Love this little cozy Hideaway a mile to the beach. Very quiet which I loved and close to local amenities being easily accessible by foot. The room was clean and having a small kitchenette really made it convenient I could prepare a meal here if needed. Only stayed two nights but would highly recommend longer stay. Loved it!

Google
Pros: Location - close to beach and walking distance to many great restaurants. Dog friendly Cons: Location - right by the 101 and train. And you hear everything from your neighbor rooms. Very noisy Room maintenance - some baseboard broken off, chips in the wall, ... Safety - as a solo traveler this is important to me. Most rooms are ground level, and I appreciate that you can open the windows, but there are no safety stoppers in place to avoid someone opening the window completely and just getting inside the room. Additionally the door does not have a door guard in conjunction with the regular lock. That is pretty much standard in any other place I stayed at. Staff seems nice but didn't really interact much. But overall would not stay again.

Google
Positive: There is no ocean view, but the location is good for us visiting relatives. It is quiet at night. Negative: The room key did not work for about 1.5 hours early one morning (6:30) so we had to wait outside to get it to open. There is no one on duty to help at that time. I would appreciate a lighter weight blanket with an extra in the closet for cold nights.

Google
My sister-in-law and I recently took a small vacation to the beach. Elaine had researched months ago for smaller places to stay nearest to the ocean. When she found the Leucadia Beach Inn, she knew this would be the place to stay.||When we got the key to our room and opened the door, you should have seen the complete joy on my “sister’s” face. We walked into a room that was clean, bright, and full of peace. It was a room that exactly met all of our desires.||Our stay at the Inn, although too short of a time, exceeded our expectations!!!!!||The Leucadia Beach Inn is a hidden gem. Big hotels can’t come close to providing a joyful, beautiful, and peaceful experience as your Inn has provided.||We look forward to our next vacation spent at the Leucadia Beach Inn.||We want to give the Leucadia Beach Inn 6 STARS instead of 5.

Love staying here with our family. It’s a short walk to the beach. Plenty of restaurants and things to do near by, if you’re not coming for the theme parks. The rooms are always clean, plenty of pillows blankets and towels. We arrived late and forgot to call to check in before 5PM. We were ok but won’t forget to do that again.

Google
Nice clean and cozy. More amenities that most nice hotels. Near the beach. Just be careful leaving out. You have to be aware of people (sidewalk) leaving out and it's hard to see traffic coming from the left. I was forced to commit after humans and cars were coming. This electric vehicle is faster than I thought! Almost smoked the tires. Point is....pull out with extreme caution.

Google
I thought this place was lovely. I had a spacious room. It was very clean and had everything I could hope for in it in terms of the small kitchenette and a comfortable bed. I had a lovely walk around the town as far as the beach and it is surrounded by good restaurants and a fabulous corner store, it was exactly what I needed to explore the area at a great price.

Google
Stayed here for the 3rd time and enjoyed as much as the last time. Small, quaint, and perfect location.

Allison H.

Yelp
Stayed here for our anniversary this year. Room was very very clean. Spanish tile on the floors. The heavy wood door was beautiful. The room felt like home. Bed was very comfy. Area was very quiet at night. We were surprised by this. Also, eating within walking distance. We will be back.

Yelp
I love this hidden gem and have stayed here a few times. Quiet, clean, great location. Cute property and I do love it here. The employees are super nice. I have to say, I was not too thrilled with the room we have this time. Super hot! Tiny air conditioner that was loud but barely cool. No ceiling fan in the room which would've helped tremendously! I did go to the office and they lent us a box fan. That made it bare able. Lastly, the bed was soft but felt and sounded like it was going to collapse. I hope they check it out and get a new one. I would stay again but make sure not to get that particular room again.

Linda R.

Yelp
Ok place. Very basic. Bed was comfortable . We got 2 small bottles of shampoo, no conditioner, towels and wash cloths thin and staff sometimes replaces them if you gather dirty ones up and put outside your door. Staff ok, you must be VERY QUIET after 8pm or condescending/rude guy will call you out. Even if you accidentally drop something or slam a car door. Not close to beach, you walk 4-5 blocks to get to an actual area that will take you to the water.

