Limmathof Baden Hotel & Novum Spa

Our stay at the Limmathof Baden hotel was truly exceptional. The property offers a distinctive blend of informal, industrial charm and refined comfort, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere throughout. Although the rooms are compact, they are thoughtfully designed, impeccably clean, and exude a sense of calm and tranquility. Every detail appears carefully considered—from the comfortable beds to the cohesive interior theme that extends throughout the entire establishment. The hotel’s location is ideal, surrounded by a relaxed and friendly environment that enhances the overall experience. The staff deserve particular praise for their professionalism, kindness, and attentiveness; they were consistently helpful and courteous, even during challenging times. Offering outstanding value for the area, this hotel stands out as a remarkable choice. Highly recommended.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the hotel and spa. I arrived and was greatest by a friendly and informative staff member who had kindly upgraded my room to a suit with a balcony. My room was new, clean and had a fridge space. I was able to access the clean and calming spa facilities straight away and could use them even after on the day of check out.

Loved my 5 days here. Rooms are large and airy. Staff including Peter, Jessica, and Fiona are friendly and fabulous. I had lost luggage including my passport and they went above and beyond to help me. The restaurant Pepe Nero is also very good. Everything was freshly prepared and delicious. The hostess, Fortunata, was very accommodating. Spa Novum is a special treat. My favorites were the pool, ice room and salt room. The ice is more pleasant option to an ice cold plunge. Well done! Will definitely return.

Our hotel room was clean with a great view of the water. It had everything that we needed and the hotel staff was really friendly and helpful. The spa area was incredible with so many amenities and the gym was also one of the best hotel gyms I have seen. Loved my time in Baden!

We wanted to share our positive feedback about our experience at Limmathof Baden Hotel. The spacious room and impressive facilities, especially the natural onsen, massage, steam room, and sauna, contributed to a truly relaxing stay. Fiona, the hotel receptionist, deserves special mention for providing exceptional service whenever we needed assistance. Her attentiveness added a personal touch to our experience. We're genuinely pleased with the location and overall ambiance of the hotel. Highly recommended for a wonderful stay!

The hotel is very nice, located in a quiet part of Baden, yet not far from the city centre – within walking distance. My studio room was beautiful, very spacious, with a sofa and a large TV. There's also a little kitchenette and a very comfortable bed – note that the room is on the 3rd floor without an elevator. The shower in the room was a bit small (I’m not the smallest person, and I did fit in, but a few extra centimetres would have been more comfortable). The staff at the front desk were welcoming, friendly, and accommodating throughout the whole week, except on Friday (the day of my check-out). Unfortunately, the person on duty that Friday was new, someone I had never seen before, and unlike the other staff – not really helpful – perhaps due to a lack of training or just a bad day. In the end, it took me more than 20 minutes to check out (this was not waiting in a queue but trying to address a problem with my invoice) – without going into too much detail, there's definitely some room for improvement here. Breakfast is served across the river in another building, and it was very good - scrambled eggs, fresh bread, and both hot and cold beverages. Everything I needed. The spa is beautiful, and facilities like the gym, indoor pool, and sauna made my stay really enjoyable and relaxing. Overall, my experience was very positive, and I look forward to returning here in the future.

Perfect location in the center of the town, on the river, adjacent to the new thermal baths. Spacious and very contemporary room. Outstanding service. Unfortunately, the hotel has its facilities spread out over several buildings and lacks some ambiance/liveliness.

The staff were wonderful - really helped me on arrival when I'd had a difficult journey. Room was clean, cool (it was 33 degrees outside) and quiet (Badenfahrt was in full swing and noisy outside till 4 AM - but we were not disturbed). Didn't use spa as were visiting family. Breakfast is typical - don't expect a good old fry-up. Only criticism is the price - it is very expensive to stay here - but that is true of every hotel in Baden.
