Library Bar at Hudson

Went here two nights in a row. Both bartenders were fantastic. The drinks were great and finely crafted. The terrace was also beautiful and lovely for enjoying a drink or two. The inside is decorated like an old school library where you need the ladder to get to the top and there is a pool table as well. Very chill vibes.

It feels like a more classy and intimate bar than your average new York scene. The space is very nice and there are lots of places to sit even outside with beautiful lights and tables and unique decorations. I was impressed and intrigued from the second I walked in.

Amazing cocktails (at a high price) with a cozy feel. You can play pool in the bar area surrounded by books; or sit outside inside a nook between the two sides of the hotel.

Nice, cozy environment. Great to grab a few, quality drinks and kick back and have a chat with friends. Has a decent amount of other amenities, including a few pool tables, hidden chess boards, etc. The only complaint I really have about this place is that it kind be a bit hard to find since it is tucked away on the second floor of a building.

It is a very cozy place to sit and have a drink. When we walked in, we were glad we went out of our way to find this bar. The ambience is comfortable and entertaining. They do not have food here, only drinks. There are a few photography books out you can flip through, but no actual books to read. The pool table is beautiful, but there is only one, so you may or may not get a chance at it. The drinks and bartender were very good, but a gin and tonic was nearly $20.

No longer Hudson Commons but now Umami burger this location has now become a little more casual. I am disappointed there is now less variety but the food was good. The hotel still is stunning and the location marvelous but it was a special treat to watch customers dressed in the nicest of clothes munching on burgers and fries.

Great service in a beautiful location overlooking the boat pond. The guy serving us, Clay, was extremely courteous and passionate about the place, and New York in general. Quite expensive but you get what you pay for.

Amazing place, the location is great. Love the atmosphere and the library setting with the books on wall top to bottom. The drinks are amazing and good price! Definately recommend Library Bar!
