Amazing! Really impressed with the quality and presentation of each meal. Affordable food serving large portions. Great ambience, clean and well presented. Includes wholesome and delicious vegan friendly options that's not just a 'salad'! 🤦🏽‍♀️ Highly recommend.

I really enjoy this dinner in Blue Mountain tonight! The restaurant cook the lamb amazing good! We selected the Point65 red wine to match our food which is delicious! Specially appreciated their nice service when my friend ask something about the food materials which I don’t think she couldn’t have right answer , but I am wrong! The waiter girl even ask the chef to get the right one, it is awesome service I have to say! 👍

Visited for a quick afternoon snack with the family. Just had burger, some fries and drinks. Veggie burger was tasty and fries were thin and crispy. Service was reasonably quick too. My only criticism is that the prices are on the high side for a casual, cafe style venue.

We have visited Leura Garage 3 times in as many days. They have flexible opening hours which is so handy when you’re desperate for a post hike coffee - and their coffee is sublime - sourced from local roasters, so smooth and perfectly made. We initially stopped for coffee and cake, but came back for dinner - the sausage and crusted Barramundi were delicious!! So many great locally sourced options for food and drinks! Great atmosphere, ambiance and service. Highlight though was the sticky date… we had it twice… warm, gooey, perfect and one of the best Sticky Date Puddings I have ever had. Ever. Will be back!!

A rustic looking restaurant with modern Western style menu items. The staff is friendly and accommodating to our big group of 10 people. Recommend to book in advance, especially during weekend as we entered 10 mins before they open and there were already a queue at the front door. We’ve got to try most of the items from their regular and seasonal specials as well. Most dishes were delicious and well presented with generous portions. Coffee is just average. I really like the little details that they have as a decoration piece, such as a meat cutter, bicycle, traditional bell, etc. It came to a total of $450ish for a group of ten (including drinks and coffee) and we were pleasantly happy with the experience.

Sydney trip - Blue Mountains over the weekend: after some hiking, we went for lunch in Leura at @leuragarage. . The food was pretty decent. But the service was super slow. We waited more than 45 minutes for our food from the time of ordering. The table next to us actually just got up and left because their food took too long as well. Also, we noted some tables who ordered after us actually got their food before us 🤷🤷. . Southern Style Chicken Burger: the burger was pretty nice. The chicken was crispy, and the inside was tender. Good flavours. The cole slaw that came with it was a bit bland though. . Pan-seared Barramundi, with walnut jalapeño crust, caramelised pumpkin wedge, tahini lemon dressing: excellent dish! Very tender. Delicious crust 🤤. . Polenta chips: this was superb! Very crunchy 😋. . Broccolini: nicely done. Can't go wrong with this side dish.

Disappointed with our Sunday lunch meal at Leura Garage. 4 of us ordered a mix of burgers and salads. We were sitting outside which is a nice setting close to a quiet road. Burger didn't come with fries which for the price seems wrong. Fries or polenta chips need to be ordered separately. Burger was a little bland. Salad was tasty but again small for the price charged. Menu is on the limited side with not a lot of options. Service and staff were great and very friendly.

Google
Good selection of food for individual plates or sharing. Portions are very generous and also super tasty,I had the chicken and my friend had the sausage and both were very fresh and delicious. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and there's seating options both inside and outside. Pretty decent cocktail and wine list. Both the cocktails we had were well made and I'd highly recommend treating yourself.

Yelp
So quaint in the little town of Leura. Just mins walk from the train station that takes you to Three sisters and the Blue Mountains. Service was very OZ. Cheerful and campy. Pizza was expensive, but very tasty. Atmosphere was eclectic and charming.

