L'Hamburgheria di Volterra

I tried really hard to love this place as much as some of the reviews did. The hamburger bun was WAY too hard, burgers need a softer bun whereas this one was too dense, perhaps there was another bun option? My 5 piece chicken looked like a joke and also came extremely salty but they did make me another plate of (with salt on the side) which I was grateful for. The waiter/chef was very friendly and explained the menus to us in English and set up the high chair for us. They also had little toys for kids to play with.

Italian street food This is a good option for a quick, cheap and tasty meal! The Italian take on the American hamburger feels really gourmet. We loved the Mr Piggy!!

I loved this place! Would recommend to everyone who would like to have great quality and fresh street food. The people working here are also supper nice.

We have been traveling now for two weeks in Italy and although we have had amazing Italian food we were craving something from home. LHamburgheria was just what we were looking for! The cheeseburgers were fabulous, they had many choices to pick from for toppings! I just had a sandwich w pork roast, grilled peppers, caramelized onions on oil bread. Out of this world. My wife and daughter both had traditional burgers with the freshest toppings, crisp lettuce, onions, tomato’s with a chive mayo on a homemade roll. Let me not forget the handcut fries that he makes right in front of you. The best I’ve ever eaten. Everything tastes so fresh and clean. The meal was perfect w a Mole Cola, an Italian soda which is a perfect soda, kind of like a mix between Pepsi and a Coke! The is the first restaurant that we’ve come back to a 2nd time on our trip. 10/10

When we asked for a table, we were impolitely denied a table even though there was a family leaving at the same time. We even explicitly asked for that table but the owner (or employee, perhaps) seemed very unwilling to have us there. We therefore went to another restaurant where we felt much more welcome.

Great food and lovely owners, the best place if you are looking for something to break with the well known Italian dishes for an evening. Pick your ingredients and enjoy. Top tip, choose Bacon, it's delicious

Great ... greasy burgers .... sweet staff who wanted our business ... kind folks and attentive. Years later ... we still think about this place.
