Beautiful little store that serves coffee in all varieties and sells local products (i.e. decor, clothes, house/kitchen utensils etc.) I personally didn’t like the espresso, imho it was too sour, but that’s just my taste buds. However all other coffee variants are delicious. At peak times it’s possible that it takes a while till you get your coffee as they are a really small team (and the coffee machine seems too) but time flies while browsing the store in the meantime. The personal are super friendly.

Life According to KAWA is more of a concept store than a traditional café, but it’s definitely worth a stop—especially for the coffee. They serve excellent specialty coffee, some of the best I’ve had in the area. The space is packed with all kinds of items, from souvenirs to local drinks, so it feels more like a trendy shop that also happens to make great coffee. Prices are a bit on the higher side, but the atmosphere is lively, touristy, and enjoyable. If you’re in Old Town and looking for a quality caffeine fix, this place is worth a visit.

Coffee was actually better in the old town cogito but people here were so nice. I always see people chatting to the stuffs and they enjoyed a lot. I myself spoke to a lady she explained about their products and current situation of Croatia. I visited there multiple times and everyone was nice. Also if you are looking for hip drink it has a lot. Some special Soda, craft beers etc. I also liked they try to support local productions and artists.

Tucked just outside the old town gate, Kawa is the perfect spot to ease into the day. Serving Cogito coffee—fair trade and roasted in Zagreb—the brew is strong, smooth, and satisfying. Whether you grab a seat inside among curated souvenirs or bask in the morning air on the terrace, there’s an easygoing charm to this place. Chill music drifts through the space, and the owner from Vancouver adds to the warm vibe, always greeting you with a smile. It’s a great place to sip slowly and watch the rhythm of the old town come alive.

The place is very interesting and beautiful, the coffee is very successful and at a reasonable price... The manager is an extremely helpful and successful lady. All the products sold in the place are of very high quality and there are very interesting objects. Definitely correct station

Great spot for a quick coffee break ☕ while exploring Dubrovnik’s old town gates. I loved the vibe! They also support artists with cool art and items on display 🎨 Worth a stop! 🙌

Lovely little shop specialising in local produce, in particular they have a really nice selection of Croatian beers and wine as well as arty gifts. They also stock some Asian produce too if that’s your thing. The people were an absolute pleasure and incredibly welcoming. We picked up a few bits and had a couple of coffees over the weekend we were there and they were fantastic. They were using a medium-light roast coffee from Cogito which was exactly what I was looking for. If we’re ever back in Dubrovnik we’ll definitely be stopping by again.
