Oh my god! I loved our stay! The rooms, the view, the bed, the bathrooms and the proximity to the beach made this experience one of a kind. I jumped into the ocean first thing in the morning and came back just walking one minute. Couldn't have had a better experience. Sarah the owner and the whole team are so helpful as well. Sooooooo recommended!

Positives first. Villas are nicely decorated, staff friendly and restaurant good. The snorkelling off the beach isn't bad - we spotted turtles here. ||However the reason for the poor rating is the disconnect between the description of the 2 bed villa on Booking.com / Qantas Hotels and reality.|- queen bed not king bed|- villa was not on one level|- no indoor seating area as shown in photos (this was a primary reason for booking this villa)|- there were two bedrooms, however no privacy as there was no door between the bedrooms|- no hot tub|- no desk|- no TV||The hotel is well aware that the information on Booking.Com is incorrect and simply said "you should have checked our website, it is correct"||The bathroom was partially outdoors. Was taken by surprise to find myself staring straight at a fellow guest on their balcony as I got out of the shower one day.

I went to their spa today. Best massage of my entire life – hands down!|Life in Amed – Luri is pure magic.|I’ve had a lot of massages in my life (Bali, Thailand, Europe, you name it), but nothing comes even close to what Luri just did. This wasn’t just a massage; it honestly felt like healing. From the moment she started, she was finding knots, blockages, and tension I didn’t even know existed. She reads your body like it’s an open book.|She seamlessly mixed deep tissue work (the perfect pressure – firm but never painful), energy flow (I swear I could feel things shifting), long yoga-like stretches that opened me up in ways I haven’t felt in a long time, and somehow the whole thing was still incredibly relaxing. I floated out of there.|60 minutes felt like a full reset for body and soul. Because of my lung illness I constantly struggle to breathe properly, and that tension had built up terribly in my neck, shoulders, and ribcage. She released it all.|If you’re in Amed, do yourself a favor and book with Luri at Life in Amed. She’s not just a therapist – she’s a healer. I’m already counting the days until I can come back. Thank you, Luri, you’re a gift! 🙏💛

Wonderfull place to stay, to eat, to snorkel! Relaxed atmosphere, friendly staff, delicious milkshakes, burgers, brownies and cake. Even if you’re not staying here its worth eating here. Lovely pool to relax by and just a step out the back gate and you can swim into a beautiful coral garden full of bannerfish, angelfish, trumpetfish and all sorts of tropical fish. No need to take a boat anywhere. Though a boat ride along the coast with one of the locals is definitely worth the view. Our room overlooked sunrise over the beach and the local fishermen coming in with their catch.

Did not stay here but came for dinner. Service and food was exemplary. My husband ordered the beef cheese burger and made short work of it. I ordered the fish of the day and it was fresh and delicious. Prices reasonable as well so definitely worth a visit. We walked from Lipah beach.

Life in Amed looked lovely on photos and reviews but it was better. The vibe was friendly and welcoming, the food healthy and fresh and pretty garden. The room had a large water dispenser ( a gripe of mine is often hotels give tiny water bottles) . Staff we helpful but not pushy. We got a scooter to explore snorkling spots and local sights and it was a great start to our Indonesian adventure. House reef good for snorkling.

Walking into Life in Amed, is like walking into paradise. The garden and pool area is picturesque. The property and gardens are well maintained. We stayed in a cottage and then moved to a 2 bedroom villa. The cottage is clean and cosy, with pool views. I love the villa, it is so spacious and beautifully presented. It has ocean views and a private garden.|The staff are friendly and helpful. We dined at the restaurant on several occasions. The food is delicious and healthy.|I love the 2 friendly house cats.|There is an amazing spot to snorkel, from the beach near the hotel. My husband and I were surprised by the amount of coral and marine life at this location. It is spectacular, with very few people snorkelling. I noticed a sign at Lipah Beach which read "the best snorkelling spot", I'd have to disagree. The best snorkelling spot is near Life in Amed, by far!

Life in Amed is a special property with very kind and helpful staff. Our villa was right near the beach and it was neat to hear and see the early morning fishermen. Keep this in mind if you would rather quiet, there are villas further back. The grounds are so well maintained and the pool is beautiful and deep. We enjoyed a yoga class and many good meals. The fish and satay were cooked better than anywhere we have eaten so far in Bali! We didn’t have transportation and they organized rides whenever we needed. A great place in Amed!
