I stayed here for one night due to trains back to Stockholm falling victim to some maintenance work and I must say, it was a lovely little hotel as the name suggests.
Check In was a little bit of a fiddle, though nothing too bad. I'm happy to wait for a little bit while the door phone is answered to, though this does suggest the security of the place overnight is pretty good.
Check In ended up being very quick and the keyless system is actually pretty good, security is one outstanding feature this place does very well.
The room was incredibly clean and well equipped with everything to hold you over for overnight stays. As is standard with Swedish hotels, there is no kettle on the room to make tea/coffee. The bed was very comfy and the bathroom was really good and I had a nice shower too that night. Curtains felt a little short against the windows but nothing too drastic.
Breakfast in the morning was pretty good, everything you typically expect from a Swedish breakfast band much to the delight of some foreign guests, no Sill. Bread, cheese, meats, yoghurt, cereal with some orange juice and coffee is absolutely fine by my standards to start my day.
All in all, a pretty good stay. Reception is a little bit of a fiddle and I don't really know how check in would work when reception is closed (At weekend, it is closed from 2PM) and I'd like to know more about that.
But would I stay again? Absolutely. For the price I'd say this certainly fits the bill and the location us really good for those of you spending a night or two in one of the loveliest small cities in Sweden.
