A place worth visiting. Very interesting things to learn about this castle. Guns, swords, rooms, church architecture and loads of other things to see with beautiful view on top of the castle. Stairs are steep and may be difficult for some to get moving in there. There is underground, ground floor, first floor and the top of the castle.

Very interesting! Lots of displays including coinage through the ages, firearms and assorted weaponry. The lower floor contained many tombstones and it was interesting to see the how the successive developments had built on the earlier structures. The daily ticket from the Department of Antiquities is a good idea if you plan to visit multiple locations.

Limassol Castle is a fascinating historical site and a great way to delve into Cyprus’s rich history. At only €4.50 per person, it’s very reasonably priced for the experience it offers. The museum inside provides interesting exhibits and artifacts, showcasing the castle’s storied past and its role in the region’s history. At this time of year, there’s no need to pre-book tickets in advance, making it easy to plan a spontaneous visit. The castle’s architecture and the surrounding area are also lovely for photos. Don’t miss the rooftop for a charming view of the city and sunset . Highly recommend for history buffs and casual visitors alike!

Interesting to see an old castle from the inside. It has a museum inside, with quite interesting pieces. The view from the roof over the city is also nice. Entrance is 4,50€.

We did not go in to the castle but just based on the outside, it does not look like your typical castle. It was not too crowded so that was nice.

Limassol Castle offers a great experience with a variety of interesting artifacts and exhibits that showcase the region's history. However, some of the showpieces aren't original to the castle and were brought in from elsewhere, which slightly detracts from the authenticity. Still, it's a worthwhile visit for anyone interested in the area's past.

A small old castle-fort built on top of some church ruins as some of the texts inside describe and as is also evident by the pictures. It even had an olive mill which is a clear indication of it being more civilian-focused rather than military which is not something you would assume if you were to stay inside seeing all of the weapons and armor that the knights defending it wore.
