LILA Wood-Fired Taqueria

A small, casual Mexican restaurant on the main street. The tacos were delicious, and the complimentary chips served at the beginning were especially great. We also had churros for dessert. The staff were friendly and the service was good. I recommend it.

Honestly the taste, ambiance and service are great. The only thing I found they could improve is the temperature of the tacos, they were just warm when they arrived to the table. The homemade cola drink was so refreshing! Highly recommended: Queso fundido 🤌🏽😚 (awesome!!) Lamb Pastor tacos 🤤 Tuna tostada 🤤

Visited for dinner with my wife and infant daughter. The food was simply amazing and totally worth the slightly higher price. The ambience is very homely and reminded me of the small hole in the wall cafes = great food+ knowledgeable staff + no frills. We started with the chips + guacamole along with the coconut cream drink and date cola. Spot on to get your appetite going+ the salsa has the right amount of zing. For mains we had crab and shrimp tacos (mouthwatering and held the perfect crunch). Followed that with the chicken (not too good) and the cheesy lamb gringo (food coma by this stage). We wrapped up the meal with the perfectly crunchy churros and dark chocolate. Special shout out to the staff for getting us some avocado slices for the kiddo. She enjoyed herself a lot.

Some tacos are amazing (shrimp), some others are ok (steak) and one was not edible (the special that we took a bite and left). It’s dog friendly. No valet and difficulty parking at peak hours.

disgusting 🤮 very dirty place!!!!! The seats, pillows, sofas and tables are all scratched and stained!!!! Half of the menu is missing! The menu is so poor that you will remain hungry and half of this poverty is not available! You will be offered to chew raw shrimp. I ordered coffee! They brought a terrible cup, broken in two places and scratched!!! How can you show such disrespect to guests!!! This is terrible. The waiter called someone else from the staff and in a semi-rude tone explained to us that this is normal for this establishment. If you want to feel disrespect, hunger and dirt, this is the place for you. PS coffee untested

It’s a small tucked in place you wouldn’t think twice about but it’s the best Mexican place in town. We always go there when we crave really authentic food as each ingredient of every dish is just superb. Thank you Hurley for an excellent service the other day 🫶🏻
