Lovely restaurant with a small intimate front patio outside. We enjoyed our brunch - I had the crispy chicken sandwich which was surprisingly juicy and flavorful, while my sweetie had the biscuits & gravy - also a hit. We died & went to heaven sampling some amazing corn beignets... just WOW! Great spot also friendly service.

Unfortunately, this was a very disappointing experience. We waited an hour just to be seated, and then another 40 minutes after ordering to receive our food. The Eggs Benedict were especially underwhelming: the eggs were too runny, served on a paper-thin English muffin with a nearly transparent slice of ham. The side salad was wilted and unappetizing (see photo), and the drip coffee was badly overburned. Nothing about the meal or service justified the long wait. I would not recommend this place.

Food is very good and good pricing! breakfast omelette was gooood with alot of bacon in it and the potatoes were crunchy and fantastic! Definitely going back! Waitress was kind and polite and helpful. Chill vibes and atmosphere

This restaurant is a delightful fusion of art and flavor, offering an experience as beautiful as it is delicious. The cozy ambiance, filled with artistic touches like delicate floral arrangements and thoughtful decor, sets the perfect stage for intimate conversations over a cup of coffee with loved ones. The menu is a testament to creativity, featuring a variety of personalized dishes that are both visually stunning and rich in unique flavors. Each bite feels like a masterpiece, crafted with care and attention to detail. It’s the kind of place that invites you to linger and promises to draw you back for more.

Is Lily's going out of business soon?!😳 Short staffed, out of the food item entree I came here for. Limited "healthy" options. Dining room is "uninviting", so I moved myself outside. The Ahi appetizer was actually pretty tasty 😋

Google
Jonah and Ava and the Chef and kitchen team brought us a SPECTACULAR dining experience! Amazing drinks, Salads were crisp; the entrees are packed with flavor ! The fillet was amazing, the Cabernet Short ribs DELICIOUS! The risotto was amazing and the desserts were TO DIE FOR! Flavor packed and a memorable meal! Really special dinner! THANKS JONAH and AVA and CHEF!

This is a great little brunch place, in Dunsmuir. We got there , chicken wings, which were finger licking delicious, little on the sweeter side. Their Denver omelette was delicious as well. My wife got their hummus bowl, which she said was pretty good. They also allow dogs in outdoor sitting. Highly recommended if you are in the area.

Google
My daughter and discovered this gem last year, and cannot be more pleased :) There's outdoor seating in a pleasant garden setting often with a fella playing acoustic guitar which adds to the ambiance of the experience. Inside seating is cozy, and family friendly. Mary and Julia are both delightful as hostesses and waitresses, always keeping the coffee (which is very good!) flowing, and water glasses filled. The burgers are a true 1/2 pound +, and made just as requested, and they don't skimp on the side of fries either. While prices have gone up across the nation with many restaurants decreasing portion size, not Lily's! You will leave full and satisfied. Add this place to your itinerary if you're coming to, or passing through Shasta City :)

Yelp
Didn't expect much, but this place absolutely delivered. One of the better spots open on Christmas Day near Mt. Shasta, it had a cozy ambience and festive decor. The wait was longer than usual, but then came the Risotto, and wow. One bite, and I was convinced this was no ordinary kitchen. I've had risotto from fancy Italian joints in my city, but this? Top 5 in the U.S., hands down. Perfect texture, special rice, fresh, handpicked ingredients--it was absurdly good. Honestly, it has no right to be this amazing, especially in a "middle-of-nowhere" mountain town. This dish alone is worth the trip. The tiramisu? Just as incredible. Soft, not too sweet, and absolutely perfect. Here's the thing: Mt. Shasta is known for its weird vibes--aliens, energy vortexes, you name it. And now I'm convinced extraterrestrial chefs or time-traveling Italian ghosts are running this kitchen. There's no other explanation for food this phenomenal. Big respect to them for staying open on Christmas Day, too. Lots of locals, great vibes, and an experience you won't forget. Make a reservation--this place is a must!

