Limosa Rise

Modern, clean, comfortable, quiet accommodation with every amenity, great views, a friendly and hospitable host and handy to Wilson's Prom. An extra treat were the mobs of kangaroos bounding through the paddock in front. Spectacular night skies, wonderful sunsets, and the bbq on the verandah made for some very enjoyable evenings. We were sorry we had to leave, but thoroughly recommend Limosa Rise (even if the signwriter can't spell casuarina!)

My husband and I stayed in Casuarina Cottage early May. Upon arrival We were blown away by the views and location. Our cottage was very welcoming with pleasant decor and floor to ceiling window views of the water. We found everything to be very clean and well catered for. To our surprise there was split wood on the deck to light the fire which set the mood perfectly and made our cottage very cozy. The bed was very comfortable and the seating also very comfortable. We also enjoyed having a real coffee in the morning, with freshly grounded coffee beans supplied. We would highly recommend this property to couples, families or solo.

We stayed at beautiful Limosa Rise for 3 nights while we explored the wonderful Wilson’s Prom, with its stunning scenery. The 3 ‘cottages’ are luxurious accommodations just a few minutes drive from the entrance to the national park.|We stayed in Banksia which was spacious, comfortable, well equipped for self catering (which you need to do) and well maintained. We had a glorious view from our huge windows and very private deck area, which was perfect for sitting and enjoying the late afternoon sun after a day out. (I think all 3 cottages face the same way). |The owner lives onsite and is friendly and helpful with any queries you may have.|We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

These guys have thought of EVERYTHING. Probably the best cottage stay we have ever had in Australia. The photos do not do the views and the room justice, it's so cozy, clean and tidy and you literally don't need to bring anything as everything is available here. Don't even think about it, just book it. You won't regret it!

A friendly welcome on arrival from the host , who came and gave us an overview of the area. The view from the cottage was magnificent, it covered the lakes and the mountains of the prom. (In the evening Roos were collecting in the field in front of us.) We had Spectacular views of full moon rising over the prom , despite overcast skies.|The cottage was well equipped and comfortably furnished ,even had electric blankets in the bed , which we used one night as it was getting cooler.|Our only disappointment was the skies were overcast for the 2 nights we stayed ,so we missed out on seeing the spectacular starry night sky.|A memorable cottage and a great location for exploring the Prom

This is also called the koala gully retreat, and it's great - comes with board games, all the items you'll think of (and stuff that you didn't realise you needed - external lights, BBQ, ample kitchen towels etc). Great views as well. Reason for the 4/5 and not 5/5 : Request for a checkout at 11 instead of 10 wasn't accommodated/acknowledged.

Limosa Rise provides high quality self service accommodation cottages with excellent views. Cooking marshmallows over the fire whilst looking out at the Peninsula is a wonderful experience. Despite the accommodations being relatively close to each other, you feel a real sense of privacy in your own cottage. First class cooking amenities and kitchen. A great option for those seeking luxury accomodation within a 30 minute drive of the Mornington Peninsula.

Extraordinary experience staying at Limrosa Rise cottage. Magnificent views looking through windows, beach,plants and trees make this place even more relaxant. Kangaroos walk change your mood after spending whole day at the beach. Friendly and professional customer service by owner,Marcus make this place more comfortable for guests.Highly recommended!!!!
