Lily's Pad Cafe

We had an awesome time at Lily's Pad cafe today, the food was delicious, fresh and nicely done. Atmosphere was calm and comfortable - an easy place to relax and enjoy your time. Elke took great care of us, explaining the menu clearly and assisting us with dietary requirements. She was amazing, with a lovely personality and it’s easy to see how much she contributes to the cafe. Big thank you to the kitchen for accomodating our special requests and to all the Staff for a very enjoyable brunch experience. We'll definitely be back!

Had the Corned beef with Hash and a Mexican Chicken pie. The beef goes well with the Hash, it was really nice, but it's a tad too salty for my taste if you taste it on its own. As an Asian, I cannot imagine the potential for the beef to go along with rice 🍚

Such a gorgeous little spot and the service was lovely. Everyone who worked there was attentive, friendly and understanding that one of us had a dairy allergy and catered to it accordingly. The food was so nice, lots of vegetarian options, but meat also. The fresh juice was perfect. You can make your own, all fresh ingredients and comes out chilled. Very tasty. Everyone on my table agreed. Only one thing, they ran out of hash browns and for a Sunday morning that's a bit odd cause we were all hangin for a hash brown. So maybe make sure you have an over supply of hashbrowns for the weekend ;)

Very good cafe. The service was slow, despite us being one of the only tables present when the cafe first opened. The food was delicious, coffee was great and the staff were lovely. An overwhelming amount of coeliac safe gluten free options, which looked/sounded amazing. Recommend - would have got 5 stars if the wait wasn’t as long.

Atmosphere: The cafe has a nice ambience, and the seats were arranged in a way that still gave good distance from the next table. Food: The corned beef was one of the two items on the menu that was a recommendation by the operator/ head wait staff/ manager. Whilst it didn't have any sauce, it was still tasty and went pretty well with the hash. I liked it. Unfortunately, I couldn't say the same about the exotic mushroom breakfast. The herbs and garlic used to season the mushrooms were so burnt that it left an extremely bitter taste on the mushrooms. The fried enoki mushroom was also over-fried , and it totally changed the flavour profile that wasn't pleasant to the taste buds. We were offered a replacement meal on the house (see more below on my write-up on service for more details). Even though we requested for everything to be made fresh, we suspect they did reuse some of the mushrooms again from the first plate as they still had some burnt herbs and garlic in the second plate. Whilst it was better the second time around, we still had to spend time trying to flick off the very burnt herbs and garlic. We could see they attempted to add in new herbs and garlic. Coffee: It was not too bad but a little surprise that they didn't have coffee art. Service: It was a mixed experience. Some of the wait staff were not very experienced. When we brought to the attention of one of the younger waitresses of the burnt garlic, she claimed that was just a type of mushroom. The service was only salvaged by whom I believe may have been the operator/ head wait staff/ manager. Unfortunately didnt catch her name, but she took the time to listen to what we were trying to express and made the offer to replace the dish on the house. It was very commendable of her. Though disappointed by the kitchen staff. Given the hit and miss with the food + mixed service experience, it would take an uplift of the food quality for us to return.

The coffee, food, and service were absolutely amazing! The place isn’t the nicest, but the positives definitely make up for it. The staff and the chef were so friendly and kind — truly a wonderful experience!

Lily’s Pad cafe is a hidden gem in the blue mountains! The all day breakfast menu is awesome and the lunch options were great too. I also got a WHOLE BOWL OF COFFEE for $6.50 which is insane. If you’re ever in leura this place is worth a visit 😊

We ordered eggs Benedict and it’s the smallest portion we had. They also used the tiniest eggs. It was served on a small croffle. Looks very stingy for the price they charge. I had to zoom in the photo coz it’s too small. We left hungry.