Yelp
This is an amazing place - I came here for lunch after visiting the Blue Mountains and got here just in time before people started getting told that they would have to wait to get a seat. Service was fast, although we had to wait a little for the food to arrive. I love that the food arrived at the same time, and they looked spectacular. I would personally highly recommend the Calamari and the Sausages, but saw a lot of people having the pizza as well. All in all a fantastic meal and I'm leaving satisified

Yelp
"The longest I've waited for the worse meal I've eaten". Bravo Leura Garage, you have managed to take 1.5 hours to make 2 pasta dishes...and to put insult to injury, the pasta was awful. We dined at Leura Garage at 7:00pm on a Friday night. We arrived before the rush, placed our order and waited. And waited. We got our entrees in about 30 minutes, that's ok - the restaurant was starting to fill up. The olives were really nice and the calamari, was just above average, but not that great. They didn't seem to be cooked long enough and were quite soggy from oil. We sat longer, enjoying our conversation. After *more than 1 hour*, we grew tired of waiting and asked one of the wait staff "how much longer our mains would be... as we have been waiting one and a half hours?" She said we are busy but she'll find out. All this time our entrees plates are sitting in front of us (I mention this because it was another 20-25 minutes before someone decided it would be nice to clear them away). She comes back and says "it'll be ten more minutes, and you've only been waiting one hour and ten minutes...we've been keeping track". Excuse me? What was that? Well maybe it took you 20 minutes to take our order?! Since when it is even remotely ok to correct a customer when it's been over an hour?! We sat there, annoyed, because hey... Even if they had completely forgotten about our order, it should take them ten minutes to cook pasta...right... right?? (sigh, no). Whilst we waited we naturally began to observe the rest of the tables all looking around anxiously for their meals. We overheard the frustration of the couple sitting next to us as they were waiting for their share Beef Pie and we're also fed up of waiting. They tried to change their order to get some food quicker... But were told it's coming. When theirs arrived it was a disappointing liquid mess. It was "more a beef soup than a pie" (said the man)... I was quietly shocked and worried what our food would be like. At this point anger and annoyance has just converted into defeated amusement. The manager must have noticed our situation / faces and said she'd take 10% off the bill. That was a good thing, but to be honest, we would have walked out then and there if we hadn't alreadywaited so long (and had a quite fear that nothing else in the region would be open). We just wanted our food! The couple next to us got up, joked to us "good luck, hope it's worth it in the end" (as theirs clearly wasn't), and we looked at the watery dish they left and felt woe. When our pastas finally came out my Ragu one was average at best, but a far sight better than the bland crab linguine my wife received. There is a concept in cooking pasta where you add a little bit of the pasta water into the dish to help bring it all together. This dish had so much pasta water it had lost all flavour. It tasted "like wet flour". I ate a few forkfuls of her frozen seafood, having generously given up my average Ragu like a true gentleman. If you want to see the dishes you can check out the photos. When we got up to pay, the staff cared very little about our experience, and halfheartedly told us "sorry... but it's just that when we are full, we only have a small kitchen". What? WHAT?! You cannot infere to a customer that has had this awful experience that "Tough" is reason. It's a Friday night! of course you'll be busy. You take bookings. I don't think it's remotely acceptable to say that to a customer. Reduce your tables if your kitchen can't cope. I walked out having paid $88 (after the discount) for what was a horrible meal, that took over 2 hours and left me completely unsatisfied. It's so disappointing to have to write something like this, but seriously I felt so angry leaving there, after what was said that I felt that people need to be warned. Congratulations on one thing though... You've managed to prompt me to return to reviewing on Yelp. Yay. (Trust me, I don't normally write negative reviews like this unless they are warranted). Now... perhaps other nights (and times) this place is fine, but the lousy way you handled the unacceptable delays was the issue. I won't be coming back for a meal any time soon. Positive notes: The olives were good, takeaway coffees during the day are good.

Yelp
Food is pretty good and has a cool clean modern style to the restaurant itself. It obviously has a mechanic garage theme with things like mufflers over the wine rack, etc. the bathrooms are clean and the sinks are coed and modern just outside the toilet area. They also sell some goods like canned olives and other items. This was our lunch we got as part of a tour between Sydney and the Blue Mountains and it was a solid lunch.

