Great pub was made to feel welcome as soon as I walked in amazing atmosphere great service. food van outside that that do pizzas and the best pizza I have had landloard let me put van in car park and stay there as many pints of Guinness was had lol A MUST Visit if In the area

A great pub in a remote location. Great selection of beer and the landlord, James, is a very friendly guy. The locals were very welcoming and made for a great night.

A lovely little gem of a pub! We dropped in when we stayed at Fanad lighthouse. Great service, great value pint!! 😀 The pizza van outside was excellent! What a perfect combo!!

This is a great little pub. The owner is very welcoming and there is great pizza available from the pizza truck out front. This place welcomes campervans in the spacious carpark at the rear.

Great spot for a couple of drinks or a bite to eat in an amazing location. We had our dinner here twice on a 2 night stay in the lighthouse. Staff were fantastic and the food was very tasty. Can't wait to go back!!

Such a fab wee pub near the Fanad Lighthouse! Lots of seating outside and great views! Definitely worth getting a Napoli pizza while the food van is there!

Great bar serving local lager and IPA. Fabulous views and a pizza van on site. Friendly staff and locals and our dog was made very welcome. It was a bonus to be able to stay overnight in our campervan behind the bar.

Grand little place to have a drink. Opens at 6pm on weekend. Staff and people were friendly and inviting

The food was good and the outdoor seating area great to enjoy a beer with a view! Seafood stew was delicious!

I have been in the Lighthouse Tavern many many times and it's truly an authentic Irish pub. This family owned establisment has been in existence for well over 100 years and you'll feel welcome from the moment you step inside the front door. The picture I posted is of the Fanad Head Lighthouse which is just a few hundred yards down the hill and from which the pub gets it's name. The scenery in the surrounding peninsula is stunning and the local people will make you feel very much at home. If you go to Ireland then you should not miss out on visiting this gem.

Best bar in Donegal, best bar in Ireland more like it. I've been going to Fanad for 30 years. The beer the scenery the staff, legendary.