Apryl W.

Yelp
Location is amazing! You are right off the main highway by the ocean and we were able to get our event in Encinitas super fast! Parking was easy and right in front of our room and it's hard to get quality parking by any beach spots! One parking spot is included in your stay. Mark showed us around and made sure we were taken care of! The room was clean and the price was a great value! The size of the room was great because we didn't feel squished in at all. The next morning we walked next door for amazing coffee and breakfast. We really appreciated using the little kitchenette for having a snack the night before.

Alex L.

Yelp
Was here for two nights and the location is definitely 5-stars, the rooms are quaint, but cute with a nice kitchenette and the service is definitely 5-stars. So why the 3-star review? Well-the hot water heater wasn't working properly during my stay so really couldn't take a proper shower. Also to no fault of the hotel, the road was being paved while I was staying; they left a letter in the room, but I was out all day, so when I got back home...figuring out parking was a bit of a nightmare. All in all, I think this is a solid motel-y beach-y stay; I feel like I just got a bit unlucky with the specific circumstances. You'll probably do better than I did!

Kathi L.

Yelp
Cute, retro hotel with kitchenette - but small, cramped bathroom with no vanity space. Nice, thick towels, though. It is NOT a block from the beach, as the web site claims. There's a French bakery a block down the street to grab a coffee and nice pastry.

Susan S.

Yelp
Great little bungalow for a few days of R&R. The manager was warm and welcoming. I love the seats set out front of each room, so we can sit out and read. The set up makes me feel like I'm in the 1950's!

Peggy C.

Yelp
What a great place! Our room was on the 2nd floor in the back. It was perfect! King bed, kitchenette, small bathroom. This place is clean clean clean! Parking off the alley in the back had 5 spots, additional 4 spots out front with street parking if needed. Walking distance to Beacon's beach and great restaurants. The courtyard rooms look like a blast from the past. There're train tracks across the street for city commuters. Because of our room location, we hardly heard it. We didn't have our dogs with us but they're welcome here too. I can't wait to come back!

Jodie B.

Yelp
Such a cute little setup right by the beach! Right near a bunch of local businesses (coffee, food, post office, etc.) Would definitely recommend and plan on staying here again when I come down to visit family.

Crystal D.

Yelp
If your on a budget, I highly recommend this place. Very clean and tidy. We were coming from the NorCal, management Todd was very accommodating. We were able to check in 2 hrs earlier than normal check in. Walking distance to restaurants, grocery store and beach. The only reason I gave it a 4 star is because the parking was a bit tight and maybe add air freshener in the bathroom. Other than that, my family enjoyed staying at this inn.

Laurie A.

Yelp
We had THE best stay at the inn. We checked in early and got a tour of the property. Very personable and friendly staff. We felt right at home. Very clean rooms and beautiful property. The best part.... free parking right near your room. It was a very quiet property. Even though they were totally booked it was quiet and peaceful. Restaurants and fresh fruit and veggie mart within walking distance. Can't wait to visit again! Thank you for making our visit enjoyable.

Jason R.

Yelp
It's up to you, your money, but if you enjoy being insulted this is your place. First of all, I'm 73 years old and have been around the block a few times. I do want to make it clear, it was not Todd, he's very polite and appreciates your business. There are signs that say do not slam the door... the doors are about three inches thick and very heavy and I can see easy to slam. I was leaving my room, shut the door and was locking it, when, I believe it was Mark that that told me not to slam the door... I didn't. He preceded to lecture me about being considerate to other customers. I was raised being polite, raised my children to be polite and to respect their elders. We are frequent visitors to Leucadia as our daughter and her family live on Neptune Street. We learned our lesson. There are other choices, I suggest unless you don't mind being insulted, seek another hotel.

Jennifer O.

