Levi’s Store

I’ve always had great experiences shopping at this store, which is why this visit surprised me. I went to the store to pick up a pair of jeans that I had sent in for repair. Unfortunately, the employee who helped me spoke to me in a very rude and unfriendly way, which I have never experienced at this location before. However, I do want to mention that another employee at the store has always been very helpful and kind during my previous visits. That’s why this interaction felt very different from the service I usually receive here.

We bought a Jean jacket and had it custom embroidered at the store in San Francisco. This is a 5-star review for Lisa Marie, one of the seamstresses in their department. She had such wonderful customer service that I felt compelled to write a review. She was so understanding of my daughter, full of creative suggestions on the design, and then she just did GORGEOUS work to make the final product. Strangers stop us to comment on the beauty of the jacket. I am so grateful for the work of Lisa Marie, and I would encourage folks going to the store to ask for her! Thank you for making my daughter’s birthday so special.

Is this why downtown retail is failing? What a sloppy experience. - I was passed through 3 employees in 5 mins trying to find a specific jean type - asked one what a wedgie Jean was (their label) and she giggled and said she didn’t know - dressing rooms are minuscule, no room to put all the folded jeans AND sit to try them - nobody came to check on me or offer additional sizes. I’m a local and I love to shop. I won’t be back here.

when I walked in this store I was impressed by the layout and the customization department. Love it. After buying the basic jeans or jeans jacket you can take take it the their custom tailor department and add all kinds of cool stuff like names, message, icons, logos, even different color patches and everything in between to your new clothes. It isn’t cheap but if you have the $$ and time check it out.

HOW TO DECEIVE A CLIENT ! 60% sales ON but organized in a way that when you go to the cashier, you figure out out that you have to pay full price. 60% off written everywhere, but a lie… Worst experience. When you try to pay, you have a long slow line because ONLY one employee… Photos: none of these were on sale…😳and only one employee attending Unfriendly employees, not keen to help.

The employees at this Levi’s flagship store have always been super helpful and friendly. If the store doesn’t have a size, the employees will proactively offer to have the item shipped to you for free! They can also match online discount at the store. This store also offers free hemming if you buy/pickup the pants here. The only downside of this store is the Market St location which has many empty retail spaces and can have iffy characters like 3 card Monty scammers hanging around the block. Definitely avoid engaging with them at all costs!

This is a flagship store for Levis' and on its home turf. You literally have to ask multiple times to be serviced with an existing appointment (and you see 2-3 sales folks fairly idle on the show floor). I've been wearing Levi's since the 80s and consider myself a brand loyalist, so when I compare the overall experience to any of the newcomer's stores, I worry for a brand that is iconic. You can do better guys....Don't become complacent.

Important note: My issue was with an online Levi’s order, not with this physical store or its staff. I’m posting here because I’ve tried contacting Levi’s through the website multiple times and have only received AI responses with no way to reach a human for a solution. I’ve been a long-time Levi’s customer but this experience has been frustrating. I am trying to input an exchange, which should be straightforward as the website says the exchange sizes are available and the products are eligible for exchange, yet that is not the case. I’m hoping someone from Levi’s sees this and can help escalate the matter so it can be reviewed and resolved by a real person.
