Stayed from 7/20-7/25- staff at front desk when I arrived, incredibly welcoming and helpful. Whoever the man is who is at the desk/hotel in the evening is incredibly rude. Seemed to be more concerned about his dog than his guests. I asked for a late checkout and was rudely told it’s likely not an option and would only be granted until noon. The day of check out I was met with a much nicer response from other staff and a later check out time. Bathroom had ants despite me telling the front desk multiple times Bar staff - very very sweet! Made great drinks! Not the place to relax as construction noise was constant starting at 7:30am. Hotel landscapers are constantly around you at the pool with their leaf blowers- not exactly sure what they were cleaning but literally right on top of you! Despite this- it was a safe location as a single traveler despite the evening rude front desk staff. I would still come back but be aware of this. The night staff seemed more annoyed with me than helpful.

A gorgeous place to spend our time in Key West!! The perfect place to walk just about anywhere. Very quiet and tucked away. Friendly service, though you may have to request housekeeping because we ran out of towels a few times and they only came once to take the trash out and make the bed even though we never had the Do Not Disturb sign out. Ultimately, that may have been on us for not asking but I don't recall them saying it was "by request only." But the rooms were unique and clean, very quiet, very clean, and the bartender was so fun and always checking if we needed anything while out by the pool!!

My boyfriend and I stayed here for our Key West vacation and we absolutely loved it! We were upgraded to a king size room with private deck and it was perfect for us. It was such a cute little room and the staff were very helpful. The location was also perfect for us, as it is very centrally located on the island. We will definitely be coming back!

This was by far the best hotel I have ever stayed in. The rooms were very clean and cozy. The whole property is absolutely gorgeous. The breakfast bar was very so good & fresh! Everyone who works there goes above & beyond with their hospitality. We really appreciated them having our room ready once we docked instead of waiting until 4 to check in (this was a Tuesday btw weekends could differ). Checkout time was 11am but they held our bags for us until we got onto our ferry at 5pm! I would recommend everyone to stay here honestly. Next time we come back to key west we are staying here or one of their other historic properties!

From the moment we checked in until we checked out, we were made to feel like family. Laura and Eddie were there to answer any questions and to assist in any way they could. We stayed in Room 6 which faces Whitehouse Street. The room was tastefully decorated and had everything 2 people could want. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom amenities were luxurious. Our favorite place was the amazing front porch where we would sit each morning and evening and enjoy the Key West vibe. In additional to superb accommodations, we had a lovely breakfast by the pool each morning prior to beginning our adventures. We got to know Eddie and Laura by name, however all the staff were friendly and were usually smiling. The location was great and within walking distance to all the sights and if we didn't feel like walking there were 2 bus stops just blocks in either direction. We highly recommend the Lighthouse Hotel snd commend Laura and Eddie for a job we'll done.

The Lighthouse Hotel was perfectly located—just steps away from Hemingway’s House. The staff were respectful, professional, and made our stay smooth from start to finish. After a day of exploring, the pool was a peaceful and refreshing retreat. The hotel was quiet, clean, and comfortable—everything we were hoping for. We would absolutely stay here again!

We booked this place through Priceline and were surprised to learn once we got to the hotel that they charge a $30 fee for parking, plus a $50 per night “deposit” that they then take out $45 “amenities” fee that they vaguely tell you about when you first check into the property (I will include a screenshot of the invoice for proof). NO YOU WILL NOT BE GETTING YOUR DEPOSIT BACK BECAUSE THE HOTEL DECIDES TO KEEP YOUR DEPOSIT TO COVER THEIR “AMENITIES” which is a dirty pool and rooms with bugs in them. Furthermore, the properly is in a great central location, which makes your stay a little more pleasant, but there’s bugs and termites all in the rooms, there’s roosters walking through the property making noise early in the morning right around 4AM. I just wish that for charging premium nightly rate prices, that the hotel would provide premium service and premium activities. I won’t be booking at the lighthouse inn again, I’ll just go stay at Hawks Cay next times if I’m going to pay these prices and parking will be included with no bugs.

The hotel is a block off of Duvall street, which was nice. The breakfast was basic. It was nice that you could go down to the area any time to fill water bottle. The room was a good size. The shower water was cold, only once did it heat up. the price you are given on Priceline is not accurate. The hotel will charge an additional 45.00 per night on top of what you was quoted by Priceline which I find deceptive and I will not be back for that reason. I tried calling priceline and the hotel and they both blamed each other. I got no resolution with either company.

Yelp
This was a very cute hotel with lots of charm and walking distance to everything in Key West! It's right across from the Hemingway House if you want to visit that. The parking is several blocks from the hotel but they tell you where to park since it's just street parking in front of the hotel. The staff was very helpful and had great service. The breakfast was delicious and can tell it's homemade! They even remembered my coffee order that I always ordered. Only took off a star since the pillows were so uncomfortable and it made it hard to sleep without any head support. Otherwise I recommend staying here!

Yelp
We couldn't have been more disappointed. $600+ for a tiny room, in bad shape, repairs needed and infested with black mold. This was a second floor room and one tiny window unit could barely keep up. During the day the temp in the room would be 80-82 degrees. At night, we were lucky to have it drop to 75-77. The mold was so bad, we sneezed non stop and our eyes watered and burned. The smell was so strong it has ruined a $600 Calvin Klein leather shoe bag. We can't get the smell of mold out of it even having emptied it and let it sit out in the sunshine and fresh air. The room had paint slopped everywhere, and I mean the floors, the furniture, the bathroom mirror, and the nightstands. Being painters ourselves, we figured out that it was Kilz primer everywhere they were trying to cover the mold. Let me tell you, working in the construction field, you CANNOT paint over mold to make it go away. They need to tear the ceilings out and abate it from the inside. The paint was also peeling off the walls in the bathroom which also indicates moisture in the walls. We would have complained, but the lady at the front desk upon check in was extremely rude and abrasive, and I mean RUDE. The gentleman that was behind the desk however, was very nice, as was the rest of the staff except the blonde behind the counter. We were charged $$60 to park 3 blocks away. There is no concierge or offer to help carry your luggage upstairs, as there is no elevator. This stay in Key west was just a few days of a 15 day trip so we had 3 bags. We never ate breakfast there as it was only cereal, pastries and whole fruit. If you're into carb loading and sugar that's fine, but we're not. We should have just stayed elsewhere but we thought it was going to be more fun closer to Duval St. The pool was okay, very small and only 10 people allowed in at a time. The "resort fees" are for things they claim are complimentary. So go figure $39 a night concierge fee, when we couldn't get an offer of help with the luggage, the bar was closed the entire time, we had to walk 3 blocks to our car which they charged us for too. They are sheisters! Do not recommend.

Yelp
Literally right beside the lighthouse, which was cool. The room was very nice and the bathroom was a nice size. The grounds were immaculate and pretty. I would absolutely return.

Yelp
Unique, cozy and charming inn that's conveniently located in the heart of Key West. Great value overall, however poolside drinks are rather pricey and there's a hidden-in-fine-print "amenity" fee that sneaks up after checkout. This fee includes must haves such as... "Complimentary continental breakfast, concierge services, in-room Wi-Fi, yoga mats, filtered water, coffee, tea accessible 24/7, in-room safe, Isabel welcome cocktails and afternoon poolside refreshers. And of course, Key West Roosters." Really?

Yelp
We stay here 3-4 times a year. Laura is awesome and always a pleasure. Quiet, peaceful atmosphere. Love sitting in the pool. Rooms are awesome. Location is excellent.
