Nice little zoo, well worth visiting. €5 entry per adult and it will take you around an hour to visit all of the enclosures. The animals seem very well kept here, seem relaxed and have large spaces to roam. Variety of animals, however most of them are a species of bird. We seen hippos, deer, flamingos, parrots and many more. Would be nice if there was food available to feed the animals. None the less, a great place to check out!

This is a fantastic small zoo that is perfect for a quick visit, especially considering how affordable the tickets are. While there aren't a massive number of animals, the ones they do have are incredibly charming. The highlights for me were definitely the lemurs and the small-clawed otters. The otters are absolutely adorable and very high-energy—you can spend ages just watching them play! Pro Tip for the Otters: There is a glass partition with small openings where the otters can actually reach out to you. If you bring a small stone or something shiny, they love to interact with it and will try to grab it. Getting to "hold hands" or touch their paws through the glass was such a unique and memorable experience! Highly recommend this spot if you’re looking for a low-cost, high-interaction afternoon. A quick note on the "shiny objects" tip: While otters are incredibly curious, some zoos have strict rules about what guests can hand to animals to ensure their safety (and to make sure they don't accidentally swallow something they shouldn't!).

This entire zoo appears to be cared for by 1 member of staff. It’s so cheap to get in please go and support them. €5 each! As an educated ex zoo keeper, the animals are well cared for and are behaviourally sound and appear ‘happy’ Some of the species grouped together can be questionable but it’s a small zoo so they are making do with the space. Typically done in 1-2 hours. Plenty of parking around the city within walking distance.

It's not a bad zoo. It's just very small. The entry fee is also based on that fact which I appreciate (5 euros per adult). I find this price very reasonable considering the selection of animals in there. there is a small shop inside to buy water, ice cream etc.

Limassol Zoo is a small, simple city zoo located inside the Municipal Gardens. It’s mainly an outdoor walking area with a limited selection of animals. The visit is short and relaxed, more like a pleasant stroll than a major attraction.

The Zoo is small and I can imagine the living conditions for some of this animals are very poor, especially for "winter" animals which have to deal with scorching Cyprian sun. It's a nice place to visit and spend an hour or two but they should improve on the animal habitats.

I've had a nice experience, but the zoo was smaller than I expected. Fortunately, it didn't affect my visiting. Despite being tiny compared to other zoos, the diversitiy of animals was really good - monkeys, cows, ducks, geese, patagonian maras (type of rodent), meerkats, hippos, kangaroos, owls, turtles and deers. Worth visiting if you live close by or if you don't know what to do in Limassol.
