Li Rioni lives and breathes pizza. This is pizza Rome style: a cracker‑thin, ultra‑crisp crust baked in a wood‑fired oven, topped with exactly the right balance of fresh tomato, cheese, and flavorful ingredients. Diners rave about how fresh everything tastes and how satisfying even the simplest Margherita can be. The vibe matches: warm, authentic, right just three blocks from the Colosseum. The owner actively mingles with guests, the staff is welcoming, and you feel instantly at home. If you go big with wine, pizzas, appetizersit still comes in around €30 each. If you keep it simple and go light, it’s around €10–15 for excellent pizza and maybe a carafe of house wine. This isn’t just a great pizza place. It’s a Rome memory waiting to happen.

I was told to come to this pizzeria by a Roman woman and coming from the north, I prefer it thin and crispy rather than Neapolitan. It was a nice discovery! I truly liked the thin dough. Only thing: be ready to wait, the service is indeed not slow, but maybe not enough for the many customers they have.

Very well priced and the staff were lovely. All of the dishes we ordered were amazing but the mortadella pizza was our favorite. Great neighborhood restaurant, thank you!!

We had a late flight into Rome and stopped for a bite at 11pm on our way to the Coliseum. The restaurant was closing down, yet the service was professional and welcoming. The food was delicious - the pizzas were delicious! Because of the late hour, my partner didn't think he would eat a whole pizza but they were so good our plate were cleaned in no time! Highly recommend going there if you're looking for reasonably priced great quality food around the Coliseum!

Best meal we had in Rome, pizza was AMAZING, feels a good mix of Tourist and Locals, great value, service was a bit slow for the bill but was due to how busy they were!

A perfect dinner. Great service. Great food. Best fried anchovies we’ve had in a long time. Pizza was quality and tasty. House red wine works and be sure to get an amaro to finish off things.

Very very very tasty pizza... Dough was perfect. Toppings were perfect. Do I need to say anything else? Don't think too much and just go there if you want the best pizza in Rome! Prices are really good too.

I was lucky enough to have this place close to my hotel. Welcoming staff and great pizza. Take a seat outside for the full experience :))
