We had an amazing stay here — truly one of the most heartwarming experiences we’ve ever had in Chiang Mai. 💛 The place is peaceful, clean, and beautifully maintained. Breakfast is freshly served with so much care, and the whole atmosphere just makes you slow down and relax. Special thanks to Marcel, who was incredibly kind and thoughtful. We accidentally broke a glass water bottle at night, and he immediately came over to help clean it up — no blame, just genuine kindness. 🥹 He even noticed that our flight was in the afternoon and kindly offered us a late checkout at 12 PM so we could rest more. Little gestures like this made us feel truly cared for — not just as guests, but like friends staying at someone’s home. If you’re looking for a quiet, cozy, adults-only place to unwind in Chiang Mai, this is the one. 🌿✨ ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Wonderful stay at Liam’s Guesthouse in Chiang Mai! We stayed here with three people and had an amazing experience. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the friendly staff and hosts, who truly made us feel at home. The food was delicious – freshly prepared with care. The service was excellent, always with a smile, and they were very helpful in organizing activities in the area, which really added to our stay. All in all, we highly recommend Liam’s Guesthouse to anyone visiting Chiang Mai. We’ll definitely be coming back!

Liam’s Suan Dok Mai is a true hidden gem just outside the busy center of Chiang Mai. The peaceful garden setting, spotless rooms, and saltwater pool make it a perfect place to relax — but what truly makes the experience special is the service. Marcel is a fantastic host who goes above and beyond. He organized all our trips and transfers with ease, offered great local recommendations, and was always available to help. The staff are equally amazing — kind, attentive, and genuinely warm. You can really feel that they care about every guest. Breakfasts were fresh and delicious, the atmosphere was welcoming, and the entire property is beautifully maintained. We felt at home from the moment we arrived. Highly recommended for travelers looking for comfort, peace, and truly outstanding service.

I stayed at Liam’s Guest House in Chiang Mai with two friends, and we honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Hi Marcel and team, Thank you so much for the lovely stay at your guesthouse, we enjoyed it very much! :) Once coming in from the street, you enter a cozy green oasis with the pool at it's center. The staff is super friendly and accommodating. What we loved most? The breakfast experience and the quiet. Once seated at the table, we were spoiled with pancakes, fresh fruit and some freshly toasted bread, including free top-up for all of it, letting us linger longer than intended ;) The rooms are spacious, clean and we had a lovely view into a green backyard from our balcony. The pool was refreshing and the beds around it rather comfy. :) Close by there are small supermarkets and plenty of places to eat. Of course, it is a bit out of town, but we were aware beforehand and were actually rather fond of being able to hear the birds chirp 😊 To sum it up - thanks for the super pleasant stay, we can definitely recommend staying with you and hope to be back one day!

Really charming place with calm atmosphere and pleasant design. Great host and all staff in the Guesthouse, everybody are super polite and well english speaking. Delicious breakfast everyday. The location is a bit outside city center but it’s not a big issue, you just need to count it in the equation and add 10min extra for taxi or Grab to take your order.

definitely the best choice you can make for a stay over in Chiang Mai. 5 days was maybe not enough. The managers are dreamboys as hosts and very busy with treating you as clients! the staff is outstandingly friendly. hotel is clean with nice rooms, the BF is amazing with every day a different choise. nice restaurant, perfect option for an adult only and be sure, you will be treated as a king. just go!

It was a place where I could feel completely satisfied without doing anything. Everything felt so charming, thanks to the warm and thoughtful hosts, the kind staff, and Rupa, the dog who welcomed us like an old friend. Just sitting at the small terrace table in the room, overlooking the green lawn, was enough to lift my mood. At night, the sound of crickets made for a peaceful and restful sleep. The lovely garden pool and the comfortable sunbeds beside it were perfect for relaxing. The cocktails were great—I had a mojito. The pool is open 24/7, and night swimming was refreshing and romantic. It was a place that truly made me feel like I was on vacation. Conveniently located near the city center, it also offers scooter and bicycle rentals.