Yelp
Leucadia beach inn was the perfect place for a socially distant vacation. The rooms have a fridge, a stove, and a kitchen table. The manager was so friendly and helpful. The property is pretty. The bed was comfortable (though possibly smaller than advertised? I'm not sure). Also, the rooms are pet friendly. We were able to walk to the ocean in about 5 minutes. There are tons of good food options that are walkable. The only thing we didn't totally realize is that the beaches nearby aren't pet friendly...wah wah. Anyway, it wasn't the inn's fault. Also, it's located right next to a train line and we had some super loud trains go by in the night. Despite this, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Chelsy W.

Yelp
WOW!! One of the best boutique hotels I've ever experienced. Super Super clean, Full kitchen, super comfortable beds. Like the most awesome studio apt The area is killer and the hotel had great free parking I'm super bad with names Mike /Mark? Gave us an awesome tour and knowledge about the area!! Love will be back

Melissa B.

Yelp
We live in Ocean Beach and decided to do a staycation here and this place exceeded our expectations. Mark was super friendly and helpful. The place was stalked with dishwater, silverware, glasses, coffee cups, pot, pans and a cutting board. There is the most darling market next door to pick up goodies called Just Peachy. Beacon's beach is only a 5 minute walk and shops and restaurants are walking distance too. I highly recommend this place as we will be return guests!

Rochelle D.

Yelp
Loved our room. We had every breakfast and lunch in the room. Dinner once at Roxy and dinner once right next door at Taco place. Both great meals. Room was quite and clean. Mark was very accommodating and quickly got us things we wanted . Really appreciate that! Showed attention to my dogs which means alot to me . Love that there is a market within a minute walk. Safe and easy parking for my big truck ! Enjoyed ! Have 3 more bookings between now and May . Very affordable too! Oh and a great pet store down the street ! Pet Power

Yelp
We absolutely loved our stay here! What a gorgeous little inn. We stayed in the building to the side of the main building and loved it. My daughter said it looked like the house from Encanto and I totally agree. It's so pretty. Our room had a little kitchenette which was great when traveling with a little one and was pretty spacious. We were right on the street and unless we had the windows open we didn't hear much noise throughout the night so it does feel like the walls are pretty solid. The only reason for not giving 5 stars is the beds are creaky. Comfortable but noisy. And the pillows felt new and comfortable as well. All in all we will definitely stay here again and recommend if you're planning a trip to Leucadia!

Vikey W.

Yelp
I am only giving a three because of the train tracks across the street.. super noisy!!! The inn is family run and operated, it is quaint, clean and priced right for the area. Please know office hours are only from 9 am to 5 pm (not on the voicemail) . Also be aware if you have air on and decide to blow dry your hair, it blows the power !! Had to call for someone to flip circuit breaker.. STILL, would I stay again, ABSOLUTELY!! Love the old school, quiet (except for train) chill vibe!

Kim S.

Yelp
Wonderful location, beautiful buildings! This hotel was perfect for my daughter and her 3 girls, visiting from Chicago. I booked super-early, got a great rate. Very 'beachy' vibe, nice kitchenette, comfortable beds, quiet street, dog-friendly. The owner, Mark, was super-accomodating and informative. Free, close parking so you are STEPS from your room, was nice. 1/2 block from a little market, Just Peachy, 1/2 block from The Beach House, a wonderfully stocked souvenir shop. It's a little over a mile to Moonlight Beach, a quick drive or lovely walk. Its near downtown Encinitas, there are plenty of restaurants and shops to explore. Final bill had no surprises. I will definitely reserve it again, for more visitors. Only 4 stars becuz it had one tiny dresser, 4 hangers, in a suite with 2 queen beds. The girls' clothes were everywhere!

Anya J.

Yelp
Very clean, comfortable, and charming place near the beach. Prices are reasonable for this location. Beds were comfortable and parking was not a problem.

Brittany N.

Yelp
I loved my stay here!!! Mark was soooo accommodating throughout our whole stay! Clean and cute room which was walking distance to restaurants, wineries, and the beach! But also not far from other fun places to explore! Would highly recommend! Will definitely be back.