Yelp
Went here excited to try their food as one of my friends I was with had some great experiences in the past. The 4 of us walked in and was greeted by the hostess who had just finished taking an order over the phone. We asked for a table and she said for us to sit on the bench (which sat 2 people) and wait and then walked in the back. We thought it was a little odd that she didn't just tell us to walk a few steps further to the closest table that already had menus on it but just assumed she wanted to hurry and put that phone order in. She then came out with a pot of coffee and proceeded to go around to the few tables that had customers to see if any of them needed refills for their coffee and completely ignored us. A few moments later 2 other customers walked in and she immediately greeted them and sat them. We couldn't help but feel unwelcome and left. We got the sense that this establishment may prefer to cater to locals only as we were vacationing from out of town and picked up on the vibe quickly that visitors are either welcomed or they're not. If this is that case then just put a sign on the door that says for locals only rather than going out of your way to be rude and waste our time. If that's not the case then that hostess should be fired. My friend was embarrassed and felt bad that she even talked this place up to begin with and will never be returning here again. Went to Gigis up the street and had the warmest welcome and the most amazing breakfast!

Yelp
I'm n a road trip I found this darling little spot for lunch on Yelp (yay Yelp!) It said the closed at 2:00 and we arrived about 20 til so we were afraid they wouldn't serve us, but the friendly waitress promptly sat us and we enjoyed a delicious lunch! My husband had a Caesar with grilled prawns & a cold beer, I had Lily's salad with grilled prawns & a glass of Sauvignon Blanc. The prawns were cooked perfectly! It was just what we were looking for and delicious! Their breakfast menu looks terrific! If we're ever in the area earlier we would love to try it! Thanks for the great service & delicious food!
google avatar

Yelp
Ambience was nice and they had a wonderful guitar player playing Spanish guitar style music. My husband got the Caesar salad and said it was the best he ever had, the small size was more than enough. I had the small plate of the pear beet salad which was a generous size and very good too. We both had a cup of the wonderful homemade navy bean soup and split the chicken sandwich which was very tasty. Our server was efficient and friendly. I had the Gin Daisy drink which was very good. We shared the bananas foster which was good, a little too much syrup and it melted the ice cream too quickly, we will definitely eat here again when we are in town.

Yelp
I asked for a well-done burger, but got a $18 flavorless hockey puck. The corn beignets sounded good but I didn't taste any smoky cheddar cheese at all and it didn't mention some sweet (I'm assuming honey drizzled over them). They were ok but wouldn't get again. This restaurant sure has gone downhill since Ron and Arlene owned it. I keep trying it at least once a year and have yet to have a meal that was worth coming back anytime soon.

Yelp
Highlights are the POTATOES! They are so darn good and they provide all the fixings. Banana chocolate pancakes were also popular with our group. Food came hot. Friendly efficient service. Relaxed atmosphere!

Yelp
We decided to visit mount shasta for this weekend as a ski destination. Searched through options for restaurants and Lilly's came up. The service is friendly and fast. All ingredients are home made, their short ribs was broiled in red wine , tasty and must to try. Also their butter is homemade as well . Highly recommended

Yelp
Very cute place ........ but the food is meh....... We were a party of 4 and only 1 of us liked our food. It's just very bland. And our server seemed kinda done dealing with people ........

Yelp
***THE BEST RESTAURANT IN MT SHASTA*** Over a year ago we spoke with and dined at various recommended restaurants in the Mt. Shasta area to host an intimate reception for our special day. The quality of communication, food, venue, and service provided by Lily's significantly exceeded the alternatives making it an easy decision. Having dined here multiple times throughout the past few years, we've thoroughly enjoyed quite a few items from the breakfast & lunch menu, but we always come back at dinner for the ever so tender Cabernet Braised Beef and Seared Salmon. The Za'Atar Grilled Chicken and Ribeye Steak are also very flavorful choices. There are ample choices on the drink menu. Today our server Olivia created what was probably the best, smoothest, smokey, Old Fashioned I've ever had. The staff is always kind and attentive to our needs, items come out in a timely manner, and the venue has such a relaxing atmosphere. Occasionally you get treated with music from local performers. Our visit to Mt. Shasta is never complete without visiting Lily's.

