Yum! Had a fantastic breakfast, super yummy...beautiful crispy edge potato rosi eggs Benedict for me, great big breakfast for hubby and kids pancake stack, all went down a treat. Well presented, delicious and excellent service. Going back tomorrow 😁👌

The woman at the counter put up her shittiest face because I took time to explain their menu to my family who don’t speak English. We ordered cooked breakfast and drinks, and that’s the kind of service we get. Not a good representation of NZ!

A perfect end to a family morning at the park: great choice kiddies menu which the little ones loved, and brunch options for grown ups were superb. Staff were wonderful- particularly with boisterous kids, and looked after us well.

Two good things and two bad things: 1. The place is very nice. Nice buzzy feel to it. Very clean and the counter food looks absolutely beautiful and unique. 2. The young dark-haired guy (with specs) on the counter is a real asset to the place. Also the Japanese lady is lovely and friendly. 3. That was the worst omelette I have ever had. It was tough, overcooked, dry and completely flavourless. 4. The other counter staff could not be more disinterested if they tried. I'm so tired of walking up to a counter and having a young woman drift over to me without a smile or a hello and staring vacuously at me as if wondering why I am there. For goodness sake, your job is to meet and greet so just say something like "hi, how can i help". It's not complicated! I should have ordered something else.

A good breakfast in Rotorua, street parking all around(need to pay). Coffees are good, not great. You need to order at the counter, girls are mostly busy with doing coffees. Just could be a better service for the prices they are asking there.

We caught lunch at Lime Cafe on our last day in Rotorua and the group couldn't stop talking about the atmosphere and food. The risotto was indulgent, the pancakes magical and big breakfast a tummy full. Loved our drinks and the light, bright table we got for our big group indoors. We'll be back!

Yelp
Came here twice for the waffles with peach and berries. Really tasty and very nicely presented. Bacon and eggs were tasty too, including the ciabatta toast. Very busy at 10am on a Saturday!

Yelp
Went twice. Yesterday was great, it was a rainy day so we wanted to go somewhere close for breakfast and coffee. Walked in, got served quickly. Orders were taken and the food came out very fast. We were pleased so we went back today again. Unfortunately they took a long time to serve us this time and our food took even longer to come out than for us to be served. The food was awesome on both occasions though. Although yes, they're definitely overpriced but Rotorua is a town based on tourism so I understand why. I'd recommend this place to a friend.

Yelp
Lunch here in December 2011. Excellent and beautiful dishes. One of my most memorable meals in NZ.

Yelp
Lovely cafe, with about 7 or 8 tables inside and a nice outdoor area which would be superb in summer however probably a bit exposed when the wind is coming off the lake. This place is often busy which is a good sign and it's frequented by both tourists and locals - another good sign!! The service is ok: service is so dependent on the staff and - as we all know - a bad wait-person can ruin a cafe!! I think the waitress may have been in training on the day we went- she was hesitant but she was fine. We didn't have to wait too long and when our Eggs Benedict and Salmon Bagels came they were delicious. The coffee hit the spot so no complaints there. Our breakfast for 3 came to $75-odd, tourist prices but the rent for the location is probably high too, and eating out isn't just about the food. I would definitely recommend this cafe.

Yelp
Lime Café on Whakaue Street towards the lake in Rotorua I have been wanting to go to several times I have been visiting the area. I think what draws me is that it's always busy. However Queens Birthday was not the time to visit. Our coffee's got muddled up with the people next to us and I am still wired today from the STRONG coffee I accidently got. The menu is interesting eg. Cream Rice for brunch but I decided on good old Eggs Benedict. The portions were generous and the presentation nice. The people next to us didn't seem to get the things they asked for and then things they didn't but as my 2 friends and I ordered the same food it was a dead given. The cabinets looked full of yummy fare and I liked the modern relaxed feel of the place. It has a nice outdoor area for Summer and I would go back when they are not so busy.

Yelp
Walk into this beautiful Cafe in a rainy day. Waitress smiles to me soon clears the wetness feel. Nice latte and good selection of dessert, also top quality:) Haven't tried the lunch yet however, can tell it is fully loved by the local here. People come here for grabbing a nice coffee, for meeting old friends, for chatting with neighborhood, well done Cafe Lime. And I do love my double shots Latte!

Yelp
Lovely food! Their eggs benny are awesome, their Caesar salad the best! Coffees are so so.

Yelp
The service was prompt warm & friendly. The food was excellent and so was the coffee. The option of indoor & outdoor seating offers choice and in this extended summer weather, outside is a great option. We enjoyed eggs Benedict; one with salmon one with spinach. The eggs were cooked to perfection and the lime hollandaise a tasty twist.

Yelp
Staff were not interested in taking our order unless we went up to the counter, but coffee was nice and food came quickly. Waffles very crunchy but would recommend

Yelp
Good food and service, perhaps a little overpriced and the music is a bit boring. Coffee was average at best but the place itself is quite nice. Would recommend for the menu but it wouldn't be on the top of my list.

Yelp
Sorry, no pictures. Couldnt put the citrus tart down long enuf to take any. Staff friendly & efficient. Coffee hit the spot. A bit pricey - but worth it if all their food tastes as good as it looks.

Yelp
Cute little place on the main drag in Rotorua. Food was very good and plentiful and the atmosphere was lovely. I am sure it is even better in the summer! Highly recommend.
