Leuaina Beach Resort

I had a long-term stay here and overall I was pleased with my experience. Samoa is expensive; keep that in mind. Based on island standards, Leuaina is good to average for the price point. Be aware that they don't have a beach; the ocean comes right up to the dock and you can walk in and swim. There is a shelf, which means that the water is very shallow in all surrounding areas. The view is beautiful and there are lots of pretty fish. The resort needs some repair work after COVID, but everywhere does. The staff were very friendly. The Wifi (which I needed daily for work) was surprisingly stable, except for my last week when it was basically out the entire time, and no one seemed bothered to actually find a solution for me. I know their internet works, I used it for weeks prior to this but if you need 100% stable Wifi like I do, I would have recommended them without hesitation until my experience my last week. I don't know if or when they may get it back online like before. The food was good and the prices are reasonable. Overall I am happy with my stay at Leuaina.

A touch of Paradise – beautiful Le Uaina||Our 5-day stay at Le Uaina resort in Samoa was perfect. From the moment we arrived, we were enveloped in the warmest Samoan hospitality thanks to Roy, Olo, Josie and Dutchy.||They each welcome you with the biggest smiles and went above and beyond to ensure our comfortability. They catered to our every need with genuine kindness. Whether it was preparing special meals, connecting to great wifi, or sorting the weather (LoL), their dedication and warmth was unmatched.||The dining experience was good and reasonably priced. The accommodation was spacious and clean. Activities were fun and we enjoyed snorkelling and exploring Upolu.||Le Uaina strikes the perfect balance between comfort and authenticity and the true gem here are the people, you’ll be spoilt upon arrival.

We had a wonderfully relaxed and subdued holiday. Chose this place at random and due to availability with the Commonwealth Leaders meeting about to start, a lot of places were booked. We are so glad we did. We chose one of the Premier rooms, opening out to the pool, and beachfront a few steps away. The room was a decent size, had coffee making facilities and a large rainwater shower in a separate bathroom. There’s a 42” flat screen TV, and as you’d expect for the location channels are limited but if you’re on holiday that shouldn’t be of concern. The restaurant features a traditional Samoan dance, and fire show on Saturday evening and is worth a watch. Very entertaining and the fire part of it was great. The thing that really made our stay memorable has to be the staff. They were all attentive, happy and always smiling. All the staff were exceptional however both Soli and Roy (Spelling correct I hope) were amazing. Both a real credit to the resort

Had an amazing 7 night stay here at the beautiful Leuaina beach resort. Staff were absolutely amazing, helpful and made us feel so comfortable. They provided us with great service, if we needed anything they were able to accommodate to us. The food was good, it could do with more options but overall it was at a decent standard. The cocktails are amazing and priced reasonably. Thank you to our Leuaina family who made our first time visiting Samoa an awesome experience, we can't wait to come back and visit you all again!!

We had a 7 night stay here as a couple. Loved the resort and the staff were the best. Its so very quiet and relaxing. Rooms were a good size (beds hard), pools were good and a 2min walk into the sea. The food was the only thing we felt let it down. It wasn't always hot and the variety was lacking.

I recently returned home after a week-long stay at this wonderful place, and I want to share my uplifting experience. First, I must mention that I wouldn't recommend booking the garden rooms, as they aren't worth it; I received an upgrade because they looked decent in pictures, but in reality, they were disappointing. On a more positive note, I am incredibly grateful for the exceptional service my sisters and I received from the kitchen, restaurant, bar, and reception staff. Initially, I was hesitant to book due to some reviews, but I'm so glad I did, as my experience was truly wonderful. However, I did notice some concerning issues in the surrounding area. The police need to do their jobs properly, as drugs like methamphetamine are on the rise and are destroying the community, which is sad to see. For future guests, I recommend keeping personal items with you and taking pictures of your belongings to ensure everything is returned, as there can always be one bad apple in the mix. Overall, thank you to everyone at the resort for making our stay memorable! 🙌🏽

The best time was having breakfast on the deck. Beautiful breeze and ocean scenery quiet and peaceful. We were happy there was a good supply of pawpaw and koko-alaisa. The only downside was the slippery tile floor of the shower in the ocean villa.|Put more rubber mats on the floor might do the trick.

Very friendly and helpful staff and delicious meals. Also loved the evening entertainment. The pools were always clean and the small pool was great for toddlers as it was shallow. We loved being able to jump off the deck into the clear sea water too.