Yelp
I love this quaint restaurant in Shasta. The b Bananas Foster French Toast is amazing!!
google avatar

Jeni P.

Yelp
Cute place, good food. Dining can be indoors or out. Liked the pancakes, not a huge fan of the corn beignets. Love that you can bring your furry friend and sit outside. Parking can be a challenge. Service was fine.
google avatar

Monica L.

Yelp
We had a really nice breakfast here outside and had a nice waitress serve us. I ordered the two eggs which came with bacon and potatoes. Very good but I wish it also came with toast! My daughter had the French toast but didn't love it. My son had a kids breakfast with pancakes, egg and bacon. He enjoyed it. My husband had one of the Benedict's and enjoyed it. Great place! Would be back.

Eashma B.

Yelp
A Calming Gem in Mt. Shasta! Lilys Restaurant offers a serene dining experience with delicious, well-portioned food. They allow dogs outside, which was a huge plus. We'll definitely return whenever we're in the area!

Yelp
We had just gotten into Mount Shasta and checked into The Shasta Inn. We were starving but didn't want pizza or burgers. We made a reservation at Lily's, so glad we did. We started off with the Charcuterie Board, then my husband had the CABERNET BRAISED BEEF, cooked to perfection. I had the new addition to their menu, THAI PRAWNS & CHICKEN. This dish was absolutely delicious, highly recommend . The dessert choice that was recommended by our waitress was so delicious, lemon lovers will enjoy it immensely. It was too hot to sit outside and the inside was air conditioned. It made for a very pleasant experience.

Yelp
Very good food but took forever to get served. That said the breakfast potatoes were seasoned good enough for the wait.
google avatar

Lacey E.

Yelp
I really enjoyed our meal and the drinks! Service was great. The inside is slightly drab and dated but sitting outside was just beautiful. I ate here awhile back and wasn't impressed but I think they have a new chef or something because it was really great! It took longer than expected since it wasn't very busy, to get our food but I never mind a wait of the meal is delicious.

Yelp
Lovely patio, great service, wonderful food & drink! I had a Bloody Mary, salad, and tapenade/pita. All fresh and tasty!

Charlotte O.

Yelp
Amazing atmosphere and food! The plates and service is worth the prices. Definitely recommending!

Yelp
Super cute restaurant tucked away from the busier Main Street. Lots of flowers decorate the restaurant and makes it like a cute cottage (to me at least). It was moderately busy when we went at around 4pm. It seems like they're pretty well known for their brunch options but obviously I went in for dinner. Solid number of items on their menu and decided to get their braised beef and filet mignon (?) steak. Both were very tender! The potatoes that came with the steak were sweet, cooked to perfection, and salty enough that it made me going back for more. Their dessert (some sort of cake) was on the very sweet side and not my favorite. Overall excellent food for if you want a nice dinner. I'm sure their brunch is also very tasty.

Yelp
Service was excellent. Our server was all alone at lunch but had it under control like a pro. She had a younger girl helping out. Good food. We had eggs Benedict. I recommend upgrading to garlic fries. Place was clean even bathroom was spotless

Yelp
I am happy to update my review and say that we had an outstanding meal at Lily's last night. We had family in from out of town and were celebrating two birthdays. Our waitress took such great care of us and was so nice. And the food was just wow. I was in heaven with my pasta. We also got the braised beef, the salmon, a burger, and the trout. So delicious! And obviously very fresh ingredients. We also splurged and got one of each dessert. The cheesecake was not our table's favorite but it was good. The carrot cake and chocolate cake were so good though. We really just had a great dinner and I am glad we gave Lily's another chance for this special occasion. Looking forward to going back!

Yelp
The food, service and quiet ambiance was appreciated!! The greens, figs and carrots finished the plate !! Yummy!

Yelp
Our family of four travelled from San Jose to ski at Mount Shasta. Came to the restaurant starving and it surely didn't disappoint!! The pasta was a lot better than Bay Area restaurants and our server Jonah was very nice. Definitely recommend!

Yelp
Recommend making a reservation! You can bring your friendly dog and sit outside! Super friendly staffs!! The food was delicious! Come hungry!

