Can and stayed for 10 nights with the boyfriend we had the absolute best experience here straight from checking in. Had such a lovely welcome. The room was perfect and was cleaned every day with fresh towels. Breakfast included, great selection which changes. Beautiful fresh cakes. The balcony was lovely we had a sea and also mountain view. The beach is seconds away. Perfect location, couple min drive to a strip with lots of bars/restaurants. There is also 24/7 room service which is very reasonably priced. We will be coming back. I’ve been staying at LSH for over seven years, and unfortunately, the hotel gets worse every time I return. The check-in process is one of the slowest I’ve ever experienced at any hotel. You can clearly tell that the rooms are in urgent need of renovation. There was a strange iron table that made no sense at all. It felt completely out of place. My room didn’t have a hairdryer, so I had to request one at the front desk, and it took over 30 minutes to be delivered. The one positive point is the location — the hotel is right at the beginning of Barra da Tijuca, close to the beach, which is very convenient.

This place was so nice—the rooms, accommodations, and customer service were outstanding. The pool is stunning, and the breakfast is fantastic, with excellent bar and front desk service. The staff, especially Caio, Gabriel, and Anderson were amazing, making our experience an absolute pleasure. We had to leave after our first night to explore different parts of the city, but we had to come back because no other place compared!

Terrible experience with this hotel. We arrived and our room looked great at first glance, but had ants. We told the front desk and they told us they would handle it. After getting lunch we returned and still had ants so we again asked the front desk to clean the room. When we returned from dinner they let us know the room was clean. We learned that was not true at midnight when I woke up with ants crawling on me. We again told the front desk. At that point there was nothing they could do for our room so they downgraded us to another room for the night. This room was flithy and covered in rust. The next day they moved us again to a room similar to our original booking. It was gross. We found a cockroach. Before we left I waited an hour to complain to a supervisor about the conditions of the hotel and asked them to adjust my bill for the one night we spent in a downgraded room. They agreed but when we checked out, they did not adjust the bill. I waited another hour to speak to a different supervisor, explained the issue and asked to adjust my bill for the one night. He again promised they would do so but stated it would take a few days. Spolier: They didn't adjust anything. I wish I could recommend this hotel, but this was absolutely not worth it. Terrible conditions and customer service.

Wonderful stay at LSH! The hotel has a great location, right next to the beach and lots of great restaurants. The breakfast was delicious!! While we got our room late as the hotel was full, they allowed us to have a late check out which was immensely helpful! The room was comfortable and well decorated. We also enjoyed the pool with ocean views, and they had a small area at the beach with beach chairs and umbrellas, just no beach towels… but the beach is lovely! Very friendly and helpful service.. the only thing is that the street can be loud at night so if you’re on a low floor and a light sleeper, bring earplugs. But apart from that, we thought it was an excellent hotel and we would come back!

Nice place, right on the beach. Value for your money. The reservation desk is promptly in reply and the checkin was very friendly and helpful. Bed is really good and comfortable. Breakfast is also really nice. Only 2 things: Spa is closed and it is a bit strange to be charged for making a coffee in your room with the Nespresso, never had that before, should be included.

We had an incredible stay here, not only that the place was amazing and clean and luxurious, but the customer service was just so great. We left to two different hotels throughout our stay to visit the other areas and we had to come back just to experience this place again.

Very good value for money. Staff was very pleasant and eager to help! Angela from housekeeping was especially darling ☺️
