Li Finistreddi Exclusive Country Retreat

We had a relaxing and very enjoyable stay at this boutique hotel. We were celebrating a special wedding anniversary and were welcomed with a bottle of Italian sparkling wine and a fruit bowl. Views from our balcony and the hotel bar and restaurant were wonderful. Staff were friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable. We very much enjoyed the food and wine at dinner by the poolside.||We were not too impressed with Cannigione town beach and the hotel’s designated beach area (brown course sand and not quite clear water unlike the better Sardinian beaches). However, the receptionist was very helpful in pointing out some beautiful beaches in the CostaSmeralda area within 30 minutes drive. It is very helpful to have a car to drive to these beaches. ||Overall, we had a great experience. ||.

Our experience at the Hotel with the staff, Manager and the Restaurant were exceptional. The service in the Corallia was amazing. We enjoyed the Set Menu selection and the staff were extremely friendly and attentive - the food was delicious with fabulous presentation. The Hotel itself with the pool and setting overlooking the Sea was stunning.

In general we had a great time ,the staff was super nice and accommodating. if there is anything to mention is basically 3 things; 1. the location of the hotel requires a car , being that everything requires a drive , all the way from 10 -40 minutes away. 2. the beach club that the hotel offers isnt the greatest , especially after visiting others and seeing the difference. 3. the showers in the room are tiny and I would expect bigger for this kind of hotel.

We spent a wonderful week at this beautiful hotel hidden on the mountains in the Costa Smeralda region. The staff were so welcoming and attentive with us a special mention to Julia (if that’s how you spell it sorry! ) she greeted us every morning with a warm smile. We were spoilt for choice with the amenities from a heated pool to complimentary spa! Such a good location to visit the local towns of Cannigione and Palau with beaches all around that has the bluest waters ever! We couldn’t recommend this place enough ! Incredible hidden gem. The hotel was honestly all that I expected and more. I went for a relaxing holiday in a rustic feeling hotel and they delivered on that. Stuff very helpful and accommodating. The Lavanda suite was beautiful. Having the complimentary spa was a bonus I did not expect. And the wine list is a true reflection of a luxury retreat

My comments are related to the restaurant experience for lunch. Last year we had a full 5 stars experience both at the hotel and at the restaurant at lunch and at dinner. We loved it very much. This year we wanted to introduce some friends to this hotel and we stopped there for an aperitive and lunch. They could certainly enjoy the beautiful view and the elegance of the hotel but we were very sorry to find the level of the food and the service definitely not up to the same standards of last year. Hopefully we were unlucky.

Incredible retreat: the location of the retreat is stunning. Waking up every morning to a beautiful sunrise. And the stuff really friendly and accommodating. Gulia was the best. First impression were outstanding. By the end of the week she knew our order at breakfast without needing to ask. Having the in complimentary spa was a bonus. A true relaxing retreat. And don’t even get me started on the wine list. A true wine lovers paradise.
