Libertador Hotel

Absolute disappointment — definitely not 5 stars At the entrance, we were greeted by a security guard asking, “Do you have a reservation?” — with a look as if we were just trying to use the free restroom. The atmosphere was unpleasant from the very beginning. But the worst part came at check-in: we were asked for our bank card and, without any explanation, the staff started writing down all the details, including the CVC code. We were shocked — this is a gross violation of all security standards. Do not hand over your card details here: you have no idea where this data will be stored or who might use it. We were told that this was a “mandatory rule for all foreigners in Argentina” — which is absolutely untrue. It took a long discussion with the senior manager before we managed to avoid providing our card details. In the end, we were given a room. When we entered, we were horrified: mold in the bathroom; burn marks on the furniture; a ventilation grille completely covered in dirt. We immediately refused to stay, requested a refund, and left. This is absolutely not a 5-star hotel. Strongly not recommended.

It’s advertised as cheap, because it is. The lights in the room weren’t working, and they weren’t fixed even after they knew they were broken for four days. They didn’t fix them before I left. I remember seeing breakfast included on the itinerary, and they let me use it up until the last day when they said that it wasn’t included. They also charged over $100 for the stuff in the minibar

Very nice stay at this Hotel in March. But I would advise you not to have your laundry done here. I had some brand new linen trousers laundered. Admittedly I didn't open the plastic seal to check them at the time of return. When I went to put them on a few days later,( When I had left the country) I noticed a large tear in them. I think they must have got caught up in a machine, somewhere along the process. When I got home I emailed them. After several emails back and forth and chasing them up 3 months later, they declined to refund the bill. Someone must have knowm that this damage had been done especially when they were ironed. But it wasn't pointed out to me at the time. Its not the money its the principle.

not my best stay, got robbed just in front of the hotel door by motorcycle and nobody from the hotel was able to help or assist. Rooms are not bad, they're clean at least. Breakfast was ok. About the service, asking for a kettle needed twice my personal appearance at the receiption and another phone call from my room, it was there after a few hours of management!

The service was wonderful Carolina at the desk was absolutely amazing everyone there was wonderful we had an issue with one room and asked if we could change the rooms and they gladly did No problem and it was just wonderful , also we did eat at the hotel lobby and if food was very good I had the tuna salad which was amazing I wanted to have it again before we left but I didn't get the opportunity but everything was wonderful recommend having dinner or lunch there and they are just the service was wonderful.

We only had one brief night in this hotel. It was close to a mall and hundreds of shops. The bar and communal area was large. Our room was a bit tired but adequate. Breakfast not so great for a 4* hotel but enough really. Would stay again based on its location.

Hotel located centrally and convenience of everything close by including bug famous Galerias Pacificos attracted us against our fellow travelers stating that at night it is not that safe.|Room was ready when we checked in, well we did nook a club room so it was not as cheap as regular room, so I am guessing it was part of it.|In the middle of the night when I got up to go to the bathroom I discovered water flooding though the ceiling, it was like a big flood. I reported it, and we had to switch rooms.||It is interesting it was no apologies, no checking on us if we like new room. |club benefits included small bite, tapas and drinks during certain times.When we ordered, they didn't even indicate we had to pay for what we ordered.||I didn't exactly complaint, no point, no one cares or interested in pleasing guests, but I did ask if anyone will check ever with us how we were after flooding and all unfortunate events. Young lady at reception actually directed to write a negative review, she was rude and very indifferent.||I think Argentina changed a lot before it was nice and welcoming, but I have to say.stay away from this hotel, it can ruin your vacation vibe and spoil entire trip. Just sad experience

Excellent. One of the best hotels I've stayed in. Ideally located, right next to the famous Florida street, with easy acces to all the main sights. The rooms were excellent and comfortable, hotel staff is courteous, and the interior decor is great. Will definitely recommend to everyone visiting Buenos Aires. Thank you.