Kevin S.

Yelp
Feels so nostalgic Hollywood...clean quiet & friendly staff!Very nice location...walk to many choices of casual eatery...walk to beach!:)

Robert F.

Yelp
Great little place right by the beach. The owner was very friendly. Kitchenette is nice. Restaurants and stores all around. I really lucked out by finding this place.

Jiyu L.

Yelp
Cute and comfortable. 10 min walk to the beach and also short walking distance to a small grocery store and yummy organic taco shop. Service was friendly and helpful. Bed was comfortable and bath towels were soft and fluffy! I didn't try to use the stove but really glad they had a microwave and Keurig machine for coffee in the morning. Nice place to stay if you're surfing nearby.

heather h.

Yelp
Great price, great room, and mark was the nicest host! Definitely recommended for a getaway. Small little room, and you could the road noise, just need to make sure you shut the window if you're in the front room. Each room has an ac, space heater, coffee maker and kitchen necessities.

A.Rose M.

Yelp
I visited this little beach inn on a much needed mini vacation. Here are the deets. The Good 1. Affordable (during the right season) 2. Rustic but charming 3. Free (but tight) parking 4. Free WiFi 5. Friendly staff 7. Good location, close to the beach, food, and shopping. 8. TV had good selection of channels The Not Great 1. Front office closes at 6pm 2. Some furniture in my room was held together by shipping tape. 3. I had to crawl under the bed to retrieve the a/c chord then find a suitable plug to plug it in. It should always be plugged in and ready for guests. It was a huge hassle. 4. Tub and microwave weren't that clean and stained/rusty. Overall the good outweighed the bad and I enjoyed my stay once I got the room cooled down. This is a great place to stay if you are on a budget but still want something with beachy character. I would visit again. Easy and affordable fix: Instead of holding together broken furniture with tape, get something in good shape from Goodwill or IKEA. The guests will appreciate it and it will make for a more aesthetically pleasing stay. Also please consider not having loud a/c unit near the beds.

Jen W.

Yelp
Had to book a room last minute because there was a misunderstanding with the other hotel I had booked. I arrived at 8p & the front desk was closed but there is a after hour # you can call. Apparently the manager is on premise because she came out of a room when I was calling. Check in wasn't hard especially because it was last min & after hours. Arrived to room #17. Cute 2 bed, kitchenette, bathroom & TV. Room was clean, Spanish file floors. No complaints. Only problem is, our room was facing the street and the room has somewhat of a smell so we had the window open to air out but you hear EVERY traffic & train. Other reviews were right- no paper towels, cutting board or salt & pepper. Nice 40" flat screen tv but it didn't work. Wouldn't know about housekeeping because I only stayed for 1 night. Lots of gnats also in the bathroom. Parking wasn't a problem, either on the street or on the property. You get what you pay for. I would stay here again if other local hotels were booked.

Jane H.

Yelp
I travel every month to Encinitas from Northern CA for an ongoing appointment. Due to a COVID illness in the office (out of my control 100%), my appointment was rescheduled. I haven't stayed here before but was hoping this would be a place I can rely on each month for lodging. I tried to contact them the day before my stay, eventually they refused to give me a refund for my booking or to even credit me for a stay for next time & now I'm out money in these challenging times. This treatment is not in line with my values and ethics, and I recommend looking elsewhere.

Cheryl R.

Yelp
Great place to stay on nights when special events are near by. I came out for the San Diego Botanical Garden Festival of Lights. (Dec 2018) I'm somewhat local (Mt Helix/Rancho San Diego) but cannot drive at night due to vision issues. Leucadia Beach Inn was the perfect place to crash until morning. The only reason I'm not rating it a 5 is so others don't expect "The Ritz Carlton." With that being said; the property is very clean, easy access to all things in the Del Mar, Solana Beach, Cardiff by the Sea & Encinitas areas. Bonus features: the Kitchenette and affordable price. I was concerned about the Amtrak train... but I didn't hear it after 11pm. (Thanks Amtrak!) and the Mattress was hard or maybe needed a box spring?... (I'm a camper so I could deal with those.) This is my new Staycation Location for sure! Thanks Todd for the great late check in arrangements. You all Rock! Merry Christmas & Happy 2019!