Yelp
Good food at decent prices. Don't expect big city unique cuisine but the salmon rice pilaf and asparagus was good and the service was excellent.

Yelp
Went for breakfast today. First impressions is that Lilys is a bit dated with the green carpet oak tables and black chairs. Found it was a bit dirty in spots, dust on the blinds and fake plants, carpet in need of cleaning, sticky menus and chairs. Definitely could use an update from the 90s. Rear parking is great but if you have a visible back of the kitchen entrance make sure it does not look like crap with dirt, old appliances and dirt everywhere.. Service is friendly and attentive. Food selection is regular breakfast fare. Went with the Arnold Benedict. Wife had the 2 egg combo. Well food is mediocre. My Benedict were bland on a soggy English muffin. The homestyle potatoes were not fresh and probably refried from yesterday. Wife's eggs were too raw for sunny side up. Same potatoes. $16 for each is kind of steep as well. Not recommended

Yelp
Very cute and cozy spot Service was great and food was really good Highly recommend, Definitely coming back :))

Yelp
Believe the hype. This place was wonderful! I'd been trying to eat here for years but it was either closed or packed with people and a long wait. I had the short rib benedict and it was full of unctuous delicious goodness. The place is super charming, nice, and clean. I'd love to try for dinner sometime.
google avatar

Yelp
The finest food in Mt. Shasta for dinners. (I haven't eaten there for breakfast often, but I hear great things). The prices are higher than anywhere else, but like the old saying goes, 'you get what you pay for'. Just a really well done menu, obviously very influenced by French cuisine. The spot is also family owned and I know they take good care of their employees. It's generally a very quiet and tasteful atmosphere. Certainly if you're looking for something more than casual in Mt. Shasta, Lilys is where you want to go. P.S. The desserts are incredible, too.
google avatar

Timothy D.

Yelp
Nice, quaint, and very warming for coming off a long drive. It really felt nice, the slow, and quiet entry. The corn beignets were a great starter, and their pasta dishes were very well done.

Brian L.

Yelp
We came here for a late breakfast. Service was exceptional. We really loved the Corn Beignets. They were soft yet crispy on the outside, amazing.
google avatar

Aimee T.

Yelp
Literally the best restaurant experience I've had in mt Shasta & this is my 6th time coming! We got the mushroom Benedict, mushroom grilled cheese, Brussel sprouts salad & the corn beignets. Everything was AMAZING. The service was spectacular & the ambiance was so cute! They have a bed & breakfast vibe going on. Indoor & outdoor seating & we were able to enjoy a live musician. 10000/10 definitely wanna go back!

Yelp
On my recent trip to the Shasta area. Stopped off at Lilly's for dinner. Sadly the trout was already sold out, disappointed after reading all the reviews. Ended up ordering the Scallop & Prawns, Salmon and Chicken. The ambiance in the room was pleasant. The staff was amazing. For the most part, the food was above par. Not sure what it was on my chicken dish but I got ill. Chicken tasted fine but the rice was extremely sour. Took a couple of bites then avoided it. Sadly I had stomach issues that evening, throughout the next day, making my 5 hour commute home uncomfortable. It happens, so I don't hold anything against them. Again, the staff did their best to make the most of our evening. The other members in our group had no issues. They ordered the potatoes. In the Shasta area, it was nice and would return.

Yelp
It was delicious and the people there were very nice to us! The feel was very nice and very welcoming. Definantly 5 stars!
google avatar

Shauna B.

Yelp
Food was great, we all very much enjoyed our meal. The waitress wouldn't split our check which was weird to me as we had 3 different families. I used to be a server and it's not a big deal at all and makes it so much easier for people. Otherwise it was good food.
google avatar

Angela S.

Yelp
We were pleasantly surprised at the eclectic menu and environment. The food was excellent, I enjoyed the short ribs Benedict for breakfast. And the service was also great. I adore Lily's.
google avatar

Michele M.

