The best place I've ever stayed. I kept coming back here and can't wait to come back soon. Nuy and the rest of the staff are the best, so kind and helpful with a big heart. Good food, good rooms. Amazing time staying here. Came to surprise my brother, who stayed here, for his birthday. Loved the community vibes, people coming together to share dinner (included!). Rooms are basic, AC works well, it’s “like home” it requires a bit of responsibility. When you see toilet paper runs out soon, get new one in the main building. Vibes 10/10 Owner 20/10 *** super awesome, cutest biggest smile, fun, helpful! Rooms 7/10 Cleanliness 8/10 Breakfast 9/10 basic, included! Dinner 10/10 been always awesome! This place made my trip start in the best way possible. Nuy (the shinning owner) is a very kind and attentive host. The rooms are just perfect quality-price balance, but what's probably best is the atmosfere, which is actually like home. The stay included breakfast and dinner Nuy and his team made everyday. This is just incredible, especially if you are travelling solo, to have great talks and meet new people, which was my case, including a very special person 😊 The rental scooters are best price and quality also! Nuy will also help and provide you with transport to/from station or airport as well as any tour or activity you can think of. A place definitely to stay at if you go to Chiang Mai! When first checked in we were given a different room with bunk beds (what we originally booked for) we then got swapped to a different place with a double bed. The room was cleaned before our arrival as we met one of the volunteers cleaning, however the room was very dirty with dirty "towels" some old fruit from a previous guest was left in the fridge. The bed was extremely uncomfortable, neither of us had a decent night sleep. As a pro, Nuy, the owner is incredibly helpful. She provides free breakfast and dinner every day for her guests and free laundry (however the laundry was returned very damp and chucked in different baskets with other people's washing, so you just need to find your own whilst handling other people stuff). We rented a bike with Nuy and the price was one of the cheapest we found in Thailand, we had a puncture at the end of our rental and she told us not to worry as she would have paid for it. All in all the rooms/apartments are quite dirty and uncomfortable, Nuy is a whirlwind of enthusiasm with genuine intent to help her guests but maybe the support she gets from her volunteers isn't enough to help her maintain the place. Decent location, very close to the markets

Stayed here for 4 nights. The owner Nui is honestly the best host I’ve ever come across. She is very kind, friendly, and welcoming. They offer free breakfast, dinner, free laundry, and transportation to wherever you plan to go next. The dinner is buffet style, and WOW they make many variety of foods every night and they’re top notch delicious! Honestly, you can’t find anything better than this. When we had problems with our door locks, Sin (a volunteer) helped us to try open the door. He was very kind and friendly as well! If you’re ever in Chiangmai, definitely recommend Like Home!

Location is great, close to old town and new (by foot). Its a good place to meet people & socialise (very convivial). We had a private room not in the main building but another apartment around the corner. It was ok, bright & big with balcony & clean linens (simple but comfortable). In terms of value for money you absolutely cannot get better - this place is all-inclusive that means breakfast, dinner, laundry, scooter hire, water, wifi.. everything is free! We would stay again. The food was super, & we met some nice people. The cats are lovely too.

If you like cigarette and pot smoke with your meals you’ll appreciate Like Home. Dining is outdoors but can be crowded and there’s no designated no smoking area. Some of the smokers are very inconsiderate. |The room was not bad for the price. |Dinner was tasty.

Best stay in Chiang Mai!!! Nui is the most welcoming host you can imagine. She is a full power lady, managing everything and made things very easy for us!! Our stay here was fantastic and we highly recommend staying here! We‘ll be definitely be back soon! <3