Heather T.

Yelp
So cute! We had a great time. Lots of greats restaurants and shops nearby and beautiful beaches.

Lori L.

Yelp
Just what I expected.....quaint little motel. Beach bungalow style. Our room was upstairs. Clean and comfortable. Nothing fancy but very cute. The Coaster train is right across the street and goes by several times a day. The up side to that is that it doesn't run at night while you're sleeping. Very quiet at night here which is what we were looking for. Several awesome restaurants within walking distance!! If you're looking to stay somewhere where the tourists aren't, this is the place. Mostly locals around here. Office managers are friendly and very accommodating. We enjoyed our stay so much!!

L W.

Yelp
Cute, quaint place. Nice little kitchen. Walking distance to beach. Manager Todd seems like a good guy. Manager Marc, who lives there, is quite rude!

Chris G.

Yelp
I was pleasantly surprised with this quaint little lodge. It's clean, no thrills but has a small kitchenette, which is always handy. I don't know what all the rooms are like, but my room downstairs #7. was nice. Walking distance to the restaurants & only a 10 minutes up a small hill to the beach. My only problem was, I couldn't get the TV to work & nobody was around to ask, as the front desk closes at 5pm & it wasn't an emergency to call the number on the door. I will be coming back soon. Receptionist Karen was nice.

Dewy H.

Yelp
Our recent stay here was an absolute treat, with thanks to Mark, who treated us with friendly professionalism and humor. This is a fun, cheerful and very clean place to stay with a convenient location and THE FINEST TOWELS we've ever had at a motel. (No, we didn't steal any) Room 5 was bright, well equipped and quiet, being away from the frontage road. Parking was a bit challenging but very manageable and convenient. Given the amenities, you can do light cooking and dining in your room and complementary coffee is provided via In-room brewer. The bed was comfortable, storage adequate but limited in the small bathroom with a large shower. The price was very fair for all this little gem offers and when we swapped notes with others (at a wedding) who stayed in the area, we clearly made the optimal choice by staying here. Suggest you do likewise. We hope to come stay again.

Diane C.

Yelp
Charming place~ Beach side~very clean and very friendly staff. Affordable and location location location is ideal. I left off 1 star due to the mattress on the bed.... needs to be replaced, i did not have a good nights sleep because of it.....it is a taco mattress. :) I do recommend this place so long as room 12 gets a new mattress.

Maria P.

Yelp
ONE WORD: AMAZING. This place was definitely compact as parking was tight on the front and back side of the building. I definitely found the place to be beautiful but simple. It looked like a fairytale when my lover and I stumbled upon this place! When we first checked in, the front desk representative was super nice and first took us to a tour around the room. Afterwards, the room had a nice comfy bed with a small but nice bathroom. Everything was clean, including the mini kitchen on the side. It even had pots on drawers; I was able to boil tap water and drink it cold after. Overall, my experience was amazing. I would come back again anytime. Only downside was that there was no water besides tap water.

Zach L.

Yelp
Beautiful, family run inn with history and charm. The employees are friendly and accommodating in an honest way that makes you feel at home. Sitting in my room now after a long day of work, it feels very fresh and clean, delightfully sanitized. All of the windows were left open to bring in that I intoxicating sea air. I can think of too many recents stays at other venues within this price range that have left me feeling uneasy the majority of my stay, skin crawling with earplugs in to drown out the hellish noise from the room next door. Always look forward to staying here and I'm sure you would too.

Helene C.

Yelp
When we didn't arrive on time they called to make after hour arrangements. Much appreciated. Our room is gorgeous - lovely kitchenette, decor. I want to stay forever or at least decorate my own home like this room. Outside I can't get enough of the lounge chairs and water fountains. Off street parking. Pretty courtyard. Great kitchenette w/medium sized refrigerator (extra large dorm size?). No complaints at all. Will DEFINITELY stay again. Have already recommended to several friends. I highly recommend relaxing here. Took a pretty photo outside :).

