I usually don’t leave poor reviews but received absolutely horrendous customer service at the door. Unsure of what their real policy is, but we got there and they looked at ID & stamped us. We thought we were clear to go in, but someone stopped us and asked if we had tokens. We were never given any and so they made us leave and join back to get tokens. We got the tokens and tried to go back through security, but we were stopped AGAIN by this very rude woman. Her argument was that one of my friends was saying that we werent going to come back, which she didn’t. I took out my phone to record because she was being very rude and cursing, which you can hear in the video, and then she proceeded to try to take my phone. She then grabbed me by the arm and pushed me out of the establishment. Do NOT come here, they’re VERY rude, disorganised, and there’s an obvious internal issue with staff. Lightbox please look into this. Never coming here again, and neither should you!!!!

I came here for Metrik’s album launch. It’s small but mighty. Before you go to the club room, there is a little hangout area where you can put your bags in storage and buy various things. The staff including security seemed reasonable considering the type of venue. Only downside was lighting. It could do with some better lighting and I had noticed some of the lights were not functioning properly. Otherwise a great venue :)

Hi, I am not one to review a club, the staff were nice. But this entire night was a rip off. We bought tickets online, and arrived well before the time we were supposed to get in but the line was so long we did not get in before the time our "tickets" "expired" so when getting in we had to pay an extra 13 pounds!!!!! insane. so that was immediately a set back, but we were looking forward to dancing to reggaeton so we brushed it off. UNTIL, the MEN IN THIS PLACE WERE DISGUSTING!!!1 My girlfriends and I were harassed the full hour we were there, from room to room, men touching us, saying gross things. I have not been to a place in London yet where I have experienced this. I assume it was the crowd that this place attracted.....since there were a lot of 18-20 year old trashed girls it seemed like men18-40 came to prey on that scene.....would have been fun the venue was decorated nicely.....but felt like such a freaking rip off. Paying all that money to get in check a coat just to get groped. Steer clear!!!!! Creeper central.

I recently visited Lightbox Vauxhall, and although the music was very good, the overall experience was disappointing. The venue was extremely overcrowded — far too many people for such a small space. It felt unsafe and uncomfortable, and it was clear that fewer tickets should have been sold. The crowd was also quite disrespectful. People were pushing, stepping on others, and even walking directly between you and your dance partner, which made it very hard to enjoy the night. The drinks were expensive, and they were never made the same way twice. After a while, you can’t even tell what you’re drinking. Overall, great music but the overcrowding, atmosphere, and crowd behaviour made the experience unpleasant. I wouldn’t recommend it if you’re looking for a comfortable or enjoyable night out.

Came here for my birthday and was deeply disappointed. Even though I arrived before opening (11 PM) to use the "free entry before 11:30 PM" tickets, the staff held the line for 55+ minutes. Once inside, we were hit with more queues and then told we had to pay because the "free entry time" had passed—despite it being their delay! The staff was mocking, dishonest, and laughed when I complained. It ruined the night for me and my friends who traveled from another city. I’ve been here before and was amazing, but I don’t know if I want to go back after this

Honestly really nice place. I don't know wjat could get better about a club. Three rooms, all have bars, bar outside, hot street food for good price, vending machines and arcade games. It really doesn't get better than that.

One of the worst club experiences. They scam you with the whole free ticket offer. Even if you join the queue on time and before you timeslot the queue takes so long (1hour or 1.5hours) that by the time you get to at the entrance your slot has expired so they force you to pay. If you don’t get stamped in the queue you will have to pay even more. Avoid at all cost. Club was overly crowded. They put too many people in. All dance rooms are tiny and impossible to dance in because they let too many people in. The music sucked. Smoking area was dirty as well. Staff extremely rude and if you question their scam they will get rude and threaten to kick you out. So yea my last time at the lightbox 🥱

The worst night of my life from start to finish. The bouncers and customer service at Lightbox Vauxhall are absolutely disgraceful. Most of the security staff clearly believe they’re above everyone else and can treat people however they want. Apart from one female bouncer, every interaction we had was hostile, aggressive, and honestly felt discriminatory. When we arrived, my boyfriend was refused entry and accused of carrying drugs despite having absolutely nothing on him. His valid ID was also questioned for no reason. When we tried to calmly and politely explain the situation, the bouncers refused to listen or help in any way. Unsurprisingly, he was eventually let in, because he had done nothing wrong in the first place. No apology, no accountability. Inside the venue was just as bad. It was dangerously overcrowded with zero crowd control, clearly oversold. The atmosphere was awful and there were multiple creepy individuals lurking around, making me and my girlfriends feel extremely uncomfortable. Security inside did nothing. Leaving the venue somehow managed to be even worse. We queued for a long time at the cloakroom, which is fine, but when we reached the desk, staff only returned my boyfriend’s jacket, not mine, even though both coats were taken together and we were given ONE ticket. Staff immediately refused to listen and insisted it was “impossible,” telling me I wouldn’t get my coat back unless I produced a ticket I was never given. The same thing happened to my best friend. Even though initials were taken, she could clearly see her coat, and others confirmed it was hers, staff showed zero willingness to help. Instead, they pushed us aside and called security. One particular security guard was vile mocking us, making snarky comments, refusing to listen, and acting aggressively. After my boyfriend handed over the SAME ticket again, they suddenly “found” my coat under the exact same number we had been telling them all along. Even then, they continued teasing us by refusing to hand it over immediately and making sarcastic remarks while holding my coat in their hands. When we tried again to help my best friend retrieve her coat, that same security guard aggressively shoved my sister out of the way. Putting his hands on her was completely unacceptable. When my boyfriend told him not to touch her, he was shoved against a wall and threatened by multiple security guards. We were then kicked out. My best friend NEVER got her coat back and was forced to walk home in freezing temperatures without a jacket. This venue is unsafe, poorly managed, and staffed by people who abuse their power. The way we were treated was humiliating and frightening. I will never return and would strongly advise anyone considering Lightbox to stay far away.
