I enjoyed this hotel more and more the longer I stayed. Location could not be better. Service was wonderful. We had a room with a terrace, which was very pleasant. It's an older hotel, with lots of different types of rooms for different tastes. Like most older hotels, it has a few charming quirks. The hallways are narrow and a bit dim; the stairs from reception to the first floor could use a rail. There is heat and A/C, but not both at the same time... the building switches from one to the other each fall and spring. A rainy day can cause musty smells in the lower floor rooms. None of these things distracted us from enjoying our stay.

Great location. Nice looking establishment with nice looking rooms. Now come the negatives. My room looks on to the parking courtyard. Across the way from my room, and looking directly into my room are apartments with families and screaming and crying children. It's a hot summer and there's no air conditioning. With the window open everybody's looking directly into my room. In the middle of the night people are coming and going in the courtyard. Last negative, my bathroom and room stink of sewage. At least one of the drains in the bathroom was not correctly plumbed and it is open to the sewer. Like I said, this is a nice looking hotel with a great location, but in 2025 the flaws I listed are unacceptable in a three-star. I might consider staying here during cool seasons, but I'd still have to smell the sewage. Oops... The wind shifted and now the hotel is in the landing flight path of the airport. A jet goes past directly overhead every 4 or 5 minutes. You decide whether the price is worth the downside.

Clean, comfortable and the staff were very helpful and friendly. I had a garden room with a little terrace which was a lovely touch, and the bed and pillows were extremely comfortable. Great location and very quiet given the central location. 100% would stay again!

Very friendly people, nice location, great hotel. Parking on-site (keep in mind not a dedicated site, so you need to leave keys for them to Play musical chairs with your car) nice breakfast. Wi-Fi is not useable - sometimes ok but poor most of the time. Their WiFi prevents vpn so be aware. Also cellular service in my rooms was non existent. Had to go outside hotel use get connected through my cellular for computer use with vpn.

I was very impressed with how helpful and friendly the staff were. We came with our bikes which needed setting up in a dry secure area which they were able to facilitate. ||Room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. I would definitely recommend this hotel and stay again.

The hotel is small but in the perfect location. Quite cute. The rooms with a terrace are large (for Europe) and the access to the terrace was great. The service and staff attitude was also great. They have parking but limited so make sure to pre-book.

Excellent location. Near castle and train station. Free tea and coffee making facilities in the dining area all day. Bath in bedroom. Lovely view of castle from bedroom (superior). Staff were very pleasant. Bicycle storage available.
