The location is excellent, just steps away from the cathedral, but that’s where the positives end. Upon checking into a room that had been converted from an attic space, I immediately found a small bug on the bed and a larger one on the pillow. When I reported this to the staff, they assured me the hotel regularly undergoes pest control and claimed it was ‘just ants,’ not bedbugs. However, bugs shouldn’t be in the room, ant or not, and they don’t exactly enter through the door like guests do. They moved me to the room next door, but that didn’t ease my discomfort at all. I requested a refund, hoping to move to another hotel, but was informed that same-day refunds weren’t possible. They offered a more expensive room but demanded an extra charge. I had no intention of spending another cent here, so I kept the room to store my luggage but couldn’t bring myself to sleep, fearing more bugs. The condition of the room was far from what the photos showed—worn wooden fixtures, an outdated showerhead in dire need of replacement, and unbearably hot. I cannot recommend this hotel top floor and regret staying here. It is only recommended for those who prioritize location.

All was good except that it is noisy as the hotel is beside de Cathedral and also people smoke downstairs and hopefully few inside the rooms despite the rule of non smoking 🚭

Amazing location, a stone's throw from the cathedral. Quiet at night with the windows closed. Coffee available. Manned reception.

Outstanding in every way! Not large, but extremely well located! Literally 1 minute from the cathedral square and overlooks the Fonseca square which is the most delightful, animated, colorful one in the area. Rooms are small, but up to date, clean, with safes. The reception area and receptionist are bright and clean, with a key to get in at night. Paid €50/night but worth it!

Small but comfortable room literally steps away from the cathedral. Exceptional helpful front desk manager. We were told taxi company to airport was very reliable but our 4:30 AM ride didn't arrive until 4:45 AM, after calling the company 3 times: word of advice: have phone ready to call locally.

The Hotel is well located, close to everything, including the main Cathedral, you can do everything on foot. Service is great, room was small but super clean, with TV and safe box. There is no breakfast, but there is a coffee machine. There is no elevator and parking. I really recommend.

The hotel is super centrally located and the room was really nice. The man at reception, Quin, was also very friendly and helpful. The only very unpleasant and stressful part of the experience was trying to get in contact with the hotel. I booked my stay in mid-January and then realized I'd need to check-in late, so I contacted the hotel to ask if this was possible. I messaged the hotel's whatsapp, messaged their facebook page, emailed, and called, doing all of these things multiple times week after week. FIVE WEEKS later, in March, I finally got a response. I don't understand how it is possible for a hotel to be completely unreachable for more than a month and after reaching out via so many different forms of communication. I don't know if the hotel was closed or under construction or in their off season, but there wasn't so much as an automated "out of office" message response. Once they got in touch, the communication was good, but I nearly cancelled the reservation at first out of fear that I'd been scammed or something given the impossibility to get in touch.

The location of this Pension cannot be beaten for access to the cathedral and old quarter. It is on a corner with a lovely garden in front, visible from the balcony of the cathedral museum. The rooms are very small and the pedestrian traffic on the street can be loud (especially some really bad musicians). The staff are friendly and helpful.
