Hello everyone We go with the family type kinda vacation, things was convenient for this hotel that they give you free ticket for bus and museum, the rooms wasn’t in a perfect condition seems old and our bathroom had broken part another room that we took with view looks better but the Vinson shade was broken, they don’t have free parking included what they offer is just 5 space behind the hotel if not you need to find the parking 5 minutes far from hotel. The breakfast service was nice, almost a worker respectful. The view of the hotel was beautiful.

Great location and potential, but tiny rooms (even by NYC standards) and very inconsistent service from wonderful girl on day 1 to horribly rude guy on day 2 (I think Mario?). Plus, birds living in fondue restaurant and touching all the plates and utensils people would eat with.... kinda disgusting...

My experience in a room was not good . The room was very small and did not fit the value. The hotel has 4 floors and the fourth floor is the highest, I was a friend of the stairs. I appreciate that the hotel is old, but we must give these notes to some visitors. Other than that, I liked the bed and the bathroom is clean, and I personally I think the hotel deserves 3 stars I think the bed has bedbugs 🛑

This is beautiful hotel, the rooms are clean, bright and have a picturesque view of Lake Lugano. The breakfast is value for money as nothing’s cheap in Switzerland with conversions. The staff are very welcoming and happily let us in the room early.

To be fair it’s an old yet beautiful hotel and fantastic views. For the price you would expect complete service. The hotel entrance is on a busy street with no one there to help. There are only a few parking spots Immediately to the left of the hotel to unload luggage (public parking). The hotel provides a pass for hotel guests ( 30 Swiss Franks charged to room per day) . It’s 5 mins by car and a good 15 min walk back to hotel. You do this on your own. By the way when you retrieve your you repeat the 15 min walk. For elderly individuals it’s not a good idea. If you have medical problems good luck. Additionally our pass provided did not work. Had to pay myself and make sure you have cash since you can’t use credit cards |This is the problem with advertising. Just because it state’s parking available doesn’t mean it’s acceptable. It’s ok if it’s a Motel 6 but for luxury hotels it’s totally unacceptable |I rarely write a review but the experience with the parking and limited help from staff caused me to cut our stay.

We absolutely loved our stay here. The views, the amenities, the breakfast - all 5/5. We loved sipping wine in our balcony overlooking the lake. The free breakfast in the morning is the best I’ve ever had. Lounging by the pool after a fun day out was so nice. And the staff was very friendly - special call out to Victorio for helping us with our wine every evening.

Fantastic hotel in a great location. Love coming here. Have been two years in a row now and already booked in for next year. Rooms are lovely and service is excellent. Small gym that does the job for during a holiday. Highly recommend.