Yelp
On the day we arrived at Leura Garage, it was full house. There was a queue and we decided to give this restaurant a try. (Actually, I wanted to find a warm place to stay out of the cold wind) As the name suggests, it is a restaurant inside a garage, which is interesting decor. However, due to the huge crowd, service was slightly slow, it was noisy and not a place to have a conversation without worrying about the next table hearing everything you said. The tables were very close to each other. An interesting thing was the kitchen was open for everybody to see and I saw the chef plucking fresh herbs from a pot and dumping it onto the food that he was cooking. Hmm... "Don't the herbs have to be rinsed with water to remove any dust or soil?", I thought to myself. Anyway, I'm not a chef so I am not sure of the right way. I would suggest folks to head to the Garage during non-peak hours to truly enjoy it.

Yelp
Overpriced garbage!!!! $23 pulled pork sandwich. No salad, no soup, no fries. ZERO sides! bready bun with meat not even covering the size of the bun. I have never been charged more for something so less!

Yelp
Stopped for an afternoon break after a hot day of sight seeing. A cold Badlands Ale hit the spot. We shared a pizza, the best I've had in a long time. Their special that day was the vegetarian. All the others looked good too. Helpful staff too.

Tristan C.

Yelp
A friendly, modern restaurant with a surprisingly large range of drinks and meal options. As a "tapas-style" restaurant there is an emphasis on share plates and ordering to share, however I dined alone and was completely satisfied with the experience. I ordered one of their pizzas (Trunkey Creek pizza) and was impressed. This restaurant also engages in the highly desirable practice of greeting you with iced water as soon as you sit down.

Yelp
Good fresh pizza on a homemade base, seafood paella to share, decent wine list, friendly service. Buzzy atmosphere is buzzy enough that outdoor tables are a good idea (they have heaters and blankets if it gets cold)

Armin H.

Yelp
Nice location in a former car garage. Nice and friendly staff. The food is excellent!

Daniel C.

Yelp
Great atmosphere, the food was excellent. Seafood board and the capellini and the marlin special where all standouts. Along with the homemade gelato. Service was great, slightly slow but they where extremely busy and it's not like we are in a rush. Recommended for something a little new and different in Leura.

Yelp
If you're from the States and looking for a reasonable (for Australia) "Napa Valley" type dining experience, then look no further. Leura Garage is a sweet little hipster foodie palace with a prominent Main Street location in Leura in the Blue Mountains. Our group enjoyed several items, but the one I most enjoyed was the grilled steak sandwich. Perfectly cooked and filled with oozy delicious goodness. It was a gorgeous day, so we sat outside, but the interior is so cute, I wish we sat inside. Learn from my mistakes - sit inside and enjoy the fun, funky interior alng with a pleasant lunch.

Yelp
Very good food, very good service, not bey good weather. Thankfully I had very good and warm food to take the cold out of my mind. I would definitely come back here. To bad where it's located is cold. :)

Yelp
Thoroughly enjoyed the mac and cheese many moons ago however, disappointed to return and find they no longer sell this delicacy. Not a happy jan!

Yelp
I have to say this review is based on drinks only.... I walked by this place while strolling / shopping in Leura and immediately liked it. It's an old auto-mechanic shop, and they kept the feel of the place, so the garage doors are still there, the car lifts are in place, but they managed to do that and turn it into a cool, trendy but classy restaurant. We stopped by around 5, so saw the early diners, but we opted for a drink. I had a glass of a Blue Mountain dry riesling (surprisingly delicious, and unusual!) that the waitress recommended, and my companion had a capuccino. We both enjoyed our drinks while relaxing in the ambiance. Watching the care that was put into preparing the food, I would definitely return for dinner.

Yelp
Don't let the name fool you - the garage has VERY nice food, ambiance, and excellent service. This is definitely where you want to have a nice dinner and a glass of wine with friends. If beer & wine is not your style, definitely give the hillbilly pear cider a try - this perfectly (but not too) sweet drink is just for you. And it comes in a big ol frosty glass. The steak, as well as the fish & fries got high marks, and they make a solid mac & cheese. The word is out though, so call ahead to make sure you get a seat.

Yelp
Extremely overpriced and bland food. Service not good, received food before drinks and cutlery. Pretty disappointing really.

Renny W.

Yelp
Concept and decor really cool. Service was slow but when it happened was friendly and attentive. The food (at least my pizza) was dry and boring. The risotto (I am told) is delicious.

