Lian Thong Restaurant (Taiping)

One of the kind almost nyonya dishes served by the ever friendly and relaxed elderly. I'm Taiping origin, not being bias but honestly it's a very authentic rustic restaurant at its original raw form. We love the fried tomyum cintan mee especially, the kopi-c-peng-kosong can't go wrong, I went to the moon and back. Prices are amazing, order everything if can't, all very tasty especially the eggplant dish.

Run by senior citizens - though they had a sign on a wall requesting patience, we found no fault in their service. Food arrived timely. The morning when we were there was cool and breezy - it was very pleasant. The fried noodles were yummy and so were their tofu pok fritters. Coffee and drinks decent too. Worth a pit stop.

Very old and transitional cafe shop with old staff. Service at here may slow little bit but food taste very good. Only open on weekday if want taste they food come on weekday before 2pm 😊we ordered bomb mee taste very great if come there must try it 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻😊

Best place to eat Chinese style food that's halal. All the food that we ordered are really delicious. Tao pok is a must order here, the filling is so full of fish and veggies and very cukup rasa. Good to eat for minum petang.

A good place for breakfast if you enjoy a traditional setting. During the movement control order, customers have to wait for their turn to be seated. It would take about 10 to 15 minutes for you to get your seat. They are famous for their bomb noodle and homemade honey lime. For you to be served with the food would take about 30 minutes. The taste of the food here is not bad.

Came to the shop at 8.20am just when it was about to open. The uncle asks us to have a sit. Quite surprised to have a wide range of menu to choose from for breakfast. There are also signboards informing customers to be patient as the staffs working in the shop are all senior citizens. It is a very special shop.

The restaurant here is one of the best food in Taiping town. Highly recommended and you should try their signature plum lime drink and tofu pok. They have various selections for breakfast and lunch..

Nasi Goreng Kerabu and Sweet Sour chicken as in picture. Honey Lime is the signature drink. Price is affordable and the taste is quite nice. Good for lunch but will be very hectic during lunch hours. Must visit in Taiping.