Yelp
Busy place on the weekend, but didn't have to wait long to be seated. Ambiance is nice and not real noisy or brightly lit. Service is excellent, prompt and friendly. Tried their mushroom Benedict, which was delicious. They ask how you want your poached eggs, which is a first. You have a choice of home fries or cheesy grits. I had the home fries, which were lightly seasoned and crispy on the outside, which I appreciate. The English muffin was lightly toasted. Yay! So many places don't do that. However, I would have liked a little more hollandaise sauce. Decaf is fresh and I can get actual milk rather that the preservative-laden "creamer" with it. Place looks like a house and nicely landscaped with some outdoor seating. Most people don't know this but there's patking in the back. If I'm ever back in the area, I'll stop here again.
google avatar

John M.

Yelp
Lilly's egg Benedict's are awesome. Probably the best I can remember. Their French toast is good (not great, but good, missing almond or orange extract in the egg dip). The French toast serving is huge, four full half slices. Coffee is good too...but the egg Benedict is so good we ate before remembering to take pictures. Absolutely recommend stopping at Lilly's. Note about the people who complain about service...chill out, your in Shasta, it's absolutely beautiful. Breathe in the clean fresh air, slow down and enjoy the deihcuous food.
google avatar

Sandeep S.

Yelp
Best breakfast I've had in a while. The mushroom Benedict was a delight. The waitress was pleasant and the place has a cozy feel to it.
google avatar

Li G.

Yelp
This time we tried the breakfast. Great place to have a big breakfast. Forget to take the picture of my Denver Omelette. The ham inside is so yummy. I will say awesome omelette. The fresh toast is tasty. Coffee is okay. Prime rib is good but the fingerling potatoes is really above the bar and lift the dish. I don't like the cheesecake much, but I will say it is fine. Cool place to eat at this town. Love it. Our waiter Mo is very kind. :)
google avatar

Yvette L.

Yelp
It's a cute little place. The coffee is good but not as remarkable as all the other reviews state. It may also have been because I had coffee at the tail end of lunch. It tasted bitter as though it was the end of the pot. But not bad... so... the service was great. My server was kind and even made me a reservation for the following morning because I wanted to go back and try the eggs Benedict, but I was no able to make it back in and had to cancel my reservation. I had the Denver omelette. It was pretty good. The ham was a nice thickness with a sweet yet smoky flavor. The ham was the reason I wanted to go back and try the Benedict. The eggs on the omelette though, tasted like the premade box egg mixture. All in all it was still good. The potatoes though, I could have eaten a whole plate of those. They were seasoned in what tasted like rosemary and parsley. I'm not quite sure but they were DELICIOUS. I also had a piece of chocolate cake for dessert. So good!
google avatar

Alex B.

Yelp
I can see why this place has a pretty bad Facebook rating and a poor Google review rating, we decided to try this place during our stay in Shasta new years weekend, the food is atrociously over priced, we paid $52 for 3 small sized meals, they forgot my cheesy grits, the genius of the year award goes to the waitress who tried to fit 4 containers in a small bag plus the syrups, creamer and butter, I had to hold the bag the whole ride back, it's impossible to get ahold of them over the telephone and there's no online order system in place, would not spend my hard earned money here again. Another family owned business that thinks just because they're family run they can run it however they want, only a matter of time until your bottom line suffers, black bear in shasta has been there for many many years, this place is practically new and it sucks.
google avatar

Brandy P.

Yelp
Food was excellent, service was ok. The outdoor patio is great. Dog friendly. Plenty of shade. I don't live in Shasta, but I would return if given the chance.

Jasmine G.

Yelp
Beautiful restaurant with excellent service. Great food and there's a guy playing guitar with beautiful music. Great ambiance. Love this restaurant in Mt. Shasta

Andrea O.

Yelp
Quaint environment and nice window seats to enjoy the scenery. Most amazing breakfast! So delicious! Compliments to the chef. Definitely recommend.
google avatar

Kevin L.

Yelp
I had the Thai dish, I think it was a little overboard. The food was good but was also drowning in peanut sauce. This dish needed a lot more rice at the same time the taste of the rice was off. Don't know what kind of water they were using to cook it in. The dish did have potential.
google avatar

Charles T.

Yelp
Awesome service, great breakfast. Was staying for the week visiting my sister, and she recommended this place. Will definitely come back when I'm in town again.
