The food is not very compatible to my taste but it is tasty, we finished everything , service and atmosphere are excellent notably. We were also given soup for free as a warm welcome.

Creative presentation. A little slow on service when it is full. Outside seating could be better.

Must Visit! Everything about L'eveil is wonderful. The food is amazing, the atmosphere is lovely, and the service is charmingly attentive. We had the set lunch, three dishes for 27,and it really 8s five because you also get a soup at the start, abs a strawberry mousse at the end for free! The fried fish and duck breath were yummy. We had a vegetarian, and they made a special off menu dish which was great. The dessert with the set lunch was so big, it took two people to finish it!

Excellent taste and composition of meat, sauce and sides. Highly recommend restaurant in Strasbourg. Please make sure to make a reservation for lunch and dinner. The lunch menu (starter, main and dessert) costs 30€ in January 2024. Staff and service are friendly and attentive. Interior design is traditional with many wood pieces.

Amazing! Late Sunday lunch. No reservations but they got us in. Wait staff very attentive and friendly. The food was amazing. I had Monkfish cheek and wife had Veal. Both were delicious. It was kind of expensive but well worth the experience. Highly recommended!!

Service also very good, the waiters are very kind and really professional! We ordered menu of the day and it was very tasty. The decorations of restaurant are very beautiful, they have very nice flower every time, it’s look very beautiful! Also I recommend to reserve table in advance, because when we was here, the restaurant was full, because it’s very good place! We’ll come back 100%! Thank you very much, now I know where I can find the best service, the most tasty food and beautiful restaurant.

I recommend this restaurant. During lunch they have a menu with a variety of different dishes you can choose. The taste of the dishes are all very good. Their dishes has a modern and fusion touch. For appetizer I had a dish with cold fish and apple gazpacho, which was very delicious. My main dish was veal, which was very tender. The sauce was a dream. The restaurant interior is very nice and clean but a bit closely.

Yelp
We made an excellent choice of a restaurant after reading a review. Fortunately we were able to eat there even though we had no booking. The service was impeccable. Many questions were asked about the food and wine before choosing items from the menu and all were answered promptly and as we discovered, accurate. My wife is a coeliac and is very determined to get food that is gluten free. She ordered the veal whereas I opted for the duck. My entree was cod (uncooked and cold) presented in Japanese style but with a thick and creamy fish soup. We were also served a complementary potage. The food was outstanding and was presented with much thought given to how it was plated. The menu is small and you can order a two or three course meal. It was not expensive, about 40 Euros per person. Service was incredibly good. We were so fortunate to choose this restaurant. An ideal way to begin our Strasbourg stay

Yelp

Yelp
Negatives: 1. The special teas were not tasty and the waiter didn't ask what size we wanted and just brought the most expensive size that was €6,80 per glass. 2. And the restaurant did not have a WiFi. 3. The waiter was rude and unwelcoming. We wanted to share an appetizer, and the waiter told us the dish was not to be shared, it was "too complicated." We also sat down facing the street, and the waiter asked us to sit facing each other. He didn't know at that time that we were waiting for the third person, but his remark was extremely rude. 4. The service is slow for all people around us. Positives: The food looked nice and the location is pretty.

Yelp
L'Eveil des Sens is an excellent restaurant located on the edge of the Petite France area of Strasbourg. The menu is quite interesting and offers a good selections of entres and main courses. Our dishes were very nicely prepared and well presented. We shared a desert and it was perfect. Reservations are highly recommended.

Yelp
We stopped outside this strange new age- name-notreallystylish-looking restau when we were on the search of a place to have lunch. The "formule déjeuner " caught our attention so we decided to ask for a table. We were lucky to get their last table outside in the sun, baby stroller next to the table. The food was delicious and the staff was friendly and helpful. The outdoor area was very nicely decorated with trees and flowers.

Yelp
L'Eveil des Sens caught my eye while looking for restaurants that went beyond the usual Alsatian staples that are so common in Strasbourg (mind you, I love those staples too, but wanted something more creative this night). It is a cozy restaurant at the corner of rue des Dentelles and rue Escarpée in the la Petite France part of the city. Inside we found traditional architecture and a welcoming atmosphere, and luckily a free table. There are also tables outside for people-watching in good weather. The menu is small but very creative and exceptionally well executed. I started with a terrine of impeccably fresh vegetables, and followed that with perfectly cooked iberian pork with a compote that was like thickened honey. Delicious! If you want dessert, make sure you order it at the start. You won't get another chance. That was the only thing that I wish they did differently.

Yelp
My daughter and I enjoyed the lunch of the day, a 3 course meal, which was reasonably priced with a choice of pork or lamb for the main course. The ambience was friendly and warm on a cold and blustery day. The glass of Rhone wine was especially nice. There are many good choices in Strasbourg. This one was perfect today.

Yelp
On a cold, rainy night, we arrived. Despite not having a reservation, we were whisked to a table and plied with delicious food. I had braised beef cheeks (Noix de joue de bœuf braisée), which were tender and delicious, and served with a skewer of potatoes and dried fruits (sounds odd, tastes good). Dessert was a tarte tatin, full of fruity goodness. I'm having a hard time remembering what my dining companion ate, but I recall an appetizer involving fresh and flavorful vegetables, formed into a terrine sort of arrangement. As well as wonderful food, the restaurant offers terrific service. I speak virtually no French, but the waitstaff nevertheless made sure that all of our needs were met and exceeded. This place is everything you hope for from a restaurant: warm, cozy, welcoming... and delicious!

Yelp
After getting inexplicably lost in a small town on our way to this restaurant, we were greeted with much warmth from the charming and elegant owner. I can't remember what we had for an appetizer, but it was very good. The veal tartare (a staple on every French menu) made the experience feel like it was my first. A delicious addition of dill and fennel made it an unlikely but perfect pair with the slightly off-dry Alsacian Riesling recommended by the owner. The pork filet mignon was excellent and got along equally swimmingly with the Riesling. I highly recommend this fresh, modern alternative to the very traditional restaurants in the Petite France area.
