I love this bookshop. In a time when most people buy books online, it’s such a treat to browse in person — to pick up the books, read the short summaries, and chat with the lovely team before choosing what to read next. It’s a French bookshop with a small English section, and the children’s books are especially good. A real gem in South Kensington.

I had to write a review after seeing comments that the prices were expensive. Not so. The books I purchased were at the publisher's determined retail price which is sooooo very much better than what I usually pay for used books online. I'd have gladly paid even more because of the wonderful selection and very helpful and understanding staff. I fool myself to ever believe I will be a competent speaker for this wonderful language, but it was a luxury to wallow in a sea of French at every level of literacy.

Absolutely loved this nice little bookstore. They even have books on sale listed outside of the shop. The staff is very friendly and I highly appreciate that they taken their time and we had a nice conversation in my beginner french language. Will be back soon and if you are in the neighbourhood pop in. I'm sure you will be also mesmerised 😀

Very convenient to have a French bookshop in London. It was great to find children books for our baby. They also have a nice collection of educative toys.