Yelp
Dined here a couple of times and occasionally grabbed coffee on the way past. Amazing looking place inside with a unique and well-implemented theme (I remember 5 years ago when it was an actual garage). The wine is stored high up on the original hydraulic lift and it looks awesome. When we ate here the food was nice, though for what we paid the first time, we were a bit "meh, that was alright". The staff are always friendly and talkative, but service seems to be very hit-and-miss; on two separate occasions I waited 10-15 mins for a takeaway coffee with only a few other customers in the place. Free Wi-Fi only slightly makes up for this.

Yelp
Despite the 3 star rating we decided to dine for dinner. No regrets!! We ordered the chef sampling and it did not disappoint. Everything was phenomenal- olives with AMAZING bread sticks, beet and mozz salad, lamb shoulder with greens ending with an apple coconut cobbler. You can't beat the price and the atmosphere makes the experience all around 5 stars! Only negative thing was the flies outside, so we moved inside. Happy Traveling Americans!!

Yelp
Uninteresting, overpriced food in a muddled setting. Venue: The venue came across as confused more than anything else. Ostensibly going for a combined industrial / car garage theme, the effect is diminished somewhat by the ambient Spanish tunes playing in the background and the bottles of wine adorning the walls. Garishly lit (but not offensively so) and packing in as many tables as possible in the somewhat cramped space, quick customer turn around is clearly the name of the game. Food: We ordered the vege tempura and wagyu meatballs to start. Unfortunately both dishes were disappointing. For one thing, the vege tempura should be renamed 'broccoli tempura' as it literally contained nothing else. The meatballs were bland and doughy. The pork ribs were an improvement but certainly nothing to write home about. Finally, the seafood paella came sans mussels which had run out despite it only being 7.30pm and included what appeared to be slices of canned corned beef. We didn't bother with dessert. On the plus side, the wine selection was better than expected and reasonably priced. Service: We had to request menus about five minutes after being seated and were not advised of the specials (we only found out about these by eavesdropping on an adjacent table). The service was otherwise good and the food came out pretty quickly which was appreciated. Overall: Given its quality and the general vibe of the restaurant, we felt the food was overpriced. In fact, we couldn't think of a recent meal that was less value for money.

Yelp
Food OK. Waitresses lovely but older guy is rude and unprofessional - second time in a row. Won't be back.

Yelp
I love this place! The mountains have long needed a combined cafe-restaurant where one can enjoy either breakfast, just a quick coffee, light lunch, a quick drink after work or a leisurely dinner - whatever takes your fancy. The music and mood are cruisey and sophisticated, the wines local and the food seasonal. The little pastries are made on site and their small size (just a bite or two) makes them a perfect treat. So many cafes make coffee and a cake a meal, not a treat. The pizzas are sensational and the best I have had outside of Leichhardt. The tapas-style options are great for sharing and now they do breakfast as well! My only gripe would be that there could be more vegetarian options in the tapas and that they could change them a little more regularly. I eat there several times a week and it's nice to have changing choices. Oh, and the kids meals could have some salad on them. The coffees are some of the best in Leura and the desserts to die for. I sometimes hear complaints about the service, and I do wish the good staff would stick around a little longer, just as you get to know your favourites they are gone. It's a great place to pop into any time of the day and the eco-cred makes a nice blend with the eco-homewares store next door. You can buy the sensational olive oil and salad dressing the Garage uses there too.

Ray C.

Yelp
My wife and I went there based on Trip Advisor. Great ambience and friendly service. Sangria was very good. The pizza was delicious, but paella was way too salty. It should have never left the kitchen! In addition they added a 1.5% surcharge to our credit card (we were informed prior to the charge). For a higher-end restaurant we expected better, hence our 3 star review.

Shauna D.

Yelp
pretty good food. good vibe and atmosphere. a bit busy at lunch, but staff is great. had the meatballs, polenta chips, prosciutto pizza and the mushroom ragu--all real good.

Dayne C.

Yelp
Nice place but to squished in and well over priced for what you got if you didn't order pizza. They don't reserve tables just put you down on a waiting list so not a real confirmation on a table
