Hotel Lido Seegarten

I really enjoyed my stay at the Lido Seegarten Hotel. The location right on the lake is incredible, with stunning views and a relaxing atmosphere. The pool area is inviting and well kept, and the whole property is very clean. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my visit, which made the experience even better.||Very convenient to everything Lugano had to offer. Walked to just about everywhere! ||Be sure to spent the $$ for the lake view room! ||The only downside is that there aren’t many electrical outlets in the rooms, especially near the beds, which made charging phones a bit tricky. Other than that, it’s a lovely hotel in a perfect spot. I’d definitely stay here again.

We loved our stay at Hotel Lido Seegarten. The rooms were beautiful, the pool was lovely, and the lake views were perfect. We especially enjoyed dinner at the restaurant and the generous breakfast spread. The location was excellent. Convenient to public transport, Monte Brè, and just a short trip to the city center.

One of the only hotels in Lugano which is directly on the lake. You pay a premium for that. The rooms are modern/recently refurbished and we booked a lake view so naturally that looked as good as it does in the pictures. Very good breakfast. Pool is nice, not too large but as you can imagine it's also very busy with the other guests. There is also direct access to the lake for swimming from the pool area which is nice. I saw they had equipment for SUP but didn't try that. Parking is a 5-10 min walk and the staff are lovely to help direct and inform about the parking options (30 euros per day). The only downside is no complementary water in the room. For the amount you pay, you would have expected there to be some but only bottled water from the minibar.

We stayed for 3 nights, the hotel is in a fabulous location right on the lake.| Our room was very clean and had a lovely view of Lake Lugano. Great pool and we were able to have a swim in the lake.|The breakfast buffet was excellent and breakfast was served on the terrace.|Lugano is beautiful lots of excellent bars, restaurants and lovely walks.|We would stay at this hotel again.

This a wonderful very modern hotel. Excellent service,rooms clean and well appointed. Get a deal that includes breakfast, very good food and ambiance. No one speaks English so keep your translator handy. We didn’t eat at the hotel but took a ferry across the lake for dinner

Checked into the hotel and found excrement/poop on the tile wall in the bathroom near the toilet. There were multiple splatters in the tile. Obviously the room wasn’t cleaned appropriately cleaned and they apologized but made an excuse that it is their busy season. They did move us to a different room that was clean. Then at breakfast the next morning, the waiter would not let us sit near the waterfront even though no one else was sitting there. Was treated rather rudely. Would not recommend this hotel if there are better options.

The location is great, a 15 minute walk from the city center (or a couple of bus stops), right on the lake. They have a nice pool and access to the lake as well. My room was nice and had everything needed.

Very beautiful hotel mit access to the lake and amazing breakfast. One of the best hotels I have been in lugano.
