Lilu Lichtfestival Luzern

This was my second time seeing the LILU light festival. It is good for kids and if you want to take professional photos of Luzern's famous sites. This time, they did not put lights on Chapel Bridge due to energy crisis, I guess. The animation at the church in old town might bring a chortle, but that's pretty much the extent of the installations. The wooden bridge at KKL was so slippery that I saw many non attentive walkers, including me, slipping down. At least that made some memories :) What I liked the most about this festival was buzz the streets had because of people coming out of their homes on an otherwise cold Sunday evening.

First time attending the Lilu Festival (Luzern’s Light Festival) and I was enchanted by the experience. The light art-installations were awe-inspiring, funny and poetic, especially the one in the church (but I wasn’t a fan of the one at the casino. It was a bit too simple for my taste. My Philipps Hue Lights sync to my Spotify playlist can do the same thing a slightly better ;).

Very disappointing. Shows neither pretty nor impressive. We came from Zurich, it was not worth it.

A magical event every year, the art students did an amazing job this year.

Visit Luzern during the beautiful LILU festival. Buildings are beautifully decorated with lights, get a nice drink and enjoy the cosey atmosphere.

One a year a must see in lucerne

We had a wonderful time and liked everything we saw. Looking forward to visiting the festival again in 2021.

Excellent light show can be seen in the "Hofkirche" (Church).
