"Liberty Kitchen & Oyster Bar, Heights. This Heights staple from long-time Heights resident Lee Ellis and his partner in crime, Culinary Director Lance Fegen, serves up fresh fish, steaks and more, cooked over an applewood-burning grill. Liberty Kitchen also boasts a wide range of oysters sourced from the East, West, and Gulf coasts."
Pure southern comfort food and oyster kitchen. I can’t believe I’ve lived here for nearly three years, driven by here hundreds of times, and never knew what a fantastic place this is! My mind and palate were blown away! Lunch was so good we came back for brunch the next day with our guys.
First time, my friend had the Fried Chicken Sliders and I had the grilled Mahi Fish Sandwich and a lettuce bun. The fries were crispy and hot and our entrees were filling and delicious.
From the bar where we were sitting we had a clear view of the goings on in the kitchen where the cooks and prep team were humming like a well established bee hive.
Everything they made looked amazing (hence the reason we came back so soon and will be back many times in the future)!
Do yourself a favor and don’t pass this place by!! You, your palate, and your tummy, won’t regret it!

Best oysters in the city. The ambiance is great for business meetings or a date. Clean and centrally located with super friendly staff. The food has incredible flavor and I reccomend this place highly.

First time here today and I love it! The 4 friends I ate with love each one of their meals. I loved my vegan soup. It was filled with potatoes, sweet peas, broccoli, cauliflower, grilled tofu! The soup came with white rice and asparagus salad. The salad is delicious and I will definitely try it at home!

I've always loved what this restaurant group has done in Houston. From BRC to Liberty Kitchen, they have always impressed with fresh local fare and fantastic food. If you are looking to eat on the cheap, their weekday happy from 3 to 6 in the afternoon is worth stopping by for.

Well I have to start with the ambience, this place have great vibes.
The menu is kind of complicated for someone like me (I'm a comfort food person) but My husband "translate" the menu for me.
We ordered the BTTL sandwich, crab balls (best in town for sure) and the American Breakfast (it was a regular breakfast nothing too amazing).
The overall experience was good, I will come back for sure but next time I'll try some seafood which looks so good and fresh.
The plates are BIG we took everything to go.
Our server, Frank, was kind and nice.

We always enjoy ourselves at Liberty Kitchen!! This time was an amazing experince!! Everything we ate was delicious especially with the bloody marys. Seafood mac was outrageous, the fried chicken was spectacular and the po-boy was out of this world! My new love is the BACON JAM!!

Loved this place! Came for Sunday brunch and had some sangria, east coast oysters, and their fried white gulf shrimp w/ slaw, fries, and hush puppies. Everything was delicious and the service was great.

The server gave us recommendations of his "favorite" dishes and they turned out to be the most expensive dishes in the menu. The salmon oyster chowder was great and the oysters were sensational. Everything else was a bit tasteless and lacked salt.
