Lime Cafe was exceptionally good. Located on Whakaue Street, Rotorua, we were greeted with smiles all around. The menu was limited but everything we ordered was immaculate. Toast & Preserves, I got ciabatta with apricot & raspberry jam. Exceptional. Got a blueberry muffin. Fresh and soft and fruity. Got fried eggs 🍳 too. The cappuccino was good too.

Fantastic food and location, great coffee, had the eggs benedict and a lemon cookie. Quality across the board.

I love my big breakfast but some cafes just overkill it. It was the best I had had in such a long time. Scrambled eggs weren't overseasoned or dry, toasted bread wasn't hard, harsh brown was crunchy, sausage and bacon weren't cooked to death. Definitely coming back next time I'm in Rotorua.

Yum! Had a fantastic breakfast, super yummy...beautiful crispy edge potato rosi eggs Benedict for me, great big breakfast for hubby and kids pancake stack, all went down a treat. Well presented, delicious and excellent service. Going back tomorrow 😁👌

The Lime Cafe in Rotorua presents a mixed experience. While the menu and food quality are commendable, the service standards leave much to be desired. The primary concern lies in the service delivery. Drinks were served with significant delays between them, disrupting the dining flow. Futhermore, the staffs demeanor was notably unwelcoming. The lack of interaction and absence of smiles created a less than inviting atmosphere. The staffs customer skills need improvement. The staff member delivering drinks should focus on providing a more personable service, while the other staff member delievering the food should handle the plates with more care. Overall the Lime Cafe's sucess hinges on improving service quality to match its culinary offerings. add: Music was also terrible. I dont think the majority of older people i seen in the cafe want to listen to the horrible "gen a" music.

A good breakfast in Rotorua, street parking all around(need to pay). Coffees are good, not great. You need to order at the counter, girls are mostly busy with doing coffees. Just could be a better service for the prices they are asking there.

We’ve been coming here for years, I personally think they have the best eggs Benedict I’ve ever had - theirs are with rosti, which I prefer to bread, eggs are always cooked properly, bacon is good and just the right amount of sauce, plus a balsamic drizzle around the plate.

So lime cafe is a local favorite. Only had a coffee with my friends and the coffee was excellent a Caramel latte. Their cabinet always looks awesome and I have had food here previously which could hardly be faulted. I di have o e gripe but it seems it's becoming usual everywhere now. A large coffee which used to be large is now medium teacup at best. Little gripe but hey It was yummy

Yelp
Came here twice for the waffles with peach and berries. Really tasty and very nicely presented. Bacon and eggs were tasty too, including the ciabatta toast. Very busy at 10am on a Saturday!

Yelp
Went twice. Yesterday was great, it was a rainy day so we wanted to go somewhere close for breakfast and coffee. Walked in, got served quickly. Orders were taken and the food came out very fast. We were pleased so we went back today again. Unfortunately they took a long time to serve us this time and our food took even longer to come out than for us to be served. The food was awesome on both occasions though. Although yes, they're definitely overpriced but Rotorua is a town based on tourism so I understand why. I'd recommend this place to a friend.

Yelp
Lunch here in December 2011. Excellent and beautiful dishes. One of my most memorable meals in NZ.

Yelp
Lovely cafe, with about 7 or 8 tables inside and a nice outdoor area which would be superb in summer however probably a bit exposed when the wind is coming off the lake. This place is often busy which is a good sign and it's frequented by both tourists and locals - another good sign!! The service is ok: service is so dependent on the staff and - as we all know - a bad wait-person can ruin a cafe!! I think the waitress may have been in training on the day we went- she was hesitant but she was fine. We didn't have to wait too long and when our Eggs Benedict and Salmon Bagels came they were delicious. The coffee hit the spot so no complaints there. Our breakfast for 3 came to $75-odd, tourist prices but the rent for the location is probably high too, and eating out isn't just about the food. I would definitely recommend this cafe.

Yelp
Lime Café on Whakaue Street towards the lake in Rotorua I have been wanting to go to several times I have been visiting the area. I think what draws me is that it's always busy. However Queens Birthday was not the time to visit. Our coffee's got muddled up with the people next to us and I am still wired today from the STRONG coffee I accidently got. The menu is interesting eg. Cream Rice for brunch but I decided on good old Eggs Benedict. The portions were generous and the presentation nice. The people next to us didn't seem to get the things they asked for and then things they didn't but as my 2 friends and I ordered the same food it was a dead given. The cabinets looked full of yummy fare and I liked the modern relaxed feel of the place. It has a nice outdoor area for Summer and I would go back when they are not so busy.

Yelp
Walk into this beautiful Cafe in a rainy day. Waitress smiles to me soon clears the wetness feel. Nice latte and good selection of dessert, also top quality:) Haven't tried the lunch yet however, can tell it is fully loved by the local here. People come here for grabbing a nice coffee, for meeting old friends, for chatting with neighborhood, well done Cafe Lime. And I do love my double shots Latte!

Yelp
The service was prompt warm & friendly. The food was excellent and so was the coffee. The option of indoor & outdoor seating offers choice and in this extended summer weather, outside is a great option. We enjoyed eggs Benedict; one with salmon one with spinach. The eggs were cooked to perfection and the lime hollandaise a tasty twist.

Yelp
Staff were not interested in taking our order unless we went up to the counter, but coffee was nice and food came quickly. Waffles very crunchy but would recommend

Yelp
Good food and service, perhaps a little overpriced and the music is a bit boring. Coffee was average at best but the place itself is quite nice. Would recommend for the menu but it wouldn't be on the top of my list.

Yelp
Sorry, no pictures. Couldnt put the citrus tart down long enuf to take any. Staff friendly & efficient. Coffee hit the spot. A bit pricey - but worth it if all their food tastes as good as it looks.

Yelp
Cute little place on the main drag in Rotorua. Food was very good and plentiful and the atmosphere was lovely. I am sure it is even better in the summer! Highly recommend.
