L’etoile des mers was a great place, we loved the combination of the restaurant with the fish monger. The food was very fresh and tasty and it was great to see the fish being prepared in front of you. A must go when you’re in Deauville!
