"Lake Lewisville is one of the largest lakes in the region and a popular party spot in the summer months. As the temperature goes up, so does the number of people looking to escape it. Many folks find Lake Lewisville to be the perfect getaway for fishing, swimming, watersports, and recreational boating. On any given summer weekend, you’ll see plenty of boats and party barges headed over to Party Cove, where the scene is always bumping. Whether you’re looking for a raging scene or a relaxing cruise — Lake Lewisville has something to offer you." - MATADOR_NETWORK

The lake is very beautiful & there’s plenty of of space for kids to play & enjoy the lake. There’s a few sitting areas facing the lake which I enjoyed the most. Just a heads up it’s $10 for residential entry & $15 for non-residents. You are able to camp, but I noticed that the hours are from 7am-7pm so I don’t think camping overnight is available.

Nature is Always a good place to be . Walk, run, sit, exercise etc anything with the pleasant lake beside you. The community people walk around every day with their dogs 🐕 and kids ... They do spend a quality time

A quiet and serene lake in the middle of suburban dallas! Located at a 20min drive from Frisco, this lake offers a nice park like place to camp around or just a place to visit with your friends and family for a quiet evening soiree. They have benches and tables (stone) with bbq/fire pits under roofed gazebos. Makes the perfect setting to enjoy an outdoor picnic! Ample area to park!

A long way from the fast Dallas life. When your on the lake away from reality. Be very cautious, pay close attention to where you are when navigating lake, and keep lifevests. It's not a game out there in water. We loved it though.