Garrett G.

Yelp
We recently got married and booked the entire courtyard for our friends from out of town to stay at. Todd and Mark went above and beyond throughout the entire booking process and getting everyone situated. All our friends could say was how nice the managers at the Inn were. It's a great location if you are visiting, it's right on the 101, close to a bunch of great restaurants/shops and also right next to two amazing beaches(that's why we chose it for our friends). They are a local family run business and you won't be disappointed!

M B.

Yelp
This place is great. It's pretty awesome to have your own kitchenette and a small grocery store next door. The beach is a short walk up to Beacons where there is amazing sunsets, and beach access. You are walking distance from great fine dining and affordable restaurants, tap rooms, wine tasting bar, and some shopping. It's a quiet community too so no loud noises at night- very quiet. Leucadia Beach Inn-has some pretty chill people working for them. They offer genuine concern for your comfort and will help you with suggestions, solutions, and directions. It's also pet friendly(which was awesome).

Marilyn M.

Yelp
Dismal and dirty motel. Leucadia Beach Inn had a bottom sheet that was covered in black streaks and the bathroom had a large black hair stuck on the wall. During the Covid-19 pandemic I would not recommend staying here. Actually at any time it wouldn't be advisable. The room was also small and dismal. I left a day early because I felt it wasn't safe to stay here.

Ashley C.

Yelp
My wife and I had to vacate our property for 4 days with the cats. I chose this place because of the great reviews, pet friendliness and it's proximity to my workplace.m. When I got there, I immediately loved it. The grounds are beautiful and relaxing. The rooms are set up like little studios with nice double pane windows and shutters. The kitchen is complete with a fridge, microwave, stovetop and all the essentials for making your own meals (pots, pans, cutlery, plates, cups etc) and an area to eat together. The wardrobe was perfect and the pocket door saved space. It didn't feel like a hotel room at all. Perfect for a home away from home. It's right next to a local market and walkable to endless local food/drink places. It was fun strolling around Leucadia! And of course, it is right near the beach! Will definitively stay here again! Some may find it helpful to know- it is located near the train and that parking is limited (as we had two cars) but there was no problem finding a spot right next to the place!

Robert F.

Yelp
We "discovered" Encinitas 10 years ago. Leucadia seemed to me like "old 50's, 60's coastal PCH California", learned there was a sign entering from the north which read something like "Keep Leucadia funky". Leucadia Beach Inn catches that feel, vibe, but not in some grungy way but cute, charming, colorful, 1920's nostalgia; imagine, a century old! From the tiny parking area just large enough fir six cars parked outside your room, curved Spanish terra cotta eave over each doorway, subtle rock at the exterior corners breaking up the white stucco, potted plants, patio chairs, lounges, tables; rooms actually large with full kitchenette, nice blue pastel walls, nice bedspread, large swing arm mounted flat screen TV, tile floors, dog friendly. Very clean. And then the incongruity, awakening to find a brand soaking' new $300,000 Lamborghini Hurrican parked in front of a room. Lots of fantastic eating in Encinitas. And dog lovers: Cardiff State Park with mile long narrow strand beach , bookended with bluffs at each end, with sun bathed limitless ocean looking west.

Tim C.

Yelp
Loved this little inn. I always prefer to do business with locals/mom and pop style places and this fit the bill. Super cute rooms, the main space was lovely and it had just the right SoCal PCH vibe. The price was right too..99 dollars for a place like this next to the beach is pretty sweet. Great neighborhood too. Lots of great food/drinks. We went down the road every morning for coffee and bagels at the Pannikin. We shall be back!

Debbie P.

