Ordered the motuleños as suggested by the waiter at first I didn't like it was way too sweet... then I added the habanero salsa which made it sing....super economical compared to most of this expensive island...service was spot on good job.

The pancakes and the motulenos were good but the waffles on the other hand were very dry and tasted like nothing.

I enjoyed a really nice breakfast in a cozy setting here. Along with every meal, they offer free American coffee, which is a great bonus. The prices are a little higher than usual, but the quality of the food and the warm atmosphere make it worth a visit. It's a good spot to try out, especially if you like a relaxing place for your morning meal.

Lovely little breakfast place, recommended by locals. It can get very busy, very fast. We went there 3-4 times very early in the morning, at 8am which is their opening time, so we found a table right away but it got full in a blink of an eye. We tried their Chillaquiles Divorciados, the Enfrijoladas, Detox juice, iced green tea and strawberry milkshake. The filter coffee is OK as well. The prices are fair and they take card payments as well -assuming WiFi is working -we had no issues. The location is very central, right opposite the basketball/volleyball court (which doubles as a market on Sundays!), and the taxi rank, which means its a relatively busy road. Of the weather permits, they have a couple of tables outside, in the street too. We sat inside all of the times.

Best breakfast on Holbox - the only place we visited more than once as it was just that good. Epic motuleños with a house made habanero salsa were a favourite but everything we tried was excellent including chilaquiles and rancheros. Eggs were fresh and perfectly cooked. Service was friendly (and very tolerant of my poor Spanish!) and the dining room spotless and well ventilated with multiple fans. Highly recommend for a proper Mexican breakfast!

Great friendly staff, high quality food, authentic dishes, quick service, reasonably priced. This place hits the mark in every category. We ended up eating breakfast here most mornings while staying on the island. Could not recommend more.

What a treat! We ordered the Huevos Mexicana and Huevos Divorciados. Both dishes were flavorful and the portions were extremely generous for a very affordable price. I highly recommend this place as a wonderful local breakfast option.

Yelp
We ordered Chilaquiles and waffles and they were pretty good. Food I will give 80%. It looks like a local spot and people know each other. Service for the locals who can speak Spanish was fast as waiter was not comfortable to come to tourist's table. Ambiance is ok. It is more like a while in a wall.

Yelp
Food is amazing. Our breakfast stop on every tip to Holbox. A family business and local cuisine. The divorced eggs is my wife's favorite. I like to fresh juices they offer.

Yelp
We had a really great brunch here. We got the huevos motuleños, chilaquiles verdes, and enchiladas rojas. All three were great, although the eggs really stood out -- the tortilla on the bottom and fried bananas on top really made it all come together, and this was unlike any other dish we had in Holbox.

Yelp
The sauces are amazing. Red, green and the bean sauce! Glad we snagged a table outside.

Yelp
Good little spot. It was recommended by our hotel receptionist. The huevos a la mexicana were good. Service was excellent.

Yelp
We loved this place for breakfast and will definitely visit again. We had chilaquiles and huevos rancheros.

Yelp
Are these reviews paid for? This place was horrible we waited an hour for toast and beans and microwaved tortillas. They don't even have a stove in back, it's all microwaved. We asked for a coke and 30 minutes we asked where it was and they said they are out, lol what a joke, it's a tourist scam.

Yelp
After a bit of research for 'best breakfast' on the island we came across this place. There are two picnic tables out front and probably six tables inside. It's usually very crowded and there seems to only be one nice waiter doing everything so you have to be a little patient. Most of the breakfasts come with coffee and the juice of the day which we thought was a great deal. We ordered the Mexican eggs and one order of Chilaquiles Verdes. We were pleased with the food. I've never had Chilaquiles before and they're very interesting. It's made with layers of chips, Mexican cheese and tomatillo verde salsa and topped with a fried egg. It felt a tad indulgent to eat a plate of chips for breakfast but I was led to believe that this is a classic Mexican dish. I definitely will be reinterpreting this dish at home. We'd go back here again, but it might be a long wait because there usually is only one waiter.

Yelp
We ate breakfast here on two mornings during a recent trip to Isla Holbox. This is a great breakfast spot. During our first visit, I had an omelette with chorizo and mushrooms. This was one of the best omelettes that I have ever eaten. The chorizo was outstanding and the mushrooms were well cooked. My wife had an omelette with mushrooms and bacon. I tried a piece and the bacon was cooked perfectly (crispy). During our second visit, my wife ordered the chorizo omelette and I had the huevos rancheros. We both liked our food and thought that both dishes were very delicious. The service was good and the price was cheap. If we are ever back on the island, we will definitely stop here for a great breakfast. You should too.

Yelp
Great prices. Great service. Delicious chilaquiles! They even come with a juice of the day. Licuado's and Jugo's (fresh juice) are only 40 or so pesos. Jamaica AKA hibiscus juice is so good. Ask for their homemade hot sauce... you'll need it if you're a spice head.
