This place was a big, wonderful surprise. Was in town for a last minute visit and ended up here. The menu is forward, simultaneously innovative while being incredibly yummy. Unique combinations that leave you wanting more. Even the traditional items like refried beans are better than anywhere I've had recently. There are some standout dishes that will make you rethink combinations. Look for the tlayuda with salmon and tuna and the remolacha which is a dish with beets and pistachios and truffle vinaigrette (trust me, phenomenal). The whole concept felt like something out of Mexico City and the first-rate dining scene you'd expect to find there. The service was extremely good, and the space is really well built out. Highly recommend. A great addition to the neighborhood. We needed this addition to the Latin dining scene.