Yelp
Ok where do I start.... Sorta Positives. Close to the beach- but not super close like you wouldn't be walking every day with a handful of beach stuff. Cute character. The rooms have been somewhat remodeled but the thick doors and style of building makes you feel like you're not staying at a model 6 level hotel. It has a mini kitchenette- which we utilized-(More than most guests I imagined) Negatives. They give you a mini kitchenette but this is meant more for a road tripper who has brought a ton of stuff from home, not someone who has flown in. They give you the basic pots and pans, but no hotpad???? Seriously? We asked for one but then had none. Ok odd- how about a kitchen towel or some freaking paper towels? Giving someone soap to wash dishes is only helpful if we can dry them. Salt and pepper? Nope. Again that seems like a serious basic item they could have provided. The house keeping staff- they would not allow us to keep our bath towels- I wanted an extra one- one for my body one for my hair- but I was told no they could only give me a fresh one if I gave them one I already had. They did not clean our room the first day we were there and the next day when they did come clean the room the bed looked roughly made and we looked at each other and had to ask- did they clean our room? I asked for an extra pillow and blanket and it seemed like I was asking for a million dollars- you want what? Really? You're in the hospitality industry people. The room had no phone- that just seemed weird. The bed was just ok. Super soft. And there was one light over the kitchen and a very dim on on the nightstand for the whole room- other than the bathroom light. No blow dryer in the room. We had to ask for that too- which they did manage to muster up.

D Y.

Yelp
I'm not sure why I didn't write this sooner, but we stayed here last year (2016) for Labor Day weekend for a little mini-surf vacation. Our stay was wonderful! We were in Room 21 and our room was perfectly adorable! It had two queen beds a nice shower, kitchenette, and A/C. Our friends ditched us and got a campsite at San Elijo (I was so irritated), but later regretted it because it was HOT that weekend! The windows faced the back alley which was quiet for the most part. The hotel manager was a nice man. We arrived late and our keys were waiting for us. We walked over to the sake/sushi bar which was delicious and it was driving distance to a few of our favorite surf spots and an Uber ride away from town. They also allow dogs, but I didn't bring my fur baby with me that time. I would definitely stay here again!

Julie G.

Yelp
Believe it or not this quaint Inn used to be a dump. Since the new owners took it over they've done a fabulous job at remodeling making the entire grounds very special and appealing. Each room is uniquely styled with the idea that there really is a place away from home that feels just as cozy. It is a medium-priced inn featuring Spanish tile floors, modern tub baths, kitchenettes, color cable T.V. WiFi Internet connections are also available. All rooms are non-smoking but offer plush five-star linens and towels and shutters to match. This inn is only a few blocks to the beach and within walking distance to shops and restaurants. The service is warm and friendly. One of my favorite choices for putting up visiting guests. You can check out all of the rooms on the Web: http://www.leucadiabeachinn.org

Yelp
We can't wait to get back to this property! It was a great visit, comfortable, safe and clean. The managers are accessible and helpful, the grounds lovely and clean. We appreciated the tile floors and hose to deal with sand from the beach. I walked to the beach twice a day with ease. We brought our puppy and the management was very thoughtful about planning for his stay, too. Parking on site was easy, safe and free. Just Peachy, a market one minute north of the Inn, has fresh organic foods. Lazy Acres, a much larger market, is a 5-10 minute drive south. The room refrigerator worked perfectly, the linens were clean, and there were plenty of outlets. The only smallest negatives were the kitchen pots - I am picky about not using nonstick pans - and the water in the shower was tricky. However, the windows all open and I felt very safe in terms of Covid-19 transmission (ability to air out the room and mask-wearing by staff as well as excellent compliance with safety procedures on site). Truly, a great place to stay.

Yelp
The inn itself was nice an had a small beach inn feel. The location is not walking distance from a nice beach to swim or lay out, just somewhat close to surfing areas. The managers and office staff are less than friendly. First impressions mean a lot. It was quiet mostly, but you can hear your neighbors and their every move if someone is staying upstairs. One day we dropped by to get ready to go to the beach after being out for brunch to find zero parking. When I approached the office about this concern I was told "Well one of the vehicles is mine and since I'm the manager I can park wherever I want." Wow. Really. Ok then maybe you should have your own assigned parking if you are so important bro.
