Levin Iglut Glass Igloos

Very beautiful place with dreamy glass igloos and we had fun time. But to be honest, the price isn't worth it. There are other hotels with the same kind of concept and lower or similar prices, but with higher expectations and better service, and also usually offer fun activities within that price range. We had dinner there, and it was actually amazing. My suggestion is to go just for dinner, not to stay overnight.

We stayed two nights in a Prime Superior Igloo (#4) for €2,266. The view can be lovely, particularly if you’re fortunate enough to catch the Aurora. Check-in was scheduled for 3pm, though the room was only ready at 4pm. The check-in process was largely self-completed, which felt a little unusual as most hotels we stayed at handled this for us. Service was professional throughout, though it felt somewhat impersonal rather than warm or genuinely engaging. The minibar was empty, and we found the shower temperature difficult to regulate, it was either very hot or very cold when the water in the boiler ran out. Bathroom slippers were provided but of rather basic quality and not immediately obvious. While the glass igloo experience is pleasant, it may not feel as impressive as expected for the price point. Overall, it’s not that the stay was poor, but it did not feel like good value for the amount paid. We also overheard that even a short 30-minute checkout extension for a sick child could not be accommodated, which reinforced the sense of rigidity rather than flexibility. That said, if your main priority is staying in a glass igloo, this property does provide that experience—just with expectations aligned to what is offered relative to its premium pricing.

We had a wonderful stay at Golden Navy Finland. The igloos were beautiful (we stayed in iglus #20 and #21) , cozy, and absolutely worth the money. The staff were very cheerful and welcoming, which made the experience even better. We also loved the cute souvenirs—they were such a nice touch and made for great memories to take home. One small remark (not a complaint at all) is that the hot water heater turns off after about 15 minutes and needs some time to heat up again. It wasn’t a big issue, but a slightly longer duration would make it even more comfortable , for the amount of money paid this minor issue should be upgraded. Unfortunately, we didn’t get to see the Northern Lights during our stay, but the overall experience was still amazing. We truly loved our time there and would definitely recommend it to others.

Room = beautiful! Views = amazing. Service = adequate. Restaurant = disappointment. The rooms at Levin were amazing, but unfortunately our stay was diminished by the restaurant and staff. To eat dinner at the hotel, you MUST have a reservation. If you don’t, your only options are to cook your own sausage over the fire or get a $50 ride back into town (one way). I’ve never stayed at a hotel in my life that did not provide some kind of dining option for guests, regardless of reservation. In addition, the restaurant is “fine dining” which is annoying and unnecessary. We asked if just some fries were available as a snack and were offered $100 caviar instead. Give me some comfort cooking after a freezing day of adventure. Not a meal designed for influencers to post about. It’s an unfortunate lost opportunity to provide a real, local, comfortable experience. Stay here if you want to be with social media influencers pretending to have money. Look elsewhere for something more authentic.

The chef Carolina takes extra care for Vegans and Vegetarians. Every night I had something spectacular, varied, and special every night. Its not often a vegan can be treated with the tastes of a talented chef, but here, a vegan will be treated! Thank you to the great staff and Carolina for the unbelievably delicious and high caliber food!

I recently stayed in one of the suite igloos for my partner's 50th birthday surprise and it was truly an unforgettable vacation. I had a great deal of organising to do as my travel plans kept changing due to difficulties with flight transfers with it being off-season, and Reeta was extremely accommodating throughout the process. With it being such a special occasion, I had a number of particular requests, which required precision and attention to detail; none of this was any problem to the staff, and they were extremely friendly, accomodating, and professional. I was recommended a number of trips which I took with Soma Adventures, which exceeded expectations, and the igloo was well-stocked, beautifully clean, and incredibly comfortable. The location was amazing, and the jacuzzi sublime. I struggle with a number of health conditions, and rather than being made to feel like a burden, the staff were compassionate and reassuring, even assisting me with last minute changes to help me enjoy breakfast and head out on an excursion with blueberry juice so I could take my medication. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this haven of tranquility, and hope to return soon! Thank you very much!

Expensive but worth every cent. The igloos are super warm and insulated, clean and well decorated. The shower is hot and I liked that it didn’t operate on a timer like some of the other igloo hotels. Breakfast was simple but yummy, dinner was more elevated and quite enjoyable too (we had low expectations after reading some of the reviews, but food and service were good!). Loved the private sauna, but would have preferred if it came with a cold plunge pool. I would have enjoyed my time here even if we didn’t see the aurora, but we did, and that made our time here unforgettable.

One of the most incredible nights of my life. The reception staff was nice and friendly, and the room was a decent size. There aren't lots of options in the restaurant but that was not a problem for us, we just drove to Levi center and had dinner there instead. I turned on the aurora alerts and we were blessed with a wonderful night. Clear skies and nonstop auroras. My biggest complaint (but wasn't really enough to rip off my experience) is that other hotel guests can just leave their lights on even though they are out on a tour or something. The hotel said they couldn't do anything about it, which I understand but kind of sucked as their kitchen light was directed straight at us. Anyway, as you can see from our pictures it was all still beautiful and amazing. Also lovely to see the lights from the inside, nice and warm, and not outside freezing chasing auroras!
