I don’t like leaving bad reviews but my eggs Benny was hard to enjoy. The flavours were way off and the potatoes were average. Please do better or find a better hollandaise sauce because that was hard to swallow

Lillipad Café was a first-time visit for us, after a few family members kept recommending it — they go there all the time, so we figured it must be good. And honestly, they weren’t wrong. The meals are a great size, proper portions that actually fill you up, and you definitely feel like you’re getting good value. The menu has heaps of options too, especially for vegans or anyone who’s a bit particular with what they eat, so it was easy for all of us to find something we liked. The staff were awesome — friendly, welcoming, and really interactive, which made the whole experience feel easy and enjoyable. Even though the place was pretty busy, the meals still came out in a reasonable amount of time and tasted fresh. For our first visit, it really lived up to the hype. I can see why our family go there regularly. Great food, great portions, and genuinely good vibes. We’ll definitely be back, and I’d happily recommend Lillipad Café to everyone.

We had a fantastic breakfast this morning at the Lilypad Café in Cairns. The service was truly outstanding—super friendly and quick. There was a great selection of dishes, and the portion sizes were spot on. I had the eggs Benny with homemade hollandaise sauce, and it was top-notch—perfectly poached eggs, quality salmon, and everything tasted fresh. Honestly, couldn't fault a thing. Definitely a must-visit if you're in the area!

I ordered the Lilli's Obsession (Crepes), and it tasted awful, and I am someone who will eat basically anything with chocolate. The fruit is so obviously frozen and just dumped into the hot crepes, so by the time they got to me, the whole thing was cold, and the fruit looked so unappealing. The cream was weak, coffee was basically a cup full of oat milk. I haven't been impressed with much food in Cairns, but this was by far the worst.

seriously phenomenal. we got the turkish breakfast & the godmother, and they were both delicious. the veggies were so fresh !!! insanely generous portion sizes (it's like two full meals' worth). really nice staff too. favorite meal in cairns for sure :)

I had breakfast burrito same as my husband. Our friends had different food. Cannot remember how many times I’ve been there. It’s always so good and I can’t finish the whole thing. Coffee, smoothies are good too.

We ordered the bruschetta on Turkish bread and a turkey sandwich with cranberry spread on Turkish bread. The dishes were full of flavor. I highly recommend an iced latte on ice. They serve great tasting espresso. Minus one star because the eating area seems grungy inside. In fairness, Lillipad leases the space and kitchen inside a dive bar.
