The food was really good. They started us off with a welcome drink made with various spices, and a sampler bowl of crispy corn and toothpick shaped potatoes. Very delightful and a great prelude to things to come. We particularly like the paella with an Asian twist and the scrambled eggs atop the grilled eggplants. The place was clean and simple. Definitely will go back for the food. Overall just a great fusion of local and modern flavors.

Ordered the Bubur Beras Merah Tabanan (small size) and it was really good. The red rice has a nice texture and the broth is super comforting. I loved the mix of shredded chicken, egg, and the fresh veggies on top — everything just worked together. The small portion was actually perfect for breakfast. Filling, but not heavy. Would definitely come back for it again.

I discovered this restaurant after visiting the Monkey Forest and was looking for some local food—this turned out to be the perfect place. The atmosphere is simple yet sophisticated, with very reasonable prices. We were welcomed with a complimentary non-alcoholic shot and an entrée, which was a lovely touch. I ordered the snapper, and it was absolutely fantastic. If you’re looking for authentic local cuisine, this is definitely the place to go.

My 4th time here. The whole snapper is delicious as is the grilled cabbage. Refreshing non alcoholic soda infusions. The tempeh veggie side is also great. Waiting on the curry crab now….

When you walk down the street and by coincidence bump into places like this - you must be lucky! Absolutely amazing and tasty food, very friendly and helpful staff, cosy atmosphere - all the things needed for good experience were just in place!

Cuisine tasted absolutely amazing. The spices were definitely there and had a good amount of flavor. Sure prices are higher due to the tourism in ubud but overall an amazing experience if you like Indonesian cuisine! I would go back for certain!

Very nice atmosphere (great for a date night or casual dining) and amazing food!! We had Seafood Liwet, seafood with tumeric coconut rice. The seafood was fresh and the rice was well seasoned not too overpowering the fresh seafood ingredients. We also ordered Tempeh Mendoan , fried tempeh with chili sauce. The tempeh was crispy and not soggy and the sauce paired well with it. We had a welcome drinks and fried veggie as a complimentary from the restaurant as well. The staffs were also very friendly and helpful. There was no people when we went there so really hope people come visit this place more.

We enjoyed a delicious meal here with interesting takes on Indonesian flavours. We ordered the tuna ceviche, Tempe green bean salad, smokey cauliflower with eggplant hummus and Tempe crumb, smoked duck with cucumber salad and another delicious salad. This was a lot for two people and we left very full especially with the kitchen creating a free bite and welcome drink at the start. Would highly recommend - the staff were wonderful and the decor was beautiful too
