I love stopping in anytime I have free time when I'm in Aspen. Peter Lik's pictures are absolutely gorgeous. Plus the way they are mounted really makes them pop in the light. Definitely worth a trip. It is really expensive though.

For years I have admired, and acquired, Peter Lik’s photography. That changed recently after shopping at the Aspen retail store. I purchased a large format print, and in negotiating the price was offered a second print as an incentive. In concluding the sale we agreed on the sizes of both prints and made shipping arrangements. I was shocked when I received my photographs the following month and the size of the second print was not what had been agreed to. When I raised this issue with the store manager, he denied our agreement. The two individuals with me at the time of purchase both recall exactly which size had been offered by the store and attested to it, yet the store refused to do anything to correct their mistake – making it clear their intent was nefarious. I will never purchase another Lik and strongly warn others against this establishment. Be forewarned that this organization is not interested in fair dealing.

My most favorite of all photographers. I truly love his landscape art. The gallery is well presented and I could look at his work all day. I wouldn't be able to afford it, but worth checking out!!

Peter Lik is a super duper famous photographer that has galleries in cities sprinkled around the USA and Australia. Every chance I get I step into a Peter Lik gallery and I'm never disappointed. The friendly staff is quick to greet and talk to me and they love to show off the beautiful artwork on display. I need a P.L. Passport so I can get my gallery stamp! La Jolla check, Hawaii check, Las Vegas, check, A mansion to display his art...working on it!

You may have heard of Peter Lik even if his name doesn't ring a bell. He is the photographer that sold the most expensive photograph in the world, at $1,000,000. Crazy stuff. He happens to have a gallery in Aspen and my husband is a photographer, so we had to check it out. The gallery managers were SUPER friendly and walked us through the exhibit. They talked about the printing/photographing techniques used in each specific photo, which was really interesting. The photographs were gigantic and gorgeous - they almost had a surreal quality to them. We could never afford one in a million years, but it's nice to look.
